1.Parkthemachineonalevelsurface.
2.Disengagetheblade-controlswitch.
3.Movethemotion-controlleversoutwardtotheNEUTRAL-LOCKposition.
4.Engagetheparkingbrake.
5.Shutofftheengineandremovethekey.
6.Allowthemachinetocoolbeforeadjusting,servicing,cleaning,orstoringit.
7.Disconnectthenegativebatterycable;refertotheOperator’sManual.

RemovingtheSeat
Assembly
1.Slidetheseatfullyforward,thenrotatetheseat
upward.
2.Disconnecttheseatwireharnessfromthemain
machinewireharness.
3.Removethecabletiesecuringtheseatwire
harnesstotheseat-mountframe.
4.Lowertheseat.
5.Removethe4seat-isolatornutsandremovethe
seatfromtheframe(Figure1).
Retainthefasteners.

3.Turntheseat-supportplateover,sothatthe
bottomsideisfacingupward.
4.Ensurethattheheatshieldisorientedcorrectly
(Figure3),thenplacetheheatshieldontopof
theseat-supportplateandalignitwiththedrilled
hole.
5.Markthethreeremainingholelocationsonthe
heatshieldontotheseat-supportplate.
6.Removetheheatshield.
7.Drillthethreeholes(7mmor9/32inch)intothe
seat-supportplate.

10.Connecttheseatwireharnesstothemain
machinewireharness,andsecuretheharness
usingcabletiesawayfromanymovingparts.
