Introducon
Thank you for purchasing the TMG A-15, one of the most innovave and
sophiscated devices in its category today.
Please be sure to read this manual to familiarize yourself with the features
and operation of this product. Enjoy the trip and drive safely!
The TMG A-15 system is a Class 1M laser product. Never look at
the heads closely while powered on! We recommend the use of IR
laser protective eye wear when testing the system and/or when
using LIDAR guns.
Motorists are expected to exercise caution while using this
product, and to obey all applicable trac laws.
Check your State and local laws regarding usage. We encourage you to disable
the jamming function as soon as possible once you slow down. This can be done by
pressing the RCV button, front power button, or the RCV tab on the app.
“Test mode” is meant for laser jamming testing only. Using this system in full time
jamming mode could result in suspicion of jamming by the LIDAR operator.
Auto-sleep mode is enabled by default, and it is highly recommended to use the
Auto-kill feature to set the system to “Receive only mode” after 4 seconds.
The TMG A-15 system is designed for use with 12V power sources;
Using this system with a 24V power source will permanently
damage the CPU, and will void your 2 year warranty.

CHAPTER 1: Installaon
Make sure the heads are positioned approximately the same height as the
license plate and separated by at least 24 to 30 inches from each other.
Mounting the heads too close together can cause interference.
Use the included green bubble level tool to make sure the heads are
horizontally positioned, and are facing straight forward, and ensure all
mounting screws are tight.
When using a third head, install the head in the center of both heads,
below the car’s emblem or directly above the license plate.
The TMG A-15 is capable of supporting up to 8 heads total
with the use of optional splitters.
Make sure
transponders

straight forward.
Make sure the heads are
horizontally installed by using
the bubble level included in
the package.
Changing the Lens cover
Aer a year of use on the road, replace
the old lens cover with a new one. Use
a pin to pry open the old lens cover to
replace it.

Adjusting Volume
Press and hold the + and - buttons on the side of the controller to change the
voume setting (up to volume level 15).
Receive Only Mode
Press the RCV button to switch between Auto Sleep mode (4 second jamming
followed by 1 minute of Receive Only mode) and Receive Only mode (only alerts to
laser, and does not jam). Press RCV during an alert to immediately kill the jammers.
Auto/Quiet
Auto Sleep mode automatically stops jamming after 4 seconds (auto-JTK) followed
by a 1 minute warm-up period. Use caution during warm-up as all laser alerts will
be muted until the CPU announces “Auto Sleep mode off”.
Press the SLP/RPT button to report police to the server.
Press and hold for 1 second to enter Test Mode (warning light will be illuminated).
The RDT port is for radar detector integration, or other accessories. The side
PWR port can be used to power the unit with a 12v barrel connector (1.35 mm).
App Operation
1. Start the Laser Defender App. To begin pairing, press the Start/On button in the
app. The A-15 CPU needs to be powered on and nearby for connection.
DO NOT use the Bluetooth menu of the phone or tablet to pair the A-15 system.
2. Choose the BT MAC address starting with “1E:03” for Android system or “1E:04”
for iOS. If prompted for a password, enter “1234” or “0000”. It can take up to 15
seconds for the connection to be established.
3. Now you can hide the app, and only keep the pop-up. The app will automatically
disconnect and re-connect to the A-15 CPU when powered off and on. To bring
the interface back, press the pop-up.
4. The CPU can automatically report to the server when it receives laser signals. If
you keep the app open, you can manually report a few different types of spots. If
you manually report from the CPU (by long pressing SLP/RPT button), the system
will report a police spot. Any report will be kept on the server for 3 hours.
5. Map view and instructions are in the upper right corner.
Algorithm Update (Must have Internet access)
1. Make sure the App is connected to the TMG system via Bluetooth, otherwise
follow steps 1 and 2 above.
