must be removed and kept in a safe place, inaccessible for other persons!
Caution by raising and lowering the scrubbing unit, possibility of injuries,
crushing or scrapping.
Never touch the rotating brushes with hands or feet.
When maintenance has to be performed on the hydraulic system, it must be
relieved from pressure.
Relieve all hydraulic couplings before installing the scrubber!
Note: Brush drive is automatically switched off when the scrubber is raised, the brush only
works when its lowered!
The information left and right are always seen in the direction of travel
The scrubbing unit is only to be used for the cleaning of street surfaces, parking
places, underground garages and other solid surfaces
The unit must not be used for picking up material that are explosive, inflammable or
which may constitute a health hazard!
The water system can only be used with pure water or an environmental compatible
mixture of detergent (chemicals).
Any alterations to the construction of the unit can only performed after they have been
authorized by the manufacturer.

Operation in Scrubbing Mode
Operation Panel
Start scrubbing
Start the operation of the machine in the same way as with mounted sweeping unit
Lower the scrubbing unit by pressing the corresponding button. Raise the vehicle
speed to the desired suction power (standard speed, fan speed approx. position 5).
See original Citymaster manual

•Switch on the scrub brushes on the scrubber control panel.
Note: The brush speed is set and should not be adjusted. If absolutely necessary, the
speed can be adjusted by adjusting the line throttle.
Switch on the water supply to level 1 and regulate the volume regulator on the
Citymaster control unit to fully open (depending on water requirement). The water
pump on the scrubber is not required for fresh water supply, only for dirty water
operation. Dirt water operation is only possible if enough water has accumulated in the
container or water has been pre-filled in the dirt container (see original Citymaster
operation chapter 3.4.6.)
Note: Water pumps will not shut off automatically when reversing or lifting the brushes.
Note: When driving backwards, always lift the unit!

Use waste water system
Use waste water only if there has been enough waste water accumulated in the hopper, or
pre-filled.
Waste water can be used both with and without chemical admixture.
•Switch vehicle into working mode (waste water valve opens)
•Switch on the fresh water pump in the vehicle, also switch on the waste water pump
on the scrubber control panel and regulate full pump speed.
•Switch the 3-way tap on the front to dirty water.
•Now switch off the fresh water pump in the vehicle and check (visual inspection of the
hoses) if dirty water flows in, otherwise repeat the procedure.
•Adjust the water pump speed to the desired amount.
Note: If the unit is raised, the water pump must be switched off!

General Information
Caution: The scrubbing brushes and suction hood must be lifted under all
circumstances when driving over very uneven road surfaces and kerbstones!
•Scrub brushes and suction unit can be raised and lowered separately. Because of this
a individual brushing in detergent or sucking off without brushing is possible!
•After stopping the vehicle, regularly check the level of waste in the hopper and the
water level in the water tank by help of the water level gauge.
•Note: If the spray nozzles begin to spray irregularly during sweeping, the water tank is
empty. Immediately stop working then and switch off the water pump. Working without
water raises excessive dust, this can cause a clogging of the suction hose and
increases the wear of the suction fan.
! Caution !
When the maximum permissible axle load has been reached, immediately stop
sweeping. The hopper must be emptied before any further sweeping can be
performed.
Reverse drive or stopping
the
Operation Procedure
1. Switch off the scrubbing brushes.
2. Switch off the waterpump, also the waste water.
3. Lift the unit or raise it before engaging the reverse gear.
4. Lower vehicle speed or change driving mode.
The vehicle can now be driven to the next working site or when the hopper is full to
the dumping site.

Maintenance
Attention! When performing maintenance on the scrubbing unit, the vehicle ignition
key must be removed and kept in a safe place, inaccessible for other persons
During maintenance or adjustment work, unauthorized commissioning must never be
possible!
Setting support essential when working under the lifted unit!
Daily inspection of dirty water filters and brush wear as well as adjustment and wear of
the sealing strips on the suction mouth!
• Open and clean both dirty water filters daily. (Picture shown without mounted upper cover)
- Replace the clean filter into the holder
- Carefully screw the filter holder into place, ensure that the seal is not damaged
when the holder is screwed back.
•The suction mouth sealing strip at the rear is ground contacting. In order to increase
the ground clearance of the front suctionmouth-sealing strip, the rear sealing strip can
be adjusted downwards (slots behind the cover strips)
In the case of coarse wear, incorrect adjustment or cracks and holes, replace the sealing
strips immediately, otherwise the suction power reduces.
-Turn the trailing wheels down until the desired height on the front sealing strips is
reached.
-Loosen the rear cover strips and push the rubber strips downwards until they touch the
ground.
-Tighten the cover strips again.

• The sealing strip at the front of the suction hood has approx. 10 ... 15 mm ground
clearance. Setting, as described, about the height of the trailing wheels.
