Starting a re
using the Wood Pack
Place Wood Pack
onto the cone and
light each corner.
As the bag burns the
wood pellets will spill
out. No need to stir.
Fire will fill the Fire Pit
within 5 minutes.
After approximately
30 minutes or as
flames die down, add
another Wood Pack
or firewood.
Light. Burn. Repeat.

Clean up
and care
Let the fire burn out
until completely cool.
Times will vary.
Remove ash pan
and properly
dispose of ash.
Cover and store

asked questions
Can I use firewood in the Fire Pit?
Yes. For best results use dry seasoned wood
that has been split and cut to a length of
16 inches or less.
Can I cook or roast marshmallows
over the Fire Pit?
Yes , if you follow all other instructions, warnings,
and good fire safety practices. If cooking over the
TIKI® Fire Pit and Wood Pack, wait until flames
die down and the wood pellets begin to form
glowing coals.
What is the center cone for?
The center cone is designed to create optimal
burning conditions for the TIKI® Brand Wood
Pack. Burning the Wood Pack without the cone
inserted will result in poor burn quality and burn
duration. It can be removed for cleaning or for
additional room when using larger wood logs.
What are the Wood Packs made of?
The patent pending TIKI® Brand Wood Pack is
made from wood pellets mixed with a starter
fluid and sealed in the easy light bag. The pellets
are made from sawdust that is sourced as a
by-product from a number of manufacturing
processes (lumber, window frames, hardwood
flooring, etc.). The result is an energy dense and
sustainable way to light your fire.
Do I need lighter fluid or newspaper to
start the Wood Pack?
No, simply light the bag in each corner to start
the fire.

Can I control the flame height?
The Wood Pack is designed to maintain a
full and consistent flame for approximately
30 minutes. If you desire more control over the
flame size you can use wood logs and add more
or less based on preference.
Why doesn’t the Wood Pack snap & crackle
like a traditional wood fire?
The irregularities in wood logs cause the
snapping and crackling. The wood pellets in a
Wood Pack do not contain the irregularities that
are found in wood logs.
How do I extinguish in an emergency?
Stand back at least 5 ft. and spray with a garden
hose to avoid hot steam and debris. Spray coals
continuously for 5 minutes or until coals have
cooled. Empty ash pan and thoroughly dry the
Fire Pit to prevent rust from forming. Refer to
the instruction manual for more information.
How do I clean out the ash from the bottom
of the Fire Pit?
Remove the center cone and carefully sweep ash
through bottom holes. Once all the ash has been
swept through the holes, remove the ash pan
and dispose of ash properly.
How often do I need to empty the ash
catcher pan?
The pan should be emptied after every use.
How do I clean the Fire Pit?
If soot or ash has accumulated on the outside of
the Fire Pit, wipe down with a damp cloth.
How long do I have to wait before I put the
cover on?
If using the TIKI® Brand Wood Pack, this should
take approximately 6-8 hours and is designed to
completely consume leaving minimal ash. If you
are using wood logs, times will vary depending
on the amount of wood used and consumed.
Be sure to clean out all ash to ensure there are
no embers left over before putting the cover on.

an adult.
• Flames may reach height of 3 ft. above the
top of the Fire Pit.
• DO NOT use this Fire Pit until you have
read the operating instructions and safety
warnings. Failure to do can cause death,
serious injury or property damage.
