The TUNEMASTER is designed to be very easy to use. When
you want to tune, hit the footswitch and the signal is muted.
The small on/o LED tells you that the tuner is now active.
Play any note and the TUNEMASTER will display the name
of the note, and indicate whether the note is at (left side
arrows) or sharp (right side arrows). The dot in the upper-
left corner of the display indicates that the note is raised
one semitone (G#, D#, A#, etc.). Once the note is in tune, the
whole display will light up in green. To go back to playing,
hit the footswitch and the on/o LED will go o.
on your purchase of the TUNEMASTER, a premium guitar/
bass tuner from T-Rex Eects.
Your TUNEMASTER is a true bypass chromatic tuner, which
allows you to tune your instrument silently, with the option
of using it as a buer/line driver. The big note display, clear
“in-tune” indication and super simple operation makes tun-
ing your instrument a breeze. It also features specially de-
signed circuitry that cuts tuning noise down to an absolute
minimum.
Congratulations TUNEMASTER in use
gain at minimum to 10 dB´s of signal boost at maximum.
Not only does this buer your signal to avoid treble-loss,
but it also gives you the ability to boost the overall signal
level, compensating for long cables and/or signal losses
from running a lot of pedals. You can also use it as a pick-up
booster, if you need a little more output from your instru-
ment.
Try setting the “beef” control at minimum and listen to the
sound when using either bypass conguration. Depending
on your setup, you may hear a clearer, more open sound
when using the buered bypass. Then adjust the “beef”
knob to taste.
The TUNEMASTER can be used in true bypass or in buered
bypass mode. The toggle switch between the in/out jacks
should be set to the right for true bypass and to the left for
buered bypass.
The true bypass routes the input signal directly to the output.
In essence, when you are not tuning, it is as if the TUNEMAS-
TER isn´t even there.
The buered bypass lets you use the TUNEMASTER as a line
driver with an adjustable output level, called the “beef” con-
trol. In this conguration, the “beef” control goes from unity
