Vertical Rotisserie Grill
1912 Midland Metal Spinners was founded by
George Cadman, who was then 65 years old,
as a metal holloware manufacturing company,
in St. Mark’s Street, Wolverhampton. They
later moved into the Tower and Fort Works in
Pelham Street, which ultimately gave rise to
the famous Tower brand name.
1937 Tower exhibited some of their latest holloware
designs at the British Industries Fair. As you can see
from the original poster, their stand No. A410 must
have been a great sight as it promoted their
“Beautiful, inexpensive, untarnishable Plate, at prices
all can afford to pay”.
1961 Tower became one of the largest
manufacturers of aluminium holloware, electric
kettles, tea pots and other household articles
with over 1,000 employees.
1974 Russell Hobbs took ownership of the
expanding Tower brand.
Healthier, Easier & Cheaper
The Tower Vertical Rotisserie Grill is great for those
looking to put an alternative twist on the traditional
Sunday roast, ideal for chicken and also perfect for
kebabs. Versatile and fuss free, the rotating vertical
rotisserie grill has even heat distribution to ensure
your culinary creations are cooked to perfection. The
direct heat from the rotisserie grill stops your food
from drying out. With the vertical rotisserie, when
you’re cooking meat it’s basted in its own delicious
juices. There’s no thermostatic control for you to
worry about, simply set the timer and the grill will
optimise the temperature to cook your food to
perfection.

3 USING YOUR APPLIANCE
Before first use:
1. Read all instructions in this manual carefully.
The information included in this Manual will
guide you through the versatility of your grill.
2. Place your grill on a level surface such as
a counter top or table. Be sure the sides,
back and top of the grill are at least four
inches away from any walls, cabinets or
objects on the counter or table.
3. Remove all stickers from the grill.
Remove drip pan, rotisserie spit, forks
and kebabs and wash them in warm,
soapy water or in the dishwasher. Dry
thoroughly before placing in the oven.
4. The door handle is removable, in order to
let you take it out and clean the inside of
unit. Before you use the oven, please
assemble the handle yourself by clipping
onto the fixing plates on the glass door.
5. Dispose of packaging in a
responsible manner.
6. It’s a good idea to keep the outer
box for storage purposes.
Functionality:
1. When you are ready to use the grill,
be sure that the TIMER Control is in
the “Off” position and unplugged.
2. We recommend a trial run to familiarise
yourself with your grill and to eliminate any
problem substance or oil that may have
been used for packaging and shipping.
3. Plug the cord Into a 220-240 volt AC outlet.
4. Set the TIMER control to 20 minutes.
A small amount of smoke and odour
may be detected. This is normal.
5. To avoid scratching, marring, discolouration
or fire hazard, do not store anything on top
of the oven, especially during operation.

Cooking with the Rotisserie set accessories.

you tighten the screws so that the
bird is secured top and bottom.

Cooking guidelines:
•Ensure all meat, fish and poultry is
thoroughly defrosted before cooking.
•Have all foods at room temperature
before adding to the rotisserie.
•Cooking times vary according to size,
shape and thickness of the food. Checking
the food during cooking is recommended.
•Using a meat thermometer helps to
ensure your food is cooked thoroughly.
•Choose roasts with an even shape
for best results in the rotisserie.
•For any meat that is cut into pieces
–diced chicken, sausages, pork
chops –it is recommended to cook
using the kebab skewers.
•If you want to marinate your meat, do so
before adding your meat to the rotisserie.
Tips:
To add flavour and help keep your meat moist
try pouring ½ to 1 inch of wine or beer into the
drip pan before cooking. An inch of water in
the drip pan with some added herbs, citrus, or
even juice (such as pineapple for ham) can
add great flavours to your cooking.
Mix your favourite herbs with olive oil or melted
butter for basting fish, meat or poultry. Apply
during the last 10 –20 minutes of cooking time.
Allow your meat to cool for 10 –20 minutes
after removing it from the grill. This allows all
the juice to redistribute and soak into the
meat. This gives you tender, flavourful meat.

Recipes for your
Vertical Rotisserie Grill
With the Tower Vertical Rotisserie Grill,
you can make a juicy roast chicken or
other meat, with little effort.
The vertical rotisserie is designed to roast meat
so it bastes in its own juices that is to say,
vertically! The fat drains down into a removable
drip tray for healthier-than-oven roasting.
Because you’re roasting the meats yourself,
you can buy a tastier chicken, control the
amount of salt and use the exact herbs
and seasoning you’re in the mood for.
