Integration System. Please read these instructions
carefully before using the boots for the first time.
Keep these instructions in a safe place and make
sure other users are familiar with them.

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
• This device is not suitable for people (including
children) of reduced physical, sensory or
intellectual capacity or for use by inexperienced
and/or unknowledgeable people unless they
are supervised by a person responsible for
their safety or who has provided them with
instructions on how to use it.
• Supervise children to ensure they do not play
with the device.
• If you are unable to feel hot or cold temperatures
accurately (diabetic or disabled users, etc.),
consult your doctor before using the device.
• Check regularly that no redness appears on
your fingers. There is a risk of burns in the case
of exposure to excessive heat for a prolonged
period. Consequently, children must only
use this device under the supervision of a
responsible adult.
• This device must not be used to warm animals.
• The pockets protect thebatteries from splashes.
Once attached to the boots, the batteries must
remain connected to the connection cords
whenever the boots are worn outside, firstly
to prevent moisture and dirt from entering
the connection point and power supply socket
and secondly to prevent the battery case from
being opened accidentally.
• Use only the Therm-ic USB charger supplied
to charge the batteries.
• Do not wear the boots while the batteries are
charging.
• Do not insert metal or other objects into the
connectors or the USB charger as this may
damage the device.

• If you discover that the connection cords,
batteries or other parts of the boot are
damaged, the heating function must not
be used. After removal of the batteries,
the boots can be used as an ordinary boots.
• Never attempt to remove the protective film
enclosing the batteries! There is a danger
of explosion if the lithium-ion batteries are
handled inappropriately.
• Batteries which have damaged protective
films must not be used and must be disposed
of as soon as possible.
• Do not modify this device and only use it for
its intended purpose. The parts of the device
and its connection cords should be repaired
by the manufacturer only.
• If you have questions or if there are any
problems with the device, please contact your
retailer or the manufacturer.
• Dispose of used batteries as required by
the regulations in your area.
• Do not throw batteries into a fire–risk of explosion!
• The boots must never be machine washed or
hand washed.
• The drying temperature must not exceed
40°C / 104°F. Never dry the Boot Integration
System in a tumble dryer or on a radiator.

FIRST USE AND CHARGING THE BATTERIES
The batteries must be charged before first use.
Please ensure that the Therm-ic Boot Integration
System are switched OFF while charging.
1. Plug in the USB cable. The charge indicator
light (2.1) will light up green. Next, plug the
two boot connectors (1.3) into the charger
(2.2). Charging will start automatically and
the charge indicator light (2.1) turns red and
remains on during charging.
2. When the batteries are fully charged,
charging will stop automatically and the
LEDs in the charge indicator light (2.1) will
turn green again.
3. Unplug the two Boot Integration System
connectors from the USB charger.
Charging time is approximately 4-6hours.
Note that at half time of the charging time

mentioned above, the battery is already
charged at around 75% of its maximum
capacity (fast charging process). Lab test done
using Therm-ic USB wall plug universal charger
(optional).
Important advice:
• Recharge the batteries after each use to keep
them in good condition and to ensure the
Therm-ic Boot Integration System is always
ready for use.
• Each battery is made up of lithium-ion cells.
It can be recharged in any state of charge.
Consequently, it is not necessary to discharge
the batteries completely before recharging.
Important:
Never try to open a battery pack!
There is a risk of explosion if the lithium-ion
batteries are handled inappropriately.
There is also a risk of damaging the electronic
components of the Boot Integration System.

The Therm-ic Boot Integration System has four

Turning the device ON:
Press and hold down the function button (1.2)
(for approx. 3 seconds) to set the Therm-ic
Boot Integration System to the lowest heating
level. If the button is pressed for more than
6seconds, the boots will go into lock mode and
switch o.
Changing the heat setting:
Pressing the function button once (for approx.
1 second) will increase the heating setting
(level1, level2 or level3).
> Level 1: 1 flash, low heating setting.
> Level 2: 2 flashes, medium heating setting.
> Level 3: constant light, high heating setting.
If lock mode is activated, you will first need to
unlock the system.
LOCK mode:
If the button is not pressed for 10seconds, it
will go into lock mode. Pressing the function
button (for approx. 1 second) will unlock the
system. In lock mode the heat level selected is
still active.
Turning the device OFF:
To switch o the Therm-ic Boot Integration
System, press and hold the function button (1.2)
(for 3 seconds, until the heating level indicator
light switches o).
IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
• Charge the batteries before each use.
• When switching on the Therm-ic Boot
Integration System, do not leave them set
to level 3 for more than a few minutes;
continuous use at this setting risks raising

the temperature excessively and may cause
burns.
• Always set the Therm-ic Boot Integration
System to the level 1 or level 2 setting to
keep your feet at a comfortable temperature
(the warming eect should be practically
imperceptible).
• The optimum heating temperature is reached
when the boots are dry.

