INSTRUCTIONS
NOTICE
THIS IS A “UNIVERSAL” CHILD RESTRAINT. IT IS APPROVED TO REGULATION Nº
44, 04 SERIES OF AMENDMENTS, FOR GENERAL USE IN VEHICLES AND IT WILL
FIT MOST, BUT NOT ALL, CAR SEATS.
A CORRECT FIT IS LIKELY IF THE VEHICLE MANUFACTURER HAS DECLARED IN
THE VEHICLE HANDBOOK THAT THE VEHICLE IS CAPABLE OF ACCEPTING A
“UNIVERSAL” CHILD RESTRAINT FOR THIS AGE GROUP.
THIS CHILD RESTRAINT HAS BEEN CLASSIFIED AS “UNIVERSAL” UNDER MORE
STRINGENT CONDITIONS THAN THOSE WHICH APPLIED TO EARLIER DESIGNS
WHICH DO NOT CARRY THIS NOTICE.
IF IN DOUBT, CONSULT EITHER THE CHILD RESTRAINT MANUFACTURER OR
THE RETAILER.
ONLY SUITABLE IF THE APPROVED VEHICLES ARE FITTED 3 POINT/WITH
RETRACTOR SAFETY-BELTS, APPROVED TO UN/ECE REGULATION Nº 16 OR
OTHER EQUIVALENT STANDARDS.
VERY IMPORTANT! TO BE READ IMMEDIATELY.
1. WARNINGS
• Read these instructions carefully before assembling and installing the product. Do not
allow anybody that has not read the instructions to use the product.
• The risk of serious injuries to your child increases, not only in the case of accidents, but
also in other circumstances (sudden braking etc.), if these instructions are not followed
carefully: always check that the child car seat is correctly secured to the vehicle’s seat.
• Keep this instruction booklet for future reference.
• The vehicle seat must be fitted with a 3-point retractable safety belt compliant with
UN/ECE Regulation nº 16, or other equivalent standards (Fig. 1-1).
• Never fit the child car seat to a seat that is only equipped with a 2-point seat belt.
• Each country has dierent safety laws and regulations for the transportation of
children in vehicles. For this reason, contact your local authorities for further
information.
• Any rigid items and plastic parts of the child car seat must be so located and installed
that they are no liable, during everyday use of the vehicle, to become trapped by
movable seat or in a door of vehicle.
• Even a minor accident can damage the child car seat, even if this damage is not visible
to the naked eye. It must therefore be replaced.
• If the child car seat is damaged, deformed or worn out, it must be replaced, as its
original safety features may have been compromised.
• This product must not be modified in any way unless the modification has been
approved by the manufacturer.
• Never leave the child unattended in the child car seat for any reason.

11
• If the vehicle has been left in the sun, check that the dierent parts of the child car
seat are not too hot before seating your child in it: in such cases, in order to avoid burns
allow the car seat to cool down before seating your child.
• Do not use second-hand child car seats: they may have suered structural damage
which, although not visible to the naked eye, may compromise the safety of the
product.
• Luggage or other objects liable to cause injuries in the event of a collision shall be
properly secured.
• This child car seat can only be installed forward facing using a three-point vehicle belt.
• Make sure that all folding or rotating child car seats are always securely fastened in
place; if not, they could be dangerous.
• Never fit the child car seat to a car seat if it is only equipped with a waist belt
(2-point).
• WARNING! According to accident statistics, a vehicle’s rear seat is generally safer
than the front seat: we therefore suggest installing the car seat on the rear seat of the
vehicle. More specifically, the central rear seat is the safest seat when fitted with a
3-point safety belt.
• No car seat can guarantee the total safety of your child in the event of an accident,
but using this product reduces the risk of serious injury or death.
• Do not fit any accessories, spare parts or components not supplied or approved by
the manufacturer.
• Never place anything except an approved accessory between the vehicle seat and the
child car seat or between the child car seat and your child: in the event of an accident
the car seat may not work properly.
• Tutti Baby’s Company does not accept any responsibility for the inappropriate use of
the product.
• The seat fabric must only be replaced with another one approved by the
manufacturer as it forms an integral part of the child car seat. To ensure the safety of
the child car seat, never use it without its fabric cover.
• Check that the safety harness strap is not twisted and prevent the strap or any part of
the child car seat from remaining trapped in the car door, or from rubbing against sharp
edges.
• When the child car seat is not in use, it should be left secured to the car seat or stowed
in the boot. An unsecured child car seat may pose a hazard to passengers in the event
of accidents or sudden braking.
• Do not transport loose or unsecured objects or baggage on the back shelf of the
vehicle: they may injure passengers in the event of accidents or sudden braking.
• Check that the car seat headrest does not interfere with the headrest of the child car
seat: it should not push it forwards. If this happens, remove the headrest from the car
seat to which the child car seat is fixed, making sure not to leave it on the parcel shelf.
• Ensure that all passengers fasten their seat belts both for their own safety and
because, during the journey, they could injure the child in the event of an accident or
the sudden braking of the car.

12
• On long journeys make frequent stops. Children get tired easily. Do not remove the
child from the child car seat while travelling. If your child needs attention, find a safe
place and stop.
• Do not to use any load bearing contact points other than those described in the
instruction and marked on the child car seat. You can contact the child car seat
manufacturer if in doubt about this point.
• This approval is “Universal”, which means that the child car seat can be used on all
types of vehicles.
WARNING! “Universal” means that it is compatible with most, but not all car seats.
WARNING! It is important to respect the following limitations and requirements for use
concerning the product and vehicle seat: your safety will not be guaranteed otherwise.
• This product is specifically designed to be used as a child car seat; it should not be
used indoors.
• Make sure that the buckle of the car’s threepoint belt is not too high. The seat belt
buckle cannot be too long and ride too high under the armrest, preventing the car seat
from being fixed firmly. If this happens, choose another location in the car. If you have
any questions relating to this issue, you should contact the manufacturer (Fig. 1-2).
• The instructions should be retained in the child seat for its life period.
• When the child car seat is not being used to transport the child, it must not be used
for the child to sleep.
• The child must not be left on the child car seat for more than one consecutive hour.
The main tip is to make stops to remove your child from de car seat for a while, before
continuing the trip.

podría no funcionar correctamente.

duerma.
