WARNING: ONLY USE SLIDER SOFT LITE-BALLS IN THE STARTING PITCHER MACHINE
The Starting Pitcher Lite-Ball Pitching Machine only uses Slider Soft Lite-Balls. If you put real baseballs the
Starting Pitcher Lite-Ball Machine you will damage the machine and void the Starting Pitcher warranty. Trend
Sports recommends only using official Slider Soft Lite-Balls in your Starting Pitcher Lite-Ball Pitching Machine.
These balls are incredibly accurate, long lasting, and produce the best performance in the machine.

• Please be sure to read all of the instructions before using the Starting Pitcher Lite-Ball
Pitching Machine to insure the machine is working properly.
• Parents: Your child should be made aware of the potential dangers of using the
Starting Pitcher Lite-Ball Pitching Machine.
• Never put your fingers into the Starting Pitcher Lite-Ball Pitching Machine.
• The Starting Pitcher is not a toy and an adult should supervise children. It is very important
the batter makes sure the area is clear before swinging a bat.
• Stay clear of the ball opening while the Starting Pitcher is operating. Although the balls are
very light, they may cause eye damage or other injury may occur.
Children must be advised of this danger and appropriate precautions should be taken.
• DO NOT use any type of ball other than Slider Soft Lite-Balls in this machine.
• Always use a NOCSE approved batting helmet when batting.
• DO NOT LOOK INTO THE FRONT OF THE MACHINE WHILE THE STARTING PITCHER IS RUNNING.
Occasionally a ball may get stuck in the machine. The ball may pause and then shoot out and cause
eye injury. If the ball gets stuck, turn off the machine immediately. You should be able to remove the
ball easily by tilting the Starting Pitcher backwards to eject the ball.
• Never operate in water or moisture.
• Always store in a dry area.

STEP 1: Extend Parts (A & B).
STEP 2: Extend Part (C).
Lock each section into place with the push-pin buttons
Part (C) has multiple push-pin holes to adjust the tilt of the machine.

STEP 7: Slide Housing (K)
onto Tri-Pod Base (F) and
align mounting hole of
Housing (K) and mounting
hole of Tri-Pod Base (F).
Housing (K) should
be assembled in back
of Tri-Pod Base (F).

STEP 8: Slide Carriage Bolt (J)
through mounting hole
in Tri-Pod Base (F) and
then through hole in
Housing (K). Then slide
Metal Washer (I) and Teeth Washer (H)
onto Carriage Bolt (J). Screw Knob (G)
onto Carriage Bolt (J) and tighten.

WARNING!
ROTATING THE HEAD OF THE STARTING PITCHER FROM FAST BALL TO CURVE BALL POSITIONS
CHANGES THE DIRECTION AND TRAJECTORY OF THE PITCHED BALL. MAKE SURE NO PERSONS ARE IN
FRONT OF MACHINE WHILE ADJUSTING FOR FAST BALL OR CURVE BALL PITCHES.
Fast Ball/Curve Ball Instructions
Fast ball Position
CAUTION:
When machine is rotated for different pitch types, the ball direction changes dramatically.
Make sure no persons are in front of machine until machine is aimed properly
and pitching accurately at desired target.

Ball Pitch Adjustment: Loosen the
Ball Pitch Adjusment Knob where
the tripod head and machine hous-
ing connect. Tilt the housing right
or left for curve ball pitches.

Ball Feeder Adjustment: Loosen
the Ball Feeder Knob to swivle the
ball feeder to an upright position
when pitching curve balls.
WARNING
When machine is pivoted for different pitch types, the pitch
direction can move left or right by up to 30 feet. Use extreme
caution when changing between pitch types. Never change
pitch types with any person in front of machine.