Measurements were made under laboratory
conditions directly on the heating element.
The heating duration per charge depends
on the heating level selected, the ambient
temperature, the age of the batteries and their
charge level. Therefore, the indicated heating
durations are provided only as a guideline and
are not contractual.
STORAGE AND CARE OF THE BATTERIES
To prolong the life of the batteries, we
recommend you charge them to half capacity
and then store them in a cool place (at
5°C/41°F to 20°C / 68°F). During storage,
the batteries must not be connected to either
the boot or the USB charger.
Avoid prolonged periods when the batteries
are not in use. If storing the batteries for long
periods, discharge them and then recharge
them fully every 6months (for approx. 3hours).

The heating duration per charge depends
on the heating level selected, the ambient

local specialist retailer.
When the boots become dirty, clean them
with a damp cloth or a clothes brush.
The boots must never be machine washed or
hand washed.
DISPOSAL
When the boots reach the end of their life
cycle, dispose of them with their packaging
in accordance with applicable environmental
protection regulations and laws.
The batteries must be removed from the boots
and disposed of at a suitable collection point.

SPARE PARTS
If you wish to purchase spare parts at a later
date, you must specify the exact Therm-ic
model concerned. We recommend that you
take the part to be replaced to your retailer.

MISE EN SERVICE ET CHARGE DES BATTERIES
Il est nécessaire de charger les batteries avant
la première mise en service !
Pendant la charge veuillez vous assurer que le
système intégré Therm-ic est éteint.

1. Branchez le câble USB. Le voyant de charge
(2.1) s’allume en vert. Branchez ensuite les deux
connecteurs des chaussures (1.3) au chargeur
(2.2). Le système intégré aux chaussures peut
être dans n’importe quel mode au début
du chargement. Le chargement débute
automatiquement et le voyant de charge (2.1)
reste rouge pendant le chargement.
2. Lorsque les batteries sont complètement
chargées, le chargement s’arrête auto-
matiquement et les LED du voyant de charge
(2.1) redeviennent vertes.
3. Débranchez les deux connecteurs du système
intégré aux chaussures du chargeur USB.
Le temps de chargeme est d’environ 4 à 6 h.
Notez qu’a la moitié du temps de charge
mentionné ci-dessus, la batterie est déja
chargée a environ 75% de sa capacité
maximale (processus de charge rapide). Test
de laboratoire réalisé avec le chargeur universel
USB Therm-ic (en option).
Conseil important :
• Rechargez les batteries après chaque
utilisation pour les garder en bon état et pour
être sûr que le système intégré aux chaussures
Therm-ic est prêt à l’usage.
• Chaque batterie contient des cellules lithium-ion.
Elles peuvent être rechargées, peu importe leur
état de chargement. Ainsi, il n’est pas nécessaire
d’attendre qu’elles soient complètement
déchargées pour les recharger.

MODE D’UTILISATION ET DESCRIPTION
DES FONCTIONS
Les chaussures avec système intégré Therm-
ic possèdent quatre modes : arrêt et les
niveaux 1, 2 et 3. Ces modes sont indiqués
par le voyant de la vitesse de chauage (1.1).
Le nombre de clignotements de la LED indique
le niveau de chauage sélectionné. Le réglage
du chauage du système intégré peut être
réglé à trois niveaux diérents (niveau 1,
niveau 2 et niveau 3) grâce à une zone de
commande comportant un bouton unique
(1.2). Le système intégré aux chaussures Therm-ic
est à l’arrêt lorsque le voyant de niveau de
chauage à LED n’est pas allumé.
Marche (ON) :
Appuyer longtemps (env. 3s) sur la touche
de fonction pour régler les chaussures sur le
niveau de chaue le plus bas. Au-delà de 6s
d’appui sur le bouton, celui-ci passe en mode
sécurité et s’éteint.
Réglage :
Une pression (env. 1s) sur la touche de fonction
augmente la puissance de chaue (Level1,
Level 2, Level 3).
> Niveau 1 (Level 1) : 1 flash, puissance de
chauage faible.
> Niveau 2 (Level 2) : 2 flashes, puissance de
chaue moyenne.
> Niveau 3 (Level 3) : Lumiere constante,
puissance de chaue élevée. Sous condition
que le mode veille ne soit pas activé, sinon
réveillez le systeme.

Mode Veille (LOCK) :
Si aucune action n’est réalisée sur le bouton
pendant 10 secondes, le bouton passe en mode
veille. Une simple pression (env. 1 seconde) sur
la touche de fonction, renvoie au niveau de
chaue précédemment sélectionné (UNLOCK).
En mode Lock la chaue reste active.
Arret (OFF) :
Pour éteindre le système intégré aux chaussures
Therm-ic, appuyez sur le bouton et maintenez-le
enfoncé (pendant trois secondes, jusqu’à ce que le
voyant de niveau de chauage s’éteigne).
CONSEILS IMPORTANTS POUR L’UTILISATION
• Chargez les batteries avant chaque utilisation.
• Puis, rebranchez les batteries aux chaussures
(en fixant la prise). Lorsque vous allumez le
système chauant intégré, ne le laissez pas au

une utilisation en continu risque d’élever
la température de manière excessive et
d’occasionner des brûlures.
• Toujours régler les chaussures sur le
niveau 1 ou 2 afin de conserver une chaleur
confortable pour les pieds (la chaue devrait
être pratiquement imperceptible).
• La température de chauage optimale est
atteinte lorsque lorsque les chaussures sont
sèches.
