1. Read all instructions before
operating the air cleaner.
2. Place air cleaner where it is not
easily knocked over by persons in
the household.
3. Always turn the air cleaner controls
to the OFF position and unplug
from the wall outlet when not in
use.
4. To disconnect the air cleaner,
turn the control knob to the OFF
position, grip the plug and pull it
from the wall outlet. NEVER pull
by the cord.
5. DO NOT use any product with a
damaged cord or plug or if product
malfunctions, is dropped or
damaged in any manner. Keep the
cord away from heated surfaces.
6. DO NOT use air cleaner outdoors.
7. NEVER use air cleaner unless it is
fully assembled.
8. DO NOT run power cord under
carpets, and do not cover with
throw rugs. Arrange cord such that
it will not be tripped over.
9. DO NOT use air cleaner where
combustible gases or vapors are
present.
1 0 . DO NOT expose the air cleaner
to rain, or use near water, in a
bathroom, laundry area or other
damp location.
11. The air cleaner must be used in its
upright position.
1 2 . DO NOT allow foreign objects to
enter ventilation or exhaust opening
as this may cause electric shock or
damage to the air cleaner. DO NOT
block air outlets or intakes.
1 3 . Locate air cleaner near the outlet
and avoid using an extension cord.
14 . A power adapter has been supplied
with this air cleaner. DO NOT use a
different power adapter.
15 . A loose fit between the AC outlet
(receptacle) and plug may cause
overheating and a distortion of the
plug. Contact a qualified electrician
to replace loose or worn outlet.
1 6 . DO NOT sit, stand or place heavy
objects on the air cleaner.
17. Disconnect power supply before
servicing.

the scent pad located within the
cartridge. Contains fragrance oils.
KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN
AND PETS. FIRST AID TREATMENT:
If eye contact occurs, flush with water
immediately. If eye irritation persists,
consult a doctor.
IF SWALLOWED:
DO NOT induce vomiting, call a
physician or poison control center
immediately.
Febreze® Scent Cartridges
DO NOT place in microwave.
DO NOT touch exposed scent pad with
skin. In case of contact with skin, wash area
immediately with plenty of water.
DO NOT place opened scent cartridge on
furniture, fabrics, bedding or plastics.
For scent only, refill cartridge should not
be taken internally.

SET-UP
• Select a firm, level and flat location. To optimize performance, ensure that airflow is
not blocked or restricted near base of unit.
• When operating air will be drawn into the air cleaner. Surrounding areas should
be cleaned and/or vacuumed frequently to prevent build-up of dust and other
contaminants. This may also help prolong the life of the filter.

Clean & Freshen the Air
1Dirty, stale, odor-filled air is drawn
into the air cleaner by a fan.
2The OdorGrab™filter helps trap
household odors and larger airborne
particles, such as pet hair, lint and
dust from the air that passes through
the filter.
3Fresh Febreze®scent is added to
the filtered air before it is released
back into the room.

INSTALLING FEBREZE® ODORGRAB™ FILTER
The OdorGrab™ TFilter is supplied within the air cleaner. It is wrapped to ensure purity.
• Turn off and unplug the air cleaner.
• Turn the air cleaner upside down on a flat surface. Gently remove the base by pulling
it upwards.
• Remove the filter by grasping the edges of the filter frame or the ribbon tab.
Pull away from tabs and up to remove.
• Remove the protective plastic from the Febreze®OdorGrab™TFilter.
• Insert the fresh filter into the unit with the ribbon tabs facing you. This will allow for
easy removal the next time you have to replace the filter.
Note: The OdorGrab™ Filter is not washable. Do not immerse in water.
INSTALLING THE FEBREZE® SCENT CARTRIDGE
One Febreze®scent cartridge is supplied
with your new air cleaner. It is packed in
the same plastic bag as this Instruction
Manual. It is sealed for freshness.
• Turn off and unplug the air cleaner.
Open the door on the Scent Cartridge
compartment on the back of the unit.
(See next page for location)
• Peel the foil layer off the cartridge
by pulling on the tab. Once removed,
immediately dispose of the foil layer.
A thin clear film with perforations
will remain attached to the cartridge.
DO NOT REMOVE.
