Tools with double insulation and reinforced insulation are built with a
polarized plug (one prong is wider than the other) This plug fits in any polarized outlet
and can only be connected one way. If the plug does not fit completely into the outlet,
reverse the plug. If it is not fitting, call a qualified electrician or install a polarized outlet.
Do not alter the plug in any way. Double insulation eliminates the need of a three-prong
grounded power plug or a grounded electric system.
When using an extension cable, make it has sufficient gauge to
carry the current your tool will draw. A lower gauge cable will cause voltage drop in the line, resulting in power loss and
the motor will overheat. The following table shows the right size to use depending on cable’s length and the ampere
capability shown in the tool’s nameplate. When in doubt use the next higher gauge.

Work area
Keep your work area clean, and well lit.
Cluttered and dark areas may cause accidents.
Never use the tool in explosive atmospheres, such as in the
presence of flammable liquids, gases or dust.
Sparks generated by power tools may ignite the flammable material.
Keep children and bystanders at a safe distance while operating
the tool.
Distractions may cause loosing control.
Electrical Safety
The tool plug must match the power outlet. Never modify
the plug in any way. Do not use any adapter plugs with
grounded power tools.
Modified plugs and different power outlets increase the risk of electric shock.
Avoid body contact with grounded surfaces, such as pipes,
radiators, electric ranges and refrigerators.
The risk of electric shock increases if your body is grounded.
Do not expose the tool to rain or wet conditions.
Water entering into the tool increases the risk of electric shock.
Do not force the cord. Never use the cord to carry, lift or unplug
the tool. Keep the cord away from heat, oil, sharp edges or
moving parts.
Damaged or entangled cords increase the risk of electric shock.
When operating a tool outdoors, use an extension cord suitable
for outdoor use.
Using an adequate outdoor extension cord reduces the risk of electric shock.
If operating the tool in a damp location cannot be avoided, use
a ground fault circuit interrupter (GFCI) protected supply.
Using a GFCI reduces the risk of electric shock.
Personal safety
Stay alert, watch what you are doing and use common sense
when operating a tool. Do not use a power tool while you are
tired or under the influence of drugs, alcohol or medication.
A moment of distraction while operating the tool may result in personal injury.
Use personal protective equipment. Always wear eye
protection.
Protective equipment such as safety glasses, anti-dust mask, non-skid shoes,
hard hats and hearing protection used in the right conditions significantly
reduce personal injury.
Prevent unintentional starting up. Ensure the switch is in the
“OFF” position before connecting into the power source and /
or battery as well as when carrying the tool.
Transporting power tools with the finger on the switch or connecting power
tools with the switch in the “ON” position may cause accidents.
Remove any wrench or vice before turning the power tool on.
Wrenches or vices left attached to rotating parts of the tool may result in personal
injury.
Do not overreach. Keep proper footing and balance at all times.
This enables a better control on the tool during unexpected situations.
Dress properly. Do not wear loose clothing or jewelry. Keep
hair, clothes and gloves away from the moving parts.
Loose clothes or long hair may get caught in moving parts.
If you have dust extraction and recollection devices connected
onto the tool, inspect their connections and use them correctly.
Using these devices reduce dust-related risks.
Power Tools Use and Care
Do not force the tool. Use the adequate tool for your
application.
The correct tool delivers a better and safer job at the rate for which it was designed.
Do not use the tool if the switch is not working properly.
Any power tool that cannot be turned ON or OFF is dangerous and should be
repaired before operating.
Disconnect the tool from the power source and / or battery
before making any adjustments, changing accessories or
storing.
These measures reduce the risk of accidentally starting the tool.
Store tools out of the reach of children. Do not allow persons
that are not familiar with the tool or its instructions to
operate the tool.
Power tools are dangerous in the hands of untrained users.
Service the tool. Check the mobile parts are not misaligned or
stuck. There should not be broken parts or other conditions that
may affect its operation. Repair any damage before using the
tool.
Most accidents are caused due to poor maintenance to the tools.
Keep the cutting accessories sharp and clean.
Cutting accessories in good working conditions are less likely to bind and are
easier to control.
Use the tool, components and accessories in accordance with
these instructions and the projected way to use it for the type of
tool when in adequate working conditions.
Using the tool for applications different from those it was designed for, could
result in a hazardous situation.
Service
Repair the tool in a Authorized Service Center
using only identical spare parts.
This will ensure that the safety of the power tool is maintained.

