Bitte überlasten Sie Ihren ThevoChair nicht und beachten Sie die maximale Belastung (s. technische Daten).
Achtung: Greifen Sie nicht mit den Fingern in die Schaukelmechanik.
Stellen und benutzen Sie den ThevoChair ausschließlich auf ebenen Untergrund und benutzen Sie den ThevoChair
nicht an Orten, die Wasser und Höchsttemperaturen ausgesetzt sind.
Vermeiden Sie das Platzieren von schweren Gegenständen auf dem ThevoChair. Setzen oder stellen Sie sich nicht auf
den Hocker (Zubehör), da die Auflagefläche schräg ist und die Gefahr des Abrutschens besteht.
Bewahren Sie diese Anleitung sorgfältig auf! Es sollten ausschließlich Original-Ersatzteile des Herstellers
verwendet werden.
Lösen Sie keine Schrauben oder nehmen Sie keine heraus, wenn dies nicht angegeben ist.

Inbetriebnahme
Erforderliches Werkzeug: 1 Schraubenschlüssel SW 13 (im Lieferumfang enthalten), 1 Inbussschlüssel SW 5
(im Lieferumfang enthalten).
Nach dem Sie den ThevoChair ausgepackt haben, muss nur noch die Rückenlehne mit der Zugstange verbunden
werden um den ThevoChair nutzen zu können. Dieses führen Sie bitte in der folgenden Reihenfolge durch:
1. ThevoChair vorsichtig seitlich kippen und auf einer sauberen Unterlage ablegen.
2. Rückenlehne aufrichten.
3. Zugstange und Gabellasche der Rückenlehne mit der beiliegenden Schraube verbinden und mit der selbst-
sichernden Mutter sichern. Wichtig: dabei muss das Gewinde der Schraube etwas über die Mutter
herausstehen. (Abb. 1)
4. ThevoChair vorsichtig wieder aufrichten.
Nun ist Ihr ThevoChair einsatzbereit.
Grundeinstellung
Verstellung der Rückenlehne
Die Neigung der Rückenlehne kann in 2 Positionen eingestellt werden. Werkseitig ist die steilere Position der
Rückenlehne eingestellt. Um die Lehne etwas weiter nach hinten zu neigen, entriegeln Sie die Zugstange durch
Ziehen des Zugschnäppers der sich in der Mitte unter der Vorderkante der Sitzfläche befindet. Lassen Sie den
Zugschnäpper wieder los und arretieren Sie die Rückenlehne in der neuen Position. (Abb. 2)
Zubehör
Für den ThevoChair bieten wir folgendes Zubehör an:
• Hocker
• Inkontinenz-Schutzbezüge für ThevoChair + Hocker
• Überzug für Sesselfuß
Anbringen des Sesselfußüberzugs (Zubehör)
Sie können den Überzug für den Sesselfuß wie folgt montieren:
1. ThevoChair vorsichtig seitlich kippen und auf einer sauberen Unterlage ablegen.
2. Die 4 Reißverschlüsse des Überzugs öffnen.
3. Überzug über den Sesselfuß ziehen und alle Reißverschlüsse schließen.
4. Überzug ausrichten, damit dieser gleichmäßig sitzt.
5. ThevoChair vorsichtig wieder aufrichten. – Fertig
Anbringen der Inkontinenz-Schutzüberzüge (Zubehör)
Das Set besteht aus fünf einzelnen Schutzbezügen für die Rückenlehne, die Sitzfläche und die beiden Seitenteile des
ThevoChair sowie für die Auflagefläche des Hockers. Wir empfehlen die Nutzung der Schutzbezüge insbesondere
bei erhöhter Beanspruchung des ThevoChair, z.B. im stationären Bereich. Eine Montageanleitung liegt
dem Zubehör separat bei.
Sie haben die Möglichkeit Zubehör für den ThevoChair bei Thomashilfen zu bestellen. Wir beraten Sie gerne.

