Fig.3
Fig.4

8
To choose a projection mode, press the Mode button:
1. Once to select the front horizontal and vertical laser lines.
2. Two times to select the front horizontal laser line.
3. Three times to select the front vertical laser line.
4. Four times to select the front vertical line, side vertical line and lower laser dot. The
two vertical lines are crossed on the ceiling.
5. Five times to select lock mode, all the laser will be turned on.
6. Six times to return to the default mode.
NOTE:
• In the lock mode, the lasers are projected continuously even if the slope angle
exceeds 4°; The LED indicator lights in red. This mode can not be used to perform
horizontal or vertical leveling, because the laser lines/dot are no longer self-
balancing.
• In the other modes, LED lights in green when the tool is self leveled. When the tool
is out of working range, the laser lines will blink and the LED indicator will light in
red. Adjust the tool to level approximately to recover self leveling.
• Choose the proper projection mode in your actual working. Shutting off the laser line
not used can extend the battery life.
Indoor and Outdoor measurements
The indoor measurement mode is used for short distance measurement under normal
room brightness, e.g. indoors. But when it works outdoors, the strong sunlight will make
the laser lines hard to identify. Now switch to the outdoor measurement mode, the
laser lines will project in pulse, by the laser receiver (sold separately), the laser can be
detected up to 40m away.
When the laser level is turned on, it defaults to indoor measurement mode. Press the
Indoor/outdoor measurement button to switch to outdoor measurement mode, the LED
indicator of outdoor measurement will be lit on.
NOTE:
When switch to outdoor measurement mode, the laser will project in pulse instead

9
of continuous signals, so the brightness of the
laser lines seems a little darker than in the indoor
measurement mode in visual. It has no affection
to the measurement, in outdoor measurement
the tool should be used with laser receiver (not
included).
Mounting to a Tripod (only available in tripod
version)
This Auto Leveling Laser Level can be mounted
on a general 1/4” tripod directly (sold separately).
By the tripod the tool can easily be adjusted to a