Kickback and related warnings
• Never keep your car running when using the polisher in
an enclosed area.
• Test your polisher before starting work. In case the tool
emits a strange sound or vibrates irregularly, turn it off.
Disconnect the tool and take it to a
Authorized Service Center.
• When not in service, the tool should be turned off and
unplugged.
• To avoid accidental starting, keep fingers away from the
on/off switch when connecting the polisher to the socket.
• To avoid electric shock, keep the tool dry and clean, free
of any oil and grease residue.
• During the polishing operation keep
the cord away from the polisher path, otherwise it could be
caught and cut by the disc, exposing the operator to
electric shock.
• Do not force the tool. Hold it firmly by both handles
without exerting downward pressure. Failure to do so will
slow down the movement of the machine, reduce the
quality of the work and could cause severe damage to the
tool.
• Take care of your tool. Your job will be easier if you keep
your tool in good condition.
• Do not use accessories that are not
specifically designated and recommended by the tool
manufacturer. Fitting any accessory to the power tool does
not ensure safe operation.
• This power tool is designed to function as a polisher.
Read all safety warnings, instructions and specifications
supplied with this power tool. Failure to follow all
instructions listed below could result in electric shock, fire
and/or serious injury.
• Operations such as grinding, wire brushing or cutting are
not recommended for use with this power tool. Operations
for which the power tool is not designed may present a
hazard and result in personal injury.
• The specified speed of the accessory must be at least the
same as the maximum speed marked on the power tool.
Accessories running faster than their specified speed may
break or disintegrate.
• The outside diameter and thickness of your accessory
must be within the stated capacity of your power tool.
Incorrectly sized accessories cannot be adequately
protected or controlled.
Kickback is the sudden, forceful movement of the tool in
the opposite direction to the movement of the work
attachment that can cause the operator to lose control or
even cause injury.
Kickback is the result of poor procedures and/or operating
conditions that can be avoided by taking the following
precautionary measures.
• Hold the tool firmly with both hands. Position your body
and arms to allow you to resist the force of any kickback.
For maximum control over kickback or torque reaction
during start-up always use the auxiliary handle if provided
with the equipment. By following these precautions, the
operator can control kickback.
• Never place your hand near the rotating attachment.
The accessory could kickback on your hand.
• Do not place your body in the direction the tool would
move if kickback were to occur. Remember that kickback
throws the tool in the opposite direction of the
accessory’s movement at the point of contact.
• Be especially careful when working sharp corners or
edges. Avoid bouncing and/or snagging the accessory.
Corners, sharp edges and bouncing tend to snag the
rotating accessory and cause loss of control or kickback.
• Do not use accessories that require
liquid coolant. Use of water or other liquid coolant may
electrocute or shock you.
• Do not allow any loose portion of the
tassel or its cords to rotate freely. Cut off any protruding
cords. Tassel cords may become entangled in your fingers
or may snag on the workpiece.

Assembly
• Align the auxiliary handle (A) to the polisher head
and align it with the screw holes (B).
• Move the handle to the desired angle.
• Screw the auxiliary handle securely to the polisher
head with the screws and wrench provided.

• Polishing pads (C) or any other polishing accessory is
mounted directly to the disc with hook and loop system
(D).
• To install the pad, first remove any dirt or foreign material. Place the
pad on the hook and loop fastening disc so that the edges are aligned.
• The polisher includes three interchangeable pads:
1. Wine: for removing scratches.
2. Yellow: for removing fine lines.
3. Orange: for final finishing.
• To remove the pad, simply pull it by the edge.
Make sure the pad and pad are aligned and
properly installed. Otherwise, the pad will cause excessive vibration
which may cause loss of control or the pad may be ejected from the
tool.

