• Direct Digital Solution- Toshiba's unique Direct Digital
Solution sends the DVD video information to the LCD driver
directly from MPEG decoder in original digital form, bypass-
ing unnecessary digital-to-analog conversion steps,
delivering the best picture quality.
• JPEG Viewer - Enables the display of digital photographs
captured in the JPEG format. Simply load the CD with your
favorite photos and create custom slide shows with a few
simple clicks of the player's remote control.

• WMA & MP3 Playback - Recordable Compact Discs (CD-R
& CD-RW) with music stored in either the Windows Media™
Audio or MP3 file formats can be enjoyed.
• 3-D Virtual Surround Sound - Provides a simulated
surround sound effect from sources that contain only a
stereo soundtrack. Convenient when playing older DVD films
or for use with home theaters not equipped with multi-
channel playback compatibility.

• AC/DC Operation - Take your player on the road and use
the car's cigarette lighter to power endless hours of movies
and music.
• Optional Battery Pack - For true mobility applications, the
SD-P5000 has the ability to add an optional lithium ion
battery pack, providing over 2.5 hours of playback with only
a 4-hour charging time.
• Digital Picture Zoom - This interactive DVD feature allows
you to select an area of the picture you want to zoom in on
and magnify it. Enhanced digital processing during moving
video or freeze-frame playback produces superior color
fidelity and resolution, even when you're zoomed in. Also
can be used to expand letterbox-only films to increase the
viewable area on-screen.
• VESA Compliant Bracket Holes - Designed for tabletop
or wall mounting applications, the SD-P5000 has VESA
compatible mounting holes in the 100mm design format.
• Multi-Language On-Screen Display - Allows viewers to
read menu selections in four different languages (English,
French, and Spanish) to ensure user-friendly programming.
