HSIP2/Outdoor Camera
PC Security Settings
Setup Guide

Settings
To view the Settings, ensure the camera is online and then click on the
settings icon.
Alarm Settings:
1. Ensure motion detection is
turned ON to activate
motion detection. Use the
motion detection
sensitivity field to adjust
the sensitivity to your
preference.
2. Ensure audio detection is
turned ON to activate the
audio detection. Use the
audio detection
sensitivity field to adjust
the sensitivity to your preference.
3. To configure Alarm Pre-set Position Linkage click the dropdown
box and choose a pre-set position you would like the camera to
move too once the motion is detected (indoor camera only).
4. To configure the Alarm Mail Notification feature, toggle the setting
to ON for an email notification to be sent as soon as the motion is
triggered.
5. Activate the Upload Pictures Count to receive images once the
motion detection alarm has been triggered
6. Ensure the Alarm Video feature is turned ON for the camera to
record a compressed video onto the Micro SD card once the alarm
has been triggered.

Email Settings
1. Sender –Enter your email address
2. SMTP Server –Select the appropriate
SMTP server according to your email
address.
3. SMTP Port –This will automatically fill in
once the server has been selected.
4. Verifying –Please ensure this is always
ticked as some mail servers require
authentication to receive emails.
5. SMTP User –Please enter the SMTP
user (in most cases it is the first part of
your email address)
6. SMTP Password –Enter the password to your email address.
7. Receiver 1 –Enter the email address you would like the email
notification to go to.
8. Once the details have been entered correctly you will receive email
notifications once the motion is detected.
SD Card Settings
1. After inserting an SD card, you will be
required to format the SD card.
2. Click the format button, once formatted,
turn ON “Record Audio” and “Timer
Settings”.
User Settings:
The username and password for the
Operator and Administrator can be set
and changed by clicking on this tab.
Operator –Can access the camera but not the settings (family
members)
Administrator –Can access the camera and the security settings.

Pre-set Positions
1. To create a Pre –set position, click on
the camera to bring up the camera Live
Feed
2. Rotate the camera to the position you
would like a pre-set to be created.
3. Click the Pre-set Position to bring up the following window.
4. Click on Pre-set set and choose any
number displayed, creating a pre-set to
the position number you selected.
Device Time Setting
Set the date and time according to
your time zone or simply synchronise
to your PC.
Accessing your Recordings
1. Click on “Message” at the bottom right hand
corner of the screen.
2. Click on your camera on the left hand side then choose a “Period”
and an “Index”. Click “Query” and then the recordings will be
displayed.
