5. Installation
Please install it indoor.
Please install it on smooth and solid ground.
Outdoor installation may cause product damages and poor refrigerating results.
The product will produce vibration and noise on unsmooth ground.
Do not install it where there is hot air.
Do not place heavy objects or liquid containing containers
on the ice-maker.
Install it where there is no heating or heat generating equipment.
Do not install it where ambient temperature goes beyond the range of 10 °C
~38 °C .
Falling objects and flowing liquids may cause product damages, electric
leakage, etc.
Do not install it where it is humid or dusty.
Keep a 30 cm distance between its back and the wall to
facilitate troubleshooting and cooling.
.Environmental issues may cause electric leakage which consequently results in
fire and electric shock.
.Inlet/drain pipe close to the wall may lead to faults.
1) Unpacking and installation
1. Remove the transport case, tapes and packages. It may fail to run properly if any packaging material
is left on the ice-maker.
2. Take out the accessory box inside and install the leveling feet.
3. Install the ice-maker at the specified place. (See precautions for ice-maker installation position
specified below.)
4. Level the machine with installed leveling feet.
5. Check whether the power supply has the rated voltage. (Please use a leakage protector.)
6. Make sure to use a dedicated properly earthed socket. (Unearthed socket may cause faults and the
danger of electric shock.)
6
5. Installation
1. Permissible water pressure: 20~80 PSIG.
- Reduce water pressure through depressurization when inlet pressure is high.
2. For ice making, use clean water filtered with a water purifier.
- Direct use of tap water will produce scale which may block the pipeline and cause the ice-maker
to fail.
- For the water-cooled model, tap water can be directly used for cooling of the condenser.
3. To facilitate drainage, the height of the drainage port shall be <200 mm.
4. For the purpose of sanitation, the drain pipe shall not be directly connected to the drainage port.

7. Product earthing
■Please use earthed power outlet to prevent the danger of electric shock due to electric leakage.
■Separately connect a ground wire if an unearthed power outlet is used.
The earthing terminal is on the lower part at the back side of the product.
■Do not use a common power strip together with other equipment, but use a dedicated socket-outlet.
■Do not insert or unplug the power cord with wet hand, since there is the danger of electric shock.
●Power strip is among the causes of fire.
●Do not touch the power cord or plug with wet
hands.
Use a dedicated socket with earthing terminal.
There is no need for separate earthing.
