1.Locate and assemble the stands as photo shown. Use scissors to cut the foam tube and apply it on the front and rear panels. This can protect the bottom surface of the hull.3.Unscrewing two Hex Socket Screws as photo shown if you are going to remove the Power Unit Tray.If not then skip to Step 5 for battery connection.4.coupler so you can take the whole power unit out of the boat easily. Remember to apply Locktite on the set screws when securing the shaft. Remove the servo horn and set screws on the 2.Now you can place the Olympian on the stand. Remove the hatch cover.6.rotates counter-clockwise.Switch any two of wires of the brushless motor to the connector if it rotates clockwise.Trigger the radio slightly, make sure the propeller 5.3300~4500mAh Lipo Battery Packs in place and connect the wires properly. Use enclosed Velcro to secure the battery packs in place as shown. Always clear from the propeller when you connect the battery. Turn transmitter on first then connect the battery and disconnect the battery first and turn off the Transmitter at last. Refer to your radio manual for more details, This is a safety setup from the controller.Check the connectors are well connected,and route the wires properly.Sometime you will need to reverse the motor control. With transmitter on, install the suggested two 3S 7.boat in water. Always put the sleeve on when boat is off water and handle the model with care as the turn fins are very sharp that may cut your body.Remove the sleeve of water fin before placing the 4
Set Up
9.2.5 minutes(3300mAh) or 3.5minutes(4500mAh) at top speed of 50 mph. Always aware the running time and do not run too far from the shore at the last min as battery may out of power at any time. The Olympian can run at full power speed for about 11.to lubricate the drive shaft often.Remove the power unit tray and take out the shaft, It is recommanded to exam the shaft for every 5 runs. Clean and apply new grease is required.Replace the new plastic guide tube if it is worn out. Also, remove the setscrew from the strut then apply some grease inside the strut to lubricate the propeller shaft.As Olympian is a high speed racer,it is improtant 8.Suggest to run the boat at about 30 mph and check if there is any water flow out from the outlet at port and star board side. If not then drive back to the pier or shore immediately to exam the water cooling lines. The motor and speed controller will overheat and burn if water cooling is not working properly. Trim the boat and make sure the boat runs straight.Place the boat in water gently to test run the boat. 10.power as it is not good to run out of power then retrieve the boat from the pond or lake. Once out of power, do not be nervous and decide the shortest distance to the shore, the battery still has some power in it, you may stop the motor for couple seconds then run the boat again, it can move a short distance. You may repeat this for several times until the boat reach the shore. Always get the model back to the pier with the 5

Check the radio manual to familiar with the adjustment of the throttle and steering.Refer the figures in the prior page, squeeze the trigger on the transmitter to get the power and adjust the trim knob to ensure max speed, and neutral position. Propeller should stop at the neutral position.Also check on the steering and make sure it is correct as illustrated. Familiar with the steering trim as you will need to trim the rudder when running. Adjust the thrust angle might be necessary. The default setting of the thrust angle is 0-degree, where strut is level with the bottom hull. However, it might be necessary to adjust upon the following situation.Bow Up-Adjust the thrust angle to negative so it will Downward the bow.Bow Down-Adjust the thrust angle to positive so it will Upward the bow.You may need to balance the propeller, remove any flash on edge of the propeller then use quality propeller balancer ( not included) to do the balancing. Sharpen the leading edge of the propeller will help the performance and get less prop work to the right.BALANCING THE PROPELLER

PROPELLER THRUST ANGLEThe Olympian has two trim tabs at the transom. We suggest to do the all adjustment in calm water.Olympian is capable of running on wild water yet it need to adjust the trim tab downward or it might jump too high and cause a flip. The thrust angle and trim tab are related to each other, be patient and adjust your Olympian carefully for its peak performance. Factory setting is -1 degree at two trim tabs.Bow Up-Adjust the trim tab to negative so it will Downward the bow.Bow Down-Adjust the trim tab to positive so it will Upward the bow.TRIM TABCONGRATULATIONS!Now you are ready to test run your boat!RUNNING THE OLYMPIANLAUNCH PROCEDURE1.Refer to radio manual and always turn transmitter on first, receiver last. 2.Always stay clear from spinning propeller.3.Gently place the boat in at least 12”(30cm) deep water and free of obstacles (rocks, weeds, sticks, muskrats, ducks, etc.). 4.Watch out the spinning prop and water fins during the launch.5.Disconnect the battery wires then turn off the transmitter power when finish the driving.MORE RUNNING TIPS!Besides the “Safety Precautions” at the beginning of this manual, we recommend you read thoroughly the following valuable tips that will help you enjoy the boating of Olympian successfully and safely.Make sure the water cooling system is working properly or it will cause motor or speed controller overheated.Refer to motor manual to lubricate your motor periodically.Choose a windless day to run your Olympian as wind can cause rough water that will affect the performance.The running time of Olympian is about 3 minutes (depends on the battery quality and discharging rate). Always aware the running time and have the model back to the shore before running out of power.Check the lake and wind direction Choose a good location for boating. The wind can carry it back to the shore if engine is killed. It is a good way to retrieve the stalled or capsized model boat with a fishing rod that equips real. Tie a tennis ball on at least 12 lb. string.Do not run your Olympian on a flowing water like creeks or rivers as well as jump into the water or swim after a stalled or capsized boat! Always keep your model away from wildlife, do not intend to threaten with any wildlife with your Olympain. This is prohibited at any lake or pond.Happy Boating!o-1