Desinfektionsmethoden und Reinigungsempfehlungen
Sie haben ein aus hochwertigen Matrialien hergestelltes Produkt erworben. Das erfordert eine entsprechende Pflege.
Auch kann es durch dauerhafte und intensive Sonneneinstrahlung zu Ausbleichungen kommen.
Bei erhöhter Beanspruchung, z.B. im stationären Bereich, empfehlen wir die Verwendung unserer Schutzbezüge.
Die Bezüge können Sie nicht separat waschen. Versuchen Sie nie, die Bezüge abzunehmen!
Sie reinigen den ThevoChair per Wischdesinfektion.
Anwendungsrisiken und Kontraindikationen (Gegenanzeigen)
ThevoChair wurde zur Förderung der Wahrnehmung und Verbesserung der Symptomatik von Demenzerkrankungen
entwickelt.
Die Anwendung des ThevoChair bedarf keiner speziellen Einweisung. Aus dem bisherigen praktischen Einsatz des
Produktes und aus umfangreichen Tests sind uns keinerlei Probleme im Umgang mit dem Produkt bekannt geworden.
Bei sachgerechtem Gebrauch können Risiken bei der Anwendung ausgeschlossen werden.
Garantiebedingungen
Die Firma Thomashilfen verbürgt sich für die Qualität des gelieferten Produkts. Bei der Wahl des Materials sowie
der Verarbeitung wurden höchste Produktionsstandards zugrunde gelegt. Alle ThevoChair wurden einer gründlichen
Endkontrolle unterzogen.
Thomashilfen gewährt eine Garantie von 10 Jahren auf das Durchsitzen der Sitzfläche und den Schaukelmechanismus
des ThevoChair. Vorraussetzung dafür ist die Einsendung des fehlerhaften Produktes mit Kaufbeleg vor Ablauf der
Garantiezeit.
Betrachten Sie den ThevoChair für die ersten drei Jahre als neuwertig. Danach müssen wir dann bei einer eventuellen
Garantieleistung eine Wertminderung von 10 % pro Gebrauchsjahr auf den Anschaffungspreis anrechnen. Wir bitten
jedoch um Verständnis dafür, dass für die Bezüge und die Produktkomponenten, welche weder als Sitzfläche noch
Schaukelmechanismus definiert sind, die gesetzliche Gewährleistungsfrist gilt.
Die Garantie umfasst alle Ansprüche, die aufgrund von Arbeits- und Materialfehlern entstehen, welche die Funktion
beeinträchtigen. Montage und Transportkosten, die nach Ablauf der gesetzlichen Gewährleistungsfrist entstehen, müssen
leider berechnet werden.

General notes on safety and warnings
Please do not expose your ThevoChair to excessive stress. Refer to the maximal load-bearing capacity in
the technical data.
Caution: Do not insert your fingers into the rocking device.
The ThevoChair should only be placed or used on an even surface. Do not use the ThevoChair in places where it will
be exposed to water or high temperatures. Do not place heavy objects on the ThevoChair.
Do not sit or stand on the stool (accessories), as the supporting surface is sloping and there is a risk of slipping off.
Keep these instructions carefully! Only use original spare parts from the manufacturer.
Do not undo or remove any screws, unless this is given in the instructions.

First operation
Necessary tools: 1 spanner SW 13 (included in delivery), 1 Allen screw SW 5 (included in delivery)
After you have unpacked the ThevoChair, you only have to connect the back rest with the anchor bar to be able to
use the ThevoChair. The necessary steps are as follows:
1. Tip the ThevoChair carefully on the side and lay it on a clean base.
2. Set up the back rest.
3. Connect the anchor bar and the bracket flap to the back rest with the enclosed screw and fasten with the
self-locking nut. Important: The thread of the screw must slightly protrude above the nut. (Fig. 1)
4. Carefully set up the ThevoChair again.
Your ThevoChair is now ready for use.
Basic Settings
Adjusting the back rest
The angle of the back rest can be set at two different positions. The factory setting is in the steeper position.
The arm rest can be tipped backwards by unlocking the anchor bar by pulling the tensile latch bolt in the middle of
the front edge of the seat. Let the latch bolt go and lock the back rest in the new position. (Fig. 2)
Accessories
We offer the following accessories for the ThevoChair:
• Foot Stool
• protective incontinence covers for ThevoChair + Foot Stool
• Cover for the foot of the chair
Attachment of the cover for the foot of the chair (accessories)
You can mount the cover for the foot of the chair as follows:
1. Tip the ThevoChair carefully on the side and lay it on a clean base.
2. Open the 4 zips of the cover.
3. Pull the cover over the foot of the chair and fasten all zips.
4. Make sure that the cover is sitting evenly.
5. Carefully set up the ThevoChair again - ready
Attachment of the protective incontinence covers (accessories)
The set contains five separate covers which can be used for the backrest, the seating surface and the side panel of the
ThevoChair as well as a cover for the surface of the footstool. We recommend using the protective covers for
extended use especially, e.g. in care communities. Please find the separate instruction enclosed at the accessories.

