HYPERTHERMIA
Prolonged immersion in hot water may cause
hyperthermia, a dangerous condition that
occurs when the internal temperature of the
body exceeds the normal value (37°C).
The rst symptoms of hyperthermia include dizziness,
fainting, drowsiness, lethargy and a body temperature
higher than 37°C.
The physical effects of hyperthermia include
unawareness of impending hazard, failure to perceive
heat, physical inability to exit the minipool, foetal
damage in pregnant women and unconsciousness
resulting in a danger of drowning.
The use of alcohol, drugs or medication can
greatly increase the risk of fatal hyperthermia
in hot minipools.
If you suspect hyperthermia pull the person out of the
minipool and immediately call for medical assistance.
While awaiting assistance, take the person to a cool
place and let him or her to lie on his or her back with
the head slightly raised by a pillow.
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS FOR

Use
1BEFORE USING THE
MINIPOOL...
Read these chapters before using your new minipool.
They will provide you with useful tips to use it safely with
maximum benet.
USE ADVICE
• When using the minipool, do NOT wear loose clothing,
pendant jewellery and tie up long hair to avoid the risk
of becoming caught in moving parts.
• The time in the minipool should never exceed 20
minutes.
• Use the whirlpool at most three times per week.
• Inside the minipool DO NOT use foaming detergents,
soaps, bath oils, greasy lotions or products that are not
compatible with the minipool.
• Before entering the minipool take a shower to remove
any fatty substances (e.g., sweat, suntan lotion, etc.)
that could make the water cloudy and oily.
• The paving around the minipool may become very
slippery. Be careful when entering or exiting the water.
TIME IN THE WATER
For a relaxing experience the ideal water temperature
is about 33-37°C for a duration of about 20 minutes. In
fact, a temperature equal to that of the body fosters
vasodilation and muscle relaxation.
For an energising experience, soak for about 10 minutes,
preferably in the morning, at about 33°C.
For a draining experience, use the whirlpool for 5-8
minutes at a maximum of 35°-37°C. After leaving the
minipool relax for a few minutes to allow the pressure
altered by the heat and massage to return to normal.

CHROMATHERAPY
Light is made up of seven basic colours: red, orange,
yellow, green, blue, indigo and violet. The classic
example of the colour spectrum that we nd in nature
is the rainbow.
The Egyptians, Greeks and Romans practised helio-
therapy (exposure to direct sunlight) for the treatment
of various disorders.
In India, ayurvedic medicine has always taken into
account how colours affect the balance of the Chakras
and how they can help the body and psyche to restore
their natural balance.
Red: dissipates the deepest fears and maintains the
person well anchored to the present and to the solidity
of the earth.
Orange: stimulates feminine creativity, optimism and
serenity.
Yellow: brings out emotions and desires, personal power
and the ability to perceive the qualities and feelings of
others.
Green: reawakens love and openness towards others,
selessness, inner goodness.
Blue: promotes the ability to listen to others. It is related to
the expression of one's personality, creativity, imagination,
relaxation.
Indigo: has the ability to broaden our understanding
and treat disorders that affect sensory organs like eyes,
nose and ears.
Violet: cool colour that promotes spirituality, inspiration
and imagination.

2MINIPOOL FUNCTIONS
The minipool must ALWAYS remain connected to the electrical grid: this is necessary for ltering and maintaining
the minipool’s water temperature.
ALWAYS cover the minipool when inactive. This protects it from the sun’s rays, prevents dirt from accumulating
inside the bathtub and keeps it from losing heat, thus optimising the efciency of the heater.

MIXING FUNCTION
Treesse minipools feature an automatic mixing
function during which the whirlpool and
blower pumps are activated.
This process is used to mix the water in the
bathtub to have a more effective ltering action.
DRAIN AND SUCTION PUMPS
The minipool drain is positioned on the bottom, hidden
by the nishing plate.
This solution makes the use of the bathtub safer and
more comfortable.
To clean the drainage grate, just manually remove the
nishing plate since it is simply resting on the bottom.
For this operation see page 14.

BLOWER AND WHIRLPOOL
The whirlpool has a very positive effect on disorders like insomnia and anxiety. It also facilitates muscle relaxation
and is therefore great after sports. It increases blood ow and helps to lower blood pressure. It also exerts a
lymphodraining action contributing to the elimination of imperfections like cellulite, also thanks to its massaging
action. It provides numerous benets by stimulating blood and lymphatic circulation. The water temperature
is very important: water at 37-38°C is relaxing and promotes circulation, while the cooler temperatures have a
toning and stimulating effect and can increase blood pressure.
The whirlpool also promotes mental harmony, relaxation and physical well-being.

(alarm)
ER
Problem description: a temperature sensor measures the water
temperature inside the minipool, activating the heater when necessary.
The allowed water temperatures range from 5°C to 45°C. Values outside
the range cause the blocking of all functions and the permanent activation
of the alarm message.
Solutions:
the alarm will reset automatically once the temperature
returns to allowed values (5° to 45°). The message is also displayed if
the temperature sensor malfunctions.
Solutions
: make sure that the water temperature is not outside of the
permitted values, try to disconnect the power supply to the bathtub
and switch it on again after 30 seconds. If the problem persists, verify
that the connection with the control unit is correct and has not been
tampered with. Otherwise contact the Manufacturer.
FLOW ALARMS
Flow alarms keep the heater from operating in potentially hazardous conditions. Upon activation of the recirculation
pump, the ow switch must signal the presence of ow within ve seconds.
There are two types of alarms related to ow: no ow or ow switch failure:
No ow alarm
(notication) FL
Problem description: When the recirculation is active but the ow
switch does not detect ow for ve continuous seconds, the heater is
disabled, the recirculation pump remains active for ve minutes, after
which it switches off, the display shows the message "FL" alternating

Water leaks
Some component is probably not fully
tightened or the seals are worn.
Check the tightness or replace the
seals.
The water of the minipool does not
become clear
Most likely the pH of the water supply
is incorrect and so algae grows.