How to hold the tool properly
• Always hold the tool with both hands. One hand holding
the handle and the other the auxiliary handle or the
ergonomic handle.
• Be careful not to obstruct the ventilation slots.
• Move the polisher back and forth over the work surface with long strokes.
• Note that excessive pressure, incorrect angle or improper movements can cause swirl marks or burn marks in the
finish. To avoid these, do not use high speeds when polishing small areas, press the pad lightly on the surface and keep
the polisher in constant motion without leaving it static in one spot, especially near edges or changes in the work
surface.
• Follow the instructions on the polishing products to obtain a quality job.
• Be vigilant when polishing rough surfaces, with seams or nooks and crannies where the pad can get
stuck. A stuck pad can cause you to lose control of the tool and/or burn the finish. To reduce this risk, use low speeds on
rough surfaces, and in the case of complicated surfaces such as mirrors or moldings, avoid using the tool and polish by
hand.
• The most common mistake is applying too much wax. If the buffing pad absorbs too much wax it will not last long and
the polishing job will be more difficult and will take a long time to finish.

• Intermittent operation:
Connect the plug to the power outlet.
Press the switch (A) to start the tool.
To discontinue use, simply release the switch.
• Continuous operation:
Connect the plug to the power outlet.
Press the switch (A) and lock it by pressing the continuous operation button (B).
To interrupt operation, press and then release the switch.
The switch can be locked in the on position for operator comfort
during prolonged use. Use care when locking the tool in the on position and keep
the tool securely fastened.
Do not turn the tool on with the lockout switch activated. The tool
will start unsupported and may cause personal injury or breakage. C
Speed control
• The tool can be operated at different speeds. These are selected by setting the
speed control to a given number from 1 to 6 (C). The speed increases as the
control is turned to a higher number and decreases as it is turned to a lower
number.
• Generally, low speeds are recommended for small work areas and high speeds for
large areas. Use the speed that best suits the working conditions.
• Refer to table (D) for the relationship between speed control number settings and
approximate speed.
Continued use of the tool at low speeds for an extended period of
time will result in motor overload and poor tool operation.
The speed adjustment dial can only be turned to 6 and back to 1. Do
not force it beyond 6 or 1, or the speed adjustment function may stop working.

Use only spare parts and accessories recommended by the manufacturer. In
case the tool does not work, the repair should be carried out by a
Authorized Service Center.
Maintenance
Repairs
• Turn the polisher upside down.
• Remove the attachment mounted on the disc.
• Using the Allen wrench remove the center screw, remove the worn
hook and loop attachment disc and replace it with a new one.
• Replace the screw to secure the Velcro disc.
Replacing the Velcro disc (A)
• Always unplug the tool before cleaning.
• Never use water or other liquids, only a brush.
• To prevent the motor from overheating, the ventilation slots should be
cleaned regularly.
• Check that all components of the tool are securely fastened.
• The housing should not be cracked or damaged.
• Always check that the cable is not cut or stripped.
• After prolonged use the grease in the tool head should be changed at a
Authorized Service Center.
• It is necessary to replace worn out carbons (burnt, broken or less than 5 mm
long) with new ones.
• When replacing the carbons, always replace both carbons.
• Use a screwdriver to remove the cover of the carbons (B).
• Remove the worn carbons from the carbon holder and remove the
accumulated dust with compressed air.
• Insert the new carbons in reverse order. The carbons should fall into the
carbon holders easily.
• After inserting the new carbons, allow the tool to run for 10 minutes without a
workload to give the carbons a better fit.
• Only replacement carbons, designed with the proper
hardness and electrical resistance for each type of motor, should be used. Out
of specification carbons can damage the motor.
• Store the tool neatly in a dry place and protected from water and dust.

