TremSafe Ladder Door System
17) For ladders with alarge space between the ladder and the TremSafe Ladder
Door System:
a) Align the padlock bracket slot with the hole in the ladder door furthest away from the
ladder rung.
b) Hold the padlock bracket in place and open the ladder door and mark the drill holes.
c) Remove the padlock bracket and drill the padlock bracket holes.
d) Place the hex bolts through the padlock bracket and bracket spacer into the ladder rail.
e) Place the washers onto the bolts.
f) Thread the nylock nuts onto the hex bolts and secure the padlock bracket onto the
ladder rail.
g) Close the ladder door system and check closed alignment. Makeadjustments if
necessary to ensure the padlock will smoothly pass through the ladder door and padlock
Annual Inspection Procedure
•Check for any loose or missing fasteners. Tighten or replace as necessary.
•If door door is bent or damaged, replace.