Water treatment
INTRODUCTION
Minipool water that is always clean and clear, but above all bacteriologically pure and free of algae, guarantees
safety and comfort for users and offers the pleasure of a safe, relaxing bath.
The pool water must always be disinfected and disinfectant and have a residual disinfectant content ready to eliminate
any new contaminants that may be brought into the bathtub by people or the environment.
The Manufacturer recommends the use of its products as they have been tested and found to be compatible with
the minipool. The use of different products may cause damage to surfaces over time that is not covered under
warranty.
The best disinfectant is bromine, as it is heat resistant. The product comes in 20 g slow-release tablets. It performs its
maximum sanitising action in water with a pH valuebetween 7.4 and 7.8. The use of bromine is combined with ZERO
PROBLEM antialgae and OXIGEN ATTIVO GR granular oxygen. Oxygen has its own disinfecting power and serves
to reactivate bromine when the active disinfecting bromine is transformed into combined bromine. Furthermore, the
natural increase in water pH is inhibited.
It is always important to use high quality specic products and to check chemical parameters, in particular the pH
and the level of disinfectant. There are specic kits for measuring these parameters.
In addition to chemical products, it is necessary to remember that the bottom and sides of the bathtub should be
thoroughly brushed and the ltration system left running for an adequate number of hours per day to allow the
removal of suspended water pollutants.
Two simple but fundamental operations should be carried out on a regular basis:
1Check the fundamental water parameters (pH, hardness, alkalinity) - page 19
If the three parameters are not perfectly balanced, larger quantities of additives and disinfectants may be needed
followed by maintenance.
For example, an excessively alkaline water makes it difcult to keep the pH stable. In turn, an unstable pH fosters
the formation of algae and therefore requires the use of algaecides in quantities higher than normal.
These parameters are measured by using test strips that are easily found in specialised shops. If necessary, it is
possible to use specic products to bring them back to optimal values.
2Disinfection and water cleaning - page 23
A very important operation for the hygienic and user comfort: products are added to the water that can eliminate
bacteria and fungi (disinfectants like oxygen or bromine) and make it more clear and crystalline (additives like
algaecides, anti-foam, occulants, etc.). Water should be checked periodically to see if the concentration of
disinfectants and additives is sufcient to guarantee their effectiveness.
These two operations must be done very frequently, taking into account the more or less intensive use of the
minipool, the number of users and the quality of the water used. Other actions, like the emptying of the minipool,
are occasional and should be done only when needed.
It is recommended to have your minipool checked at least 1-2 times per year (for example at the end and
beginning of the season for outdoor installations) by contacting the Manufacturer's service centres. This will
guarantee excellent performance and durability over time, especially in the case of very intensive use.
The suggestions on the following pages only cover some general aspects. If there are problems or special needs,
contact the manufacturer for suggestions.

Below is a table that summarises all the activities necessary for proper maintenance. Those in blue should be carried
out frequently.

page 19
Why check: Minipool water that is always clean and clear, but above all
bacteriologically pure and free of algae, guarantees safety and comfort
for users and offers the pleasure of a safe, relaxing bath.
How often: the minipool water (both its basic parameters and the
concentration of disinfectants and additives) should be checked 1 -
2times a week under normal conditions of use (e.g., family use) or
daily if the minipool is used intensively (e.g., wellness centres) or if
it is installed outdoors. In this latter case, check the water especially
after intense rain.
Which products to use: reactive strips or tablets, liquid reagents
or instruments for measuring the parameters are readily available in
specialised shops.
For a disinfectant, the Manufacturer recommends its products (bromine
- 20 g slow-release tablets - combined with the use of ZERO PROBLEM
antialgae and OXIGEN ATTIVO GR granular oxygen).
If algae has already developed in the bathtub, the problem should
be solved as soon as possible, emptying the minipool, brushing the
walls and bottom of the bathtub thoroughly and performing a shock
treatment with liquid oxygen (OXI BLU).

CLEANING/REPLACING THE
PAPER FILTER 3
page 27
Why check: the paper lter is a cylinder-shaped cartridge, mainly
consisting of cellulose and polyamide.
The water in the minipool enters the lter through a hole and comes
out from another, ltered and cleaned thanks to the cartridge within,
capable of retaining even very ne dust.
How often: Cleaning/replacing the paper lter depends on how often
the minipool is used. In general, rinse the cartridge every 2-3 weeks
and replace it with every change of water.
Which products to use: for cleaning just remove the cartridge from
the lter and wash it with a jet of clean water to remove hair and other
foreign substances. For a deeper cleaning, leave the cartridge immersed
in a solution suitable for cleaning this type of lter, possibly overnight.
In any case refer to the instructions provided by the manufacturer of
the cleaning product used.

page 29
How often and which products to use: the frequency of this operation
depends on many factors, for example more or less intensive use,
outdoor or indoor installation, water quality, etc.
In general it is good practice to empty the bathtub every 30 days by
performing an energetic disinfection of the pipes, using the products
contained in the SPA CLEANING KIT.
CLEANING THE SURFACES 6
page 31
How often and which products to use: cleaning the bathtub is an
important operation that should be carried out frequently (at least
twice a week), by brushing the walls and the bottom of the bathtub.
It is also essential to sterilise the pipes and the recirculation system,
an operation that can be easily carried out before emptying the pool
with the products contained in the SPA CLEANING KIT.
The Manufacturer recommends the use of its products as they have
been tested and found to be compatible with the minipool. The use
of different products may cause damage to surfaces over time that
is not covered under warranty.