Utilice únicamente refacciones y accesorios recomendados por el fabricante. En
caso de que la herramienta no funcione la reparación deberá ser realizada por
algún Centro de Servicio Autorizado .
Mantenimiento

• Coloque la pulidora boca arriba.
• Retire el accesorio montado en el disco.
• Con la llave allen retire el tornillo central, retire el disco con fijación
hook and loop gastado y reeplace por uno nuevo.
• Coloque de nuevo el tornillo para asegurar el disco de velcro.
Reemplazo del disco de velcro (A)
• Desconecte siempre la herramienta antes de proceder a limpiarla.
• Nunca utilice agua u otros líquidos, solamente utilice un cepillo.
• Para evitar que se sobrecaliente el motor, debe limpiar las ranuras de
ventilación de manera regular.
• Revise que todos los componentes de la herramienta esté bien fijos.
• La carcasa no debe estar cuarteada o dañada.
• Siempre revise que el cable no esté cortado o pelado.
• Después de un uso prolongado la grasa de la cabeza de la herramienta debe
de ser cambiada en un Centro de Servicio Autorizado .
• Es necesario reemplazar los carbones desgastados (quemados, rotos o de
menos de 5 mm de largo), con carbones nuevos.
• Cuando se haga el cambio de carbones siempre deben cambiarse los dos
carbones.
• Utilice un destornillador para quitar la tapa de los carbones (B).
• Retire los carbones desgastados del portacarbones y retire el polvo
acumulado con aire comprimido.
• Coloque los carbones nuevos invirtiendo el orden. Los carbones deben caer
en los portacarbones fácilmente.
• Después de colocar los carbones nuevos, permita que la herramienta
funcione durante 10 minutos sin carga de trabajo para que los carbones tengan
un mejor ajuste.
• Sólo se deben de usar carbones de repuesto , diseñados
con la dureza y la resistencia eléctrica adecuada para cada tipo de motor. Los
carbones fuera de especificaciones pueden dañar el motor.
• Almacena la herramienta ordenadamente en un lugar seco y protegida de
agua y polvo.

Cómo sujetar adecuadamente la herramienta
• Siempre sostenga la herramienta con ambas manos. Una
mano sosteniendo el mango y la otra el mango auxiliar o en
el mango ergonómico.
• Tenga cuidado de no obstruir las ranuras de ventilación.
• Mueva la pulidora hacia adelante y hacia atrás sobre la superficie de trabajo con movimientos largos.
• Tome en cuenta que una presión excesiva, un ángulo incorrecto o movimientos inapropiados pueden causar marcas
de remolino o quemaduras en el acabado. Para evitarlos no utilice velocidades altas al pulir áreas pequeñas, presione
ligeramente la esponja sobre la superficie y mantenga la pulidora en constante movimiento sin dejarla estática en un
punto, sobre todo cerca de bordes o cambios en la superficie de trabajo.
• Siga las instrucciones de los productos para pulir para obtener un trabajo de calidad.
• Esté atento al pulir superficies ásperas, con uniones o recovecos en donde la esponja se pueda
atorar. Una esponja atorada puede hacerle perder el control de la herramienta y/o quemar el acabado. Para reducir este
riesgo utilice velocidades bajas en superficies ásperas, y en el caso de superficies complicadas como espejos o molduras
evite el uso de la herramienta y pula manualmente.
• El error más común es aplicar demasiada cera. Si la borla absorbe demasiada cera no va a durar mucho y el trabajo de
pulido va a ser más difícil y va a tardar mucho tiempo en terminarse.

Puesta en marcha

Encendido y control de operación
• Operación intermitente:
Conecte la clavija al tomacorriente.
Presione el interruptor (A) para hacer que la herramienta empiece a funcionar.
Para interrumpir su uso, simplemente suelte el interruptor.
• Operación continua:
Conecte la clavija al tomacorriente.
Presione el interruptor (A) y bloquéelo, apretando el botón de uso continuo (B).
Para interrumpir su funcionamiento, presione y después suelte el interruptor.
El interruptor puede bloquearse en la posición de encendido
para la comodidad del operador durante el uso prolongado. Tenga cuidado al
bloquear la heramienta en la posición de encendido y mantenga bien sujeta la
herramienta.
No conecte la herramienta con el interruptor de bloqueo
activado. La herramienta se pondrá en macha sin apoyo y podrá ocasionar una
lesión personal o romperse.

