Initial setup steps
1. Locate the area in your building in which you
would like to setup the TI435 Amplifier.
2. Connect the amp to passive speakers via
speaker cable. At TIBO we recommend using
passive speakers from our Harmony or Legacy
range to get the best out of your Amplifier.

3. Insert the appropriate mains cable into the rear of
the Amp and turn on your power source.
4. Turn on the power switch at the rear of the Amp.
The ring around the central dial of the Amp should
light up a dim red colour. This means it is in standby
mode.
5. Press and hold the dial on the front panel of Amp
or press the power on button on the remote control
to turn on the Amp.
6. When turned on, you should hear the Amp say
“Power on” and it will also tell you which input mode
is currently activated.

• Line In mode
1. Whilst the TI435 is turned off, connect an RCA
cable to the Line In port on the rear panel and
the other end of the cable to your Android/iOS
device. This is to avoid speaker pop when the
TI435 is turned on.
2. Turn on the amp by pressing the power switch
on the rear panel. If performed correctly, amp
will respond by saying “Power on.” The amp
will then tell you what mode is currently
activated. E.g. Line In mode.
3. Short press the mode button on either the amp
itself or the remote control until the amp
responds saying “Line In mode”
4. You can now play music to the amp via your
source.
• Tuner mode
1. Whilst the TI435 is turned off, connect an RCA
cable to the Tuner port on the rear panel and
the other end of the cable to your DAB Tuner.
This is to avoid speaker pop when the TI435 is
turned on.
2. Turn on the amp by pressing the power switch
on the rear panel. If performed correctly, amp
will respond by saying “Power on.” The amp

will then tell you what mode is currently
activated. E.g. Line In mode.
3. Short press the mode button on either the amp
itself or the remote control until the amp
responds saying “Tuner mode.”
4. You can now play music to the amp via your
source.
• CD mode
1. Whilst the TI435 is turned off, connect an RCA
cable to the CD port on the rear panel and the
other end of the cable to your CD Player. This
is to avoid speaker pop when the TI435 is
turned on.
2. Turn on the amp by pressing the power switch
on the rear panel. If performed correctly, amp
will respond by saying “Power on.” The amp
will then tell you what mode is currently
activated. E.g. Line In mode.
3. Short press the mode button on either the amp
itself or the remote control until the amp
responds saying “CD mode.”
4. You can now play music to the amp via your
source.

• Optical mode
1. Whilst the TI435 is turned off, connect an
optical cable to the optical in port at the rear of
the amp and connect the other end of the
cable to a source with an optical output.
2. Turn on your amp and press the mode button
on either the amp itself or the remote control
until Optical mode is selected. The amp will
respond by saying “Optical mode.”
3. You can now play music to the amp via your
source.
• Phono mode
1. Whilst the Amp is turned off, connect an RCA
cable to the Phono in port at the rear of the
Amp and connect the other end of the cable to
a source with a Phono output such as a
turntable.
2. Turn on your Amp and press the mode button
on either the Amp or the remote control until
Amp replies saying “Phono mode.”
3. You can now play music to the Amp via your
source. E.g. turntable.
Note: The RCA Phono input is NOT a Phono pre-
amp phase for a turntable. So if you connect your
turntable to the Amp, make sure your turntable is
set to Line instead of Phono.

• Connecting a subwoofer
1. For this you will need an RCA to RCA cable.
This can be either a stereo or a mono RCA
lead.
2. If the subwoofer you’re using has a mono
input, use the mono RCA lead to connect.
3. If the subwoofer you’re using has a stereo
input, use the stereo RCA lead and connect
the white end to the TI435 and match the
opposite white and red ends with the
subwoofer.