Disinfection methods and recommendations for cleaning
You have just purchased a product made of high quality materials. This requires proper care.
We wish to point out that even high quality materials can bleach if exposed to intense sunlight for long periods.
For extended use, e.g. in care communities, we recommend using our protective covers. You cannot wash the covers
separately. Do not attempt to remove the covers! You can clean the ThevoChair by wiping with disinfectant.
Risks during use and contraindications
ThevoChair was developed to improve the perception and symptoms of patients with dementia.
No special instructions are needed for using the ThevoChair. No problems of any sort have cropped up during the
practical use of this product or during extensive testing.
There are no risks in the use of this product if it is used properly.
Conditions of Guarantee
The company Thomashilfen vouches for the quality of the product delivered. The selection of the material and the pro-
cessing are based on the best possible production standards. Your ThevoChair has been submitted to
thorough final testing.
Thomashilfen gives you a guarantee of 10 years on wearing out the seat and the rocking function of ThevoChair.
A prerequisite is, however, that you send in the defect product including the proof of purchase before the guarantee
expires. Consider this ThevoChair as being as good as new for the first 3 years. From then on we must, in case of any
guarantee undertaken on our part, charge up a value loss of 10 % for each year of use against the purchase price.
Please understand that for the upholstered fabric and other product components, which are not defined as the
seat and the rocking function, the legal warranty period applies.
The guarantee covers all claims arising from defects in processing and materials which impair the function. Damage
is excluded if it arises from improper treatment or natural wear. Installation and transportation costs arising from an
undertaking of guarantee on our part following expiration of the first warranty year must, unfortunately,
be charged to the customer.
We request you carefully to store all records connected with the ThevoChair.

Montage
Outils nécessaires : 1 clé de serrage SW 13 (contenue dans la livraison), 1 clé pour vis à 6 pans creux SW 5 (contenue
dans la livraison).
Pour pouvoir utiliser la ThevoChair, après l’avoir sortie de l’emballage, vous n’avez plus qu‘à connecter le dossier
avec la barre de traction. Pour ce faire, veuillez procéder dans l’ordre qui suit :
1. Faites prudemment basculer la ThevoChair sur le côté de façon à la poser sur une surface propre.
2. Relevez le dossier.
3. A l’aide de la vis fournie dans la livraison, connectez la barre de traction et la patte à fourche, arrêtez ensuite avec
l’écrou indesserrable. Important : le pas de vis doit un peu dépasser l’écrou. (ill.1)
4. Redressez avec précaution la ThevoChair.
Vous pouvez désormais vous en servir.
Réglages principaux
Réglage du dossier
L’inclinaison du dossier peut être réglée sur 2 positions. A l’usine, le dossier de la chaise est réglé sur la position plus
raide. Ainsi, pour l’incliner un peu plus vers l’arrière, déverrouillez la barre de traction en retirant le loqueteau de
traction qui se trouve au milieu en bas du bord avant de la surface de siège. Relâchez ensuite la barre de traction et
bloquez le dossier dans la nouvelle position. (ill.4)
Accessoires

Fixation de l’habillement de pied de chaise (accessoires)
Outil nécessaire : 1 tournevis cruciforme (inclus dans la livraison)
Pour mettre en place l’habillement pour le pied de chaise :
1. Faites prudemment basculer la ThevoChair sur le côté de façon à la poser sur une surface propre.
2. Dévissez les 8 pieds glissants se trouvant en dessous du pied de chaise. (Ill.5)
3. Ouvrez les 4 fermetures de l’habillement.
4. Enfilez le revêtement au pied de chaise et fermez toutes les fermetures.
5. Ajustez l’habillement de façon à ce qu’il soit bien lisse.

Les revêtements ne peuvent pas être lavés séparément. N’essayez jamais de retirer les revêtements! Pour nettoyer la
ThevoChair, vous pouvez la désinfecter par essuyage.

