Standing only 33 inches tall, 8.5
inches wide and 11 inches deep, the
CS1.5 delivers bass to 42 Hz,
projects a realistic and three-
dimensional soundstage, and

transient, and dynamic accuracy.

cabinet walls, and extensive internal
bracing greatly increase cabinet
stiffness. By reducing unwanted
vibration, both clarity and imaging
are improved.
• The grilleboard has rounded edges
which contribute to the speaker’s very
open sound by reducing energy
diffraction.

Tweeter
The 1-inch metal
dome tweeter uses a
large magnet,
vented pole, and
reinforced rear
chamber to allow a
low resonance
frequency and a
wide bandwidth. The
result is high
frequency
reproduction of great
clarity and realism.
Woofer
The 6.5-inch woofer employs a very rigid
aluminum diaphragm to eliminate cone break-
up and unwanted energy storage. A special
short coil/long gap magnet system is used for
extremely low distortion and improved mid-
frequency
performance,
critical in a two-

sleeve maintains
a stable magnetic
field and the
driver employs
two magnets with
a total weight of
2.4 pounds. In
conjunction with
the bass radiator,
which eliminates
bass port
resonances and
noise, the
CS1.5’s woofer