Control de velocidad
• La herramienta puede operarse a distintas velocidades. Éstas se seleccionan
ajustando el control de velocidad de un número dado del 1 a 6 (C). La velocidad
aumenta cuando se gira el control hacia un número mayor y disminuye cuando se
gira a un número menor.
• Generalmente se recomiendan velocidades bajas para áreas de trabajo reducidas
y velocidades altas para superficies grandes. Use la velocidad que se adapte mejor a
las condiciones de trabajo.
• Consulte la tabla (D) para ver la relación entre las configuraciones de los números
del control de velocidad y la velocidad aproximada.
El uso continuo de la herramienta a bajas velocidades durante un
tiempo prolongado provocará la sobrecarga del motor y un funcionamiento
deficiente de la herramienta.
El dial de ajuste de velocidad sólo se puede girar hasta 6 y
nuevamente hasta 1. No lo fuerce más allá de 6 o 1, o la función de ajuste de
velocidad podrá dejar de funcionar.

Montaje
• Alineé el mango auxiliar (A) a la cabeza
de la pulidora y hágalo coincidir con los
orificios para atornillar (B).
• Mueva el mango al ángulo deseado.
• Atornille firmemente el mango auxiliar a
la cabeza de la pulidora con los tornillos y
llave incluidos.
Montaje del mango auxiliar
• Las esponjas para pulido (C) o cualquier otro accesorio
para pulir se monta directamente al disco con fijación
hook and loop (D).
• Para instalar la esponja, primero elimine toda la suciedad o materiales
extrañas. Coloque la esponja en el disco de fijacion hook and loop de
manera que los bordes queden alineados.
• La pulidora incluye tres almoadillas intercambiables:
1. Vino: para quitar rayones.
2. Amarilla: para remover líneas finas.
3. Naranja: para acabado final.
• Para remover la esponga, simplemente jalela tomandola por el
borde.
Asegúrese de que la almohadilla y la esponja
estén alineadas y debidamente instaladas. De lo contrario, la esponja
ocasionará una vibración excesiva pudiendo causar la pérdida de
control o la esponja podrá salir expulsada de la herramienta.

