Towing
•Checkwithyourlocalcountyorstatesafetytowing
regulations,inadditiontomeetingDepartmentof
Transportation(DOT)SafetyTowingRegulations,before
towingthedebrisblower.
•Inordertoreducethepossibilityofanaccidentwhile
transportingthedebrisbloweronpublicroads,always
makesurethetowingvehicleismechanicallysoundand
ingoodoperatingcondition.
•Alwaysshutdownenginebeforetransporting.
•Alwaysinspectthehitchandcouplingforwear.Never
towthedebrisblowerwithdefectivehitches,couplings,
chains,etc.
•Checkthetireairpressureonbothtowingvehicleand
debrisblower.Thedebrisblowertiresshouldbeinated
to241kpa(35psi)cold.Also,checkthetiretreadwear
onthevehicleanddebrisblower.
•Alwaysproperlyattachdebrisblower’ssafetychainsto
towingvehicle.
•Alwaysmakesurethatthetowingvehicle'sdirectional,
backup,andbrakelightsareworkingproperly.
•Donottowthemachinefasterthan88km/h(55mph).
Recommendedoff-roadtowingisnottoexceed24km/h
(15mph)orlessdependingonthetypeofterrain.
•Avoidsuddenstopsandstarts.Thiscancauseskidding,
orjackkning.Smooth,gradualstartsandstopswill
improvetowing.

•Theenginemustbeshutoffbeforecheckingtheoilor

•Keephandsandfeetawayfrommovingparts.Ifpossible,
donotmakeadjustmentswiththeenginerunning.
•Chargebatteriesinanopenwellventilatedarea,away
fromsparkandames.Unplugchargerbeforeconnecting