No sobrecargue su ThevoChair y observe la carga máxima (ver datos técnicos).
Atención: No introduzca los dedos en el mecanismo basculante.
Coloque y use el ThevoChair exclusivamente en una superficie plana y no lo utilice en lugares expuestos al agua ni a
temperaturas altas. Evite colocar objetos pesados en el ThevoChair. No se siente ni se ponga de pie en el taburete
(accesorio) porque la superficie de apoyo esta inclinada existiendo el peligro de resbalarse.

Pour pouvoir utiliser la ThevoChair, après l’avoir sortie de l’emballage, vous n’avez plus qu‘à connecter le dossier avec la
barre de traction. Pour ce faire, veuillez procéder dans l’ordre qui suit :
1. Volcar el ThevoChair con cuidado lateralmente y apoyarlo sobre una base limpia.
2. Poner recto el respaldo.
3. Unir la barra de tracción y la brida de horquilla con el tornillo adjunto y fijar con la tuerca autoblocante.
Importante: la rosca del tornillo debe sobresalir un poco de la tuerca. (Fig. 1)
4. Volver a poner de pie el ThevoChair con cuidado.
Ahora, su ThevoChair está listo para usar.
Ajustes básicos
Ajustar el respaldo
La inclinación del respaldo se puede ajustar a 2 posiciones. En fábrica se ha ajustado la posición más vertical del
respaldo. Para inclinar el respaldo un poco más hacia atrás, desbloquee la barra de tracción tirando del tirador de
vaivén ubicado en el centro por debajo del borde anterior de la superficie del asiento. Suelte el tirador de vaivén y
bloquee el respaldo en la nueva posición. (Fig. 4)

Puede colocar la funda para el pie del sillón de la siguiente manera:
1. Volcar el ThevoChair con cuidado lateralmente y apoyarlo sobre una base limpia.
2. Desenroscar los 8 pies deslizantes en la cara inferior del pie del sillón. (Fig. 5)
3. Abrir las 4 cremalleras de la funda.
4. Colocar la funda sobre el pie del sillón y cerrar todas las cremalleras.
5. Orientar la funda de forma que se adapte al pie del sillón.
6. Palpar los agujeros de los tornillos en el pie a través de la tela y volver a enroscar los pies
deslizantes a través de la tela.
7. Volver a poner de pie el ThevoChair con cuidado. ¡Listo!

Attachment of the protective incontinence covers (accessories)
The set contains five separate covers which can be used for the backrest, the seating surface and the side panel of the
ThevoChair as well as a cover for the surface of the footstool. We recommend using the protective covers for
extended use especially, e.g. in care communities. Please find the separate instruction enclosed at the accessories.

Ha adquirido un producto fabricado con materiales de alta calidad que requiere un mantenimiento apropiado.
Le recordamos que incluso las telas de alta calidad pueden desteñirse cuando se exponen de forma prolongada a la
radiación solar intensa.
Las fundas no se pueden lavar por separado. ¡No intente de ningún modo desmontar las fundas! Limpie el ThevoChair
mediante desinfección por fregado.
Riesgos derivados del uso y contraindicaciones
El ThevoChair se desarrolló para el fomento de la percepción y la mejora de la sintomática en enfermedades de
demencia. El uso del ThevoChair no precisa un adiestramiento especial. Del uso práctico del producto y de los nume-
rosos ensayos hasta ahora no se conocen problemas en el manejo del producto.
En caso de un uso reglamentario, se pueden excluir los riesgos derivados del uso.
Condiciones de garantía
The company Thomashilfen vouches for the quality of the product delivered. The selection of the material and the
processing are based on the best possible production standards. Your ThevoChair has been submitted
to thorough final testing.
Thomashilfen gives you a guarantee of 10 years on wearing out the seat and the rocking function of ThevoChair.
A prerequisite is, however, that you send in the defect product including the proof of purchase before
the guarantee expires.
Consider this ThevoChair as being as good as new for the first 3 years. From then on we must, in case of any gua-
rantee undertaken on our part, charge up a value loss of 10 % for each year of use against the purchase price. Please
understand that for the upholstered fabric and other product components, which are not defined as the seat and the
rocking function, the legal warranty period applies.
The guarantee covers all claims arising from defects in processing and materials which impair the function. Damage
is excluded if it arises from improper treatment or natural wear. Installation and transportation costs arising from an
undertaking of guarantee on our part following expiration of the first warranty year must, unfortunately,
be charged to the customer.