Advertencias de Seguridad
para uso de pulidoras para auto
Contragolpe y advertencias relacionadas
• Nunca mantenga encendido su auto cuando esté
utilizando la pulidora en un lugar cerrado.
• Haga una prueba con su pulidora antes de iniciar el
trabajo. En caso de que la herramienta emita un sonido
extraño o vibre de manera irregular, apáguela. Desconecte
la herramienta y llévela a un Centro de Servicio Autorizado
.
• Cuando no se encuentre en servicio, la herramienta
deberá estar apagada y desconectada.
• Para evitar encendidos accidentales, mantenga los dedos
lejos del interruptor de encendido y apagado cuando
conecte la pulidora al enchufe.
• Para evitar choques eléctricos mantenga la herramienta
seca y limpia, libre de cualquier residuo de aceite y grasa.
• Durante la operación de pulido
mantenga alejado el cable de la trayectoria de la pulidora,
de lo contrario podría ser atrapado y cortado por el disco,
lo que expondría al operador a un choque eléctrico.
• No fuerce la herramienta. Sosténgala firmemente por
ambos mangos sin ejercer presión hacia abajo. De lo
contrario el movimiento de la máquina será más lento, se
reducirá la calidad del trabajo y podría ocasionar daños
severos a la herramienta.
• Cuide su herramienta. Su trabajo será más fácil si
mantiene su herramienta en buen estado.
• No utilice accesorios que no hayan
sido designados y recomendados específicamente por el
fabricante de la herramienta. El hecho de que algún
accesorio le quede a la herramienta eléctrica no asegura su
operación segura.
• Esta herramienta eléctrica está diseñada para funcionar
como pulidora. Lea todas las advertencias de seguridad,
instrucciones y especificaciones suministradas con esta
herramienta eléctrica. El no seguir todas las instrucciones
indicadas a continuación podría ocasionar una descarga
eléctrica, un incendio y/o lesiones graves.
• Las operaciones tales como esmerilado, cepillado con
alambre o corte, no están recomendadas para realizarse
con esta herramienta eléctrica. Las operaciones para las
que la herramienta eléctrica no está diseñada, pueden
representar un riesgo y ocasionar lesiones personales.
• La velocidad especificada para el accesorio debe ser por
lo menos la misma que la velocidad máxima marcada en
la herramienta eléctrica. Los acesorios que vayan a una
velocidad mayor que su velocidad especificada, pueden
romperse o desintegrarse.
• El diámetro exterior y grosor de su accesorio debe estra
dentro de la capacidad indicada de su herramienta
eléctrica. Los accesorios de tamaño incorrecto no podrán
ser protegidos ni controlados adecuadamente.
El contragolpe es el movimiento repentino y con fuerza
que sufre la herramienta en dirección contraria al
movimiento del accesorio de trabajo y que puede hacer
perder el control al operario o incluso provocarle una
lesión.
El contragolpe es resultado de malos procedimientos y/o
condiciones de uso que se pueden evitar tomando las
siguientes medidas de precaución.
• Sujete la herramienta firmemente con ambas manos.
Coloque su cuerpo y brazos de tal forma que le permita
resistir la fuerza de un eventual contragolpe. Para obtener
control máximo sobre el contragolpe o la reacción de
torque durante el arranque utilice siempre el mango
auxiliar en caso que se proporcione con el equipo.
Siguiendo estas precauciones el operario puede controlar
los contragolpes.
• Nunca coloque la mano cerca del accesorio giratorio. El
accesorio podría tener un contragolpe sobre su mano.
• No coloque el cuerpo en la dirección a donde la
herramienta se movería si es que ocurre un contragolpe.
Recuerde que el contragolpe lanza la herramienta en
dirección opuesta al movimiento del accesorio en el
punto de contacto.
• Tenga especial cuidado cuando trabaje esquinas u orillas
pronunciadas. Evite rebotar y/o enganchar el accesorio.
Las esquinas, las orillas pronunciadas y el rebote tienden
a enganchar el accesorio giratorio y ocasionar pérdida de
control o contragolpe.
• No utilice accesorios que requieran
refrigerante líquido. El uso de agua u otro refrigerante
líquido puede electrocutarlo o darle una descarga eléctrica.
• No permita que alguna porción suelta
de la borla o sus cuerdas giren libremente. Corte las
cuerdas que sobresalgan. Las cuerdas de la borla se
pueden enredar en sus dedos o pueden engancharse en la
pieza de trabajo.

