1. GENERAL
This DECT™* repeater is intended to extend the range of your 2 line
DECT 2 base (supplied in the pack).
!Your DECT mini system installation cannot include more than 2
repeaters.
Repeaters cannot be installed in series, meaning that each repeater must
be directly linked within the radio field of the base.
2. INSTALLATION
!Before installing the repeater, you must associate it with the
2 line base.
2.1 ASSOCIATING THE REPEATER WITH THE DECT
BASE
In order to associate the repeater, it must be in the immediate vicinity
of the base.
Check that the repeater's power supply is not plugged into the mains.
From one of the handsets already associated with the system (for exam-
ple, the ):
Press to enter the menu.
Select "BS Setting" and press to confirm.
Enter the "Master PIN": 1590 (default) and press to confirm.
Select "New HS" and press to confirm.

Enter "
Sub PIN:
" 1590 (default) and press to confirm.
The screen displays "HS No : Auto".
Press to confirm.
Then, connect the repeater to the mains.
The repeater's light flashes rapidly.
Then, press and hold down the repeater's recording key (which is on
its back) for 5 to 10 seconds.
The repeater's light flashes slowly. Your repeater is now associated
with the base.
Unplug the repeater to install it in its permanent position, then plug it
in again.
2.2 SITING THE REPEATER
In order to optimise the radio quality of communications, fix the repeater
in a vertical position 2 metres from the floor, preferably away from obsta-
cles which may cause radio interference.
The minimum distance between 2 repeaters must be 10 metres.
!If the repeater's light flashes rapidly, it is out of range of the
base; move it nearer to the base.

4. SAFETY
In the event of danger, the mains adapter acts as 230V power isolating
device. It should therefore, as a precaution, be installed close to the
appliance and be easily accessible.
If the mains adapter fails, it must be replaced by an identical model.
We recommend that you unplug this device during electrical storms.
Clean the repeater with a slightly moist soft cloth only

5. WARRANTY
complies with requirements of the Australian Com-
munications Authority as certified by the A-Tick.
You are covered by a legal warranty for this product and for all informa-
tion concerning this warranty, please contact your reseller.
Notwithstanding other applicable statutory warranties, the reseller war-
rants that the product complies with the applicable technical specifications
and is free from any defect in workmanship and materials for a period of
twelve (12) months from the date of purchase shown on the invoice or
receipt. You should therefore keep your invoice or till receipt specifying
the date of purchase of the product and the name of the reseller.
Nonetheless, if the statutory warranty in force in your country exceeds
twelve (12) months, the statutory warranty in force in your country will
apply in lieu of the manufacturer's warranty.
The manufacturer undertakes to repair or replace at its option the defec-
tive product or part thereof with a comparable product or part or at least
equivalent as to the performances and functionality. The replacement pro-
duct or parts, which may be new or reconditioned, are warranted for a per-
iod expiring either simultaneously with the initial warranty of the concer-
ned product or part thereof or three (3) months after delivery of such
repaired product or part, which ever is later. Moreover, upon proof evi-
dence, the initial warranty period may be extended for the period you
have not been able to use the product due to the repair. All product or
parts that are replaced become the property of the manufacturer.
This warranty does not cover damage caused by:
Non-compliance with the instructions for use, installation or mainte-
nance of the product, in particular regarding the power supply and cli-
matic conditions.
Improper maintenance of energy sources and of the general electrical
installation.
Acts of vandalism, lightning, fire, humidity, bad weather.

Use of the product in combination with, or integration of the product
into, equipment not supplied by the reseller, unless such combination
or integration has been expressly approved in writing by the reseller.
Use of the product for a purpose other than that for which it is inten-
ded.
Faults and deterioration caused by normal wear and tear, a shock or a
fall.
Product malfunctioning due to external causes (e.g., radio-electric
interference produced by other equipment, variation in voltage of the
mains supply and/or telephone line).
Changes made to the product, including mandatory changes.
Product from or on which the brand or serial numbers have been
removed or altered.
Defects as a result of other goods and services being connected to the
product which disturb or affect the predicted level of service.
UNLESS OTHERWISE STIPULATED BY LAW, ANY AND ALL WAR-
RANTY PROVISION OTHER THAN THOSE MENTIONED HEREIN ARE
EXPRESSLY EXCLUDED.
