Description
The TROVIS5724-x Electric Actuators with Process Controllers
are a combination of an electric actuator and an integrated
digital controller with two PID control modules. 14 ready-to-
use congurations (system code numbers) allow a wide variety
of control tasks to be implemented for heating and cooling
applications (see table below).

Mounting position
The electric control valve can be mounted in the pipeline in
any desired position. However, the actuator must not be
installed in a suspended position.
Start-up
1. Realign the scale for travel indication when a three-way
mixing valve is used.
No action needs to be taken when a globe valve or a
three-way diverting valve is used.
2. Install the valve in the pipeline.
3. Mount the actuator on the valve.
4. Install the ready-wired sensors.
5. Connect the actuator to the power supply (230V, 50Hz)
and start initialization.
6. Congure the actuator over the TROVIS-VIEW software.
Detailed information on TROVIS-VIEW can be found in
the menu [? > Operating Instructions TROVIS-VIEW].
The electric actuator with process controller is ready for
use and can be operated on site.
Readings and operation
The readings and operation depend on how the device has
been congured. Check the applicable parameter settings to
obtain an overview of the activated readings and possible
functions.
The reading on the display depends on A3.1 parameter.
