unit to ensure safe and eective use, as well as long life
of the product.
Heating pads are intended for personal comfort, includ-
ing temporary relief of minor aches and pains.

WARNINGS & CAUTIONS
1. Read and follow all instructions before use.
2. Do not use while sleeping.
3. Do not use on an infant or on an animal.
4. The unattended use of the heating pad by children
or incapacitated persons may be dangerous.
5. Do not use over sensitive skin areas or in the
presence of poor circulation.
6. Do not use a heating pad on areas of insensitive
skin.
7. Do not use in an oxygen enriched environment or
near equipment which stores or emits oxygen.
8. Do not put this pad in a microwave.
9. Do not tamper with this pad in any way.
10. Carefully examine vinyl pad before each use.
Discard if the vinyl pad shows any signs of
deterioration, such as blistering or cracking.
11. Never use pad without the removable cover in
place.
12. Place pad on top of and not under the part of the
body needing heat.
13. Do not sit on or lean against or crush pad. Avoid
sharp folds.

WARNINGS & CAUTIONS
14. Burns may occur when the power is on. Check the
skin under the pad frequently to avoid burning and
blistering.
15. Do not use with liniment, salve or ointment
preparations, especially ones that contain heat
producing ingredients. Skin burns could result.
16. Never use pins or other metallic means to fasten
the pad in place.
17. Only use with a 120 volt AC circuit.
18. Never pull this pad by the supply cord. Do not use
the cord as a handle.
19. Do not bend or pinch cord. Do not use if cord is
damaged.
20. Unplug when not in use.
21. Loop cord loosely when storing. Tight wrapping
may damage cord and internal parts.
22. There are no user-serviceable parts. If for any
reason the pad does not function satisfactorily see
warranty for consumer service information.

(one blade is wider than the other) as
a safety feature. This plug will t into a
polarized outlet only one way.
If the plug does not t fully into the
outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does
not t, contact a qualied electrician.

HOW TO USE YOUR HEATING PAD
Dry heat therapy—such as traditional electric heat-
ing pads or saunas—oers a fast solution for therapeu-
tic heat and is easy to use and apply.
Moist heat therapy—such as moist heat packs, hot
baths, or steamed towels—can help aid in the heat’s
penetration into the muscles.
Doctors, physical therapists and sports trainers often
recommend both methods as a means for soothing
muscles aches and pains. Consult with your physician
if you have questions regarding what type of therapy is
best for your ailment.
ALWAYS USE THE INCLUDED CLOTH COVER
WHILE OPERATING THIS HEATING PAD. FAIL-
URE TO DO SO MAY RESULT IN SERIOUS INJURY
INCLUDING BURNS. Read the WARNINGS AND
CAUTIONS section of this manual before use and
always use common sense care when operating any
electrical device.

HOW TO USE YOUR HEATING PAD
1. Insert the PVC pad fully into the
cloth cover; the cord and control
should extend fully outside of the
cover.
2. Take care that the pad is at and
not folded or bunched within the
cover.
3. The sponge pad is for use with
Moist Heat therapy; if Moist Heat
is desired, follow the Moist Heat
instructions on the next page.
4. Plug the product into a standard
120-volt AC electrical outlet.
5. Position the heating pad for de-
sired treatment. The pad should
always be positioned on top of—
NOT UNDERNEATH—the treatment site as the
temperature can increase to uncomfortable levels
when the heat is trapped.
6. Press the ON/OFF button to turn the heating pad
on; the power light will illuminate.
7. Monitor your comfort level and discontinue use if
heat is uncomfortable.
8. The heating pad will turn o after approximately 2
hours. Always unplug the device when not in use.

HOW TO USE YOUR HEATING PAD
1. Saturate the SPONGE only with
warm water. Do not use any gels,
solvents or other liquid to saturate
the sponge.
2. Lightly wring out excess water so
that the sponge is not dripping.
3. Place the sponge on the PVC pad
and insert the both pieces fully into the cloth cover;
the cord and control should extend fully outside of
the cover.
4. Take care that the pad is at and not folded or
bunched within the cover.
5. Dry hands thoroughly and plug the product into a
standard 120-volt AC electrical outlet.
6. Position the heating pad for desired treatment.
The pad should always be positioned on top
of—NOT UNDERNEATH—the treatment site as the
temperature can increase to uncomfortable levels
when the heat is trapped.
7. Press the ON/OFF button to turn the heating pad
on; the power light will illuminate.
8. Monitor your comfort level and discontinue use if
heat is uncomfortable.

CARE AND MAINTENANCE
DISCONNECT THE HEATING PAD FROM THE
ELECTRICAL OUTLET AFTER USE AND BEFORE
CLEANING.
Remove the pad and sponge from the outer fabric cover
before cleaning.
• VINYL PAD—The vinyl pad may be wiped down
as needed but should not be immersed in water
• OUTER FABRIC COVER—Machine or hand wash
the outer fabric cover using a mild detergent, a
gentle/delicate cycle, with cool water only. To dry,
hang the outer cover or lay it at. Do not machine
dry.
• MOIST HEAT SPONGE—Hand wash the sponge
using a mild detergent and cool water only; lay at
to dry. Do not machine dry.
Store the pad, sponge, and outer cover in a cool, dry
location after each use. Do not reassemble the cover and
pad until completely dry.
When storing, avoid sharply folding the pad as over time
cracks may occur in the vinyl.

When should a heating pad be used?
Heating pads as recommended by a health care pro-
fessional can be used for heat therapy or as desired for
personal comfort.
How does heat therapy help?
Heat therapy enlarges the blood vessels of muscles,
increasing the ow of oxygen and nutrients to the
muscles. This therapy helps relieve painful discomfort,
decreases muscle stiness and increases exibility.
Why did my heating pad stop working or cool
down?
For safety purposes, this device will automatically shut-
o after 2 hours.
What temperature does this product reach?
This heating pad is designed to reach the highest
temperature limit allowed by Underwriters Laboratories,
131~140°F / 55~60°C when set on the highest setting.
How much time does it take to warm up to full
heat strength?
Full Strength — Approximately 8 minutes

1-YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY
The warrantor guarantees that its Heating Pad will be
free from manufacturing defects under normal use for
a period of one-year. This warranty covers only normal
use, and does not apply to use in any clinical or com-
mercial applications. This warranty is voided if the unit is
misused or abused in any manner.
If the Heating Pad fails to conform to this limited
warranty, return the Heating Pad postage prepaid to:
Attn: Repair Department, 1175 Lakeside Drive,
Gurnee, IL, 60031. When returning a product, please
also include: (i) a copy of your receipt, bill of sale or other
comparable proof of purchase; (ii) a written description of
the problem; and (iii) your name, address and telephone
number. Carefully package the product to avoid any dam-
age that may occur while in transit; shipping insurance
with returned receipt is recommended. At our option,
the warrantor will repair or replace the unit found to be
defective in materials or workmanship under normal
consumer usage. The purchaser will be notied of any
additional repairs required prior to completing the repair,
and will be responsible for parts charges, if any, and
repair charges not covered by this limited warranty.
EXCEPT AS PROVIDED FOR IN THIS LIMITED WARRAN-
TY, ALL EXPRESS AND IMPLIED WARRANTIES AND