Área de trabajo
Mantenga el área de trabajo limpia y bien iluminada.
Las áreas desordenadas y obscuras son propensas a accidentes.
No maneje la herramienta en ambientes explosivos, como en
presencia de líquido, gas o polvo inflamables.
Las herramientas eléctricas producen chispas que pueden encender
material inflamable.
Mantenga alejados a los niños y curiosos cuando opere la
herramienta.
Las distracciones pueden hacer que pierda el control.
Seguridad eléctrica
La clavija de la herramienta debe coincidir con el tomacorrien-
te. Nunca modifique una clavija. No use ningún tipo de
adaptador para clavijas de herramientas puestas a tierra.
Clavijas modificadas y enchufes diferentes aumentan el riesgo de
choque eléctrico.
Evite el contacto del cuerpo con superficies puestas a tierra
como tuberías, radiadores, cocinas eléctricas y refrigeradores.
Hay un mayor riesgo de choque eléctrico si el cuerpo está puesto a tierra.
No exponga la herramienta a la lluvia o condiciones de humedad.
El agua que ingresa en la herramienta aumenta el riesgo de choque eléctrico.
No fuerce el cable. Nunca use el cable para transportar,
levantar o desconectar la herramienta. Mantenga el cable
lejos del calor, aceite, orillas afiladas o piezas en movimiento.
Los cables dañados o enredados aumentan el riesgo de choque eléctrico.
Cuando maneje una herramienta en exteriores, use una
extensión especial para uso en exteriores.
El uso de una extensión adecuada para exteriores reduce el riesgo de choque
eléctrico.
Si el uso de la herramienta en un lugar húmedo es inevitable,
use una alimentación protegida por un interruptor de circuito
de falla a tierra (GFCI).
El uso de un GFCI reduce el riesgo de choque eléctrico.
Seguridad personal
Esté alerta, vigile lo que está haciendo y use el sentido común
cuando maneje una herramienta. No la use si está cansado o
bajo la influencia de drogas, alcohol o medicamentos.
Un momento de distracción mientras maneja la herramienta puede
causar un daño personal.
Use equipo de seguridad. Use siempre protección para los ojos.
El uso de equipo de seguridad como lentes de seguridad, mascarilla antipolvo,
zapatos antideslizantes, casco y protección para los oídos en condiciones
apropiadas, reduce de manera significativa los daños personales.
Evite arranques accidentales. Asegúrese de que el interruptor
está en posición “apagado” antes de conectar a la fuente de
alimentación y/o a la batería o transportar la herramienta.
Transportar herramientas eléctricas con el dedo sobre el interruptor o
conectar herramientas eléctricas que tienen el interruptor en posición de
“encendido” puede causar accidentes.
Retire cualquier llave o herramienta de ajuste antes de arrancar
la herramienta eléctrica.
Las llaves o herramientas que quedan en las partes rotativas de la
herramienta pueden causar un daño personal.
No sobrepase su campo de acción. Mantenga ambos pies bien
asentados sobre el suelo y conserve el equilibrio en todo
momento.
Esto permite un mejor control de la herramienta en situaciones inesperadas.
Vista adecuadamente. No vista ropa suelta o joyas. Mantenga
su pelo, su ropa y guantes alejados de las piezas en
movimiento.
La ropa o el pelo sueltos o las joyas pueden quedar atrapados en las piezas en
movimiento.
En caso de contar con dispositivos de extracción y recolección
de polvo conectados a la herramienta, verifique sus conexiones
y úselos correctamente.
El uso de estos dispositivos reduce los riesgos relacionados con el polvo.
Uso y cuidados de la herramienta
No fuerce la herramienta. Use la herramienta adecuada para el
trabajo a realizar.
La herramienta adecuada hace un trabajo mejor y más seguro cuando
se usa al ritmo para el que fue diseñada.
No use la herramienta si el interruptor no funciona.
Cualquier herramienta eléctrica que no pueda encenderse o
apagarse es peligrosa y debe repararse antes de ser operada.
Desconecte la herramienta de la fuente de alimentación
y/o de la batería antes de efectuar cualquier ajuste,
cambiar accesorios o almacenarla.
Estas medidas reducen el riesgo de arrancar la herramienta
accidentalmente.
Almacene las herramientas fuera del alcance de los niños y no
permita su manejo por personas no familiarizadas con las
herramientas o con las instrucciones.
Las herramientas eléctricas son peligrosas en manos no entrenadas.
Déle mantenimiento a la herramienta. Compruebe que las
partes móviles no estén desalineadas o trabadas, que no
haya piezas rotas u otras condiciones que puedan afectar su
operación. Repare cualquier daño antes de usar la herramienta.
Muchos accidentes son causados por el escaso mantenimiento de las
herramientas.
Use la herramienta, sus componentes y accesorios de acuerdo
con estas instrucciones y de la manera prevista para el tipo de

Las herramientas de doble aislamiento y aislamiento reforzado
están equipadas con una clavija polarizada (una pata es más ancha que la otra). Esta
clavija cabe en cualquier enchufe polarizado y sólo puede conectarse de una forma. Si
la clavija no cabe en el enchufe, voltéelo. Si aún así no cabe, póngase en contacto con
un electricista calificado o instale un enchufe polarizado. No altere la clavija en forma
alguna. Ambos tipos de aislamiento eliminan la necesidad de un cable de corriente de
tres partes con conexión a tierra o de un sistema de corriente eléctrica con conexión a
tierra.
Al usar un cable de extensión, asegúrese de usar el calibre suficiente para transportar la corriente que
consumirá su herramienta. Un cable de un calibre inferior ocasionará caídas de tensión en la línea, teniendo como resultado
pérdida de potencia y sobrecalentamiento del motor. La siguiente tabla muestra el tamaño correcto que debe usarse
dependiendo de la longitud del cable y de la capacidad de amperes indicada en la placa de datos de la herramienta. Si tiene
dudas use el siguiente calibre más alto.
