Installation Precautions
1. Before using the panel, please read this manual carefully, and please
keep this manual properly.
2. Please comply with the warning signs and instructions on the product.
3. Before cleaning the panel, please unplug the power cable. Do not use liquid or corrosive
cleaners, just use a normal damp cloth to clean.
4. Do not use this product near water.
5. Do not place the product in an unstable place, such as a trolley, a stand, etc., to avoid serious
damage to the product due to falling.
6. The openings on the shell, back and bottom of this product are for heat dissipation. Please do
not cover or plug these openings to avoid overheating of the panel. Avoid placing this product
on objects such as beds, sofas, blankets, etc. similar surfaces, so that the openings will not be
blocked. Do not place this product near fire, heaters or hot air vents. Do not place this product in
an enclosed space unless there is proper ventilation.
7. Please use the power supply according to the label on the power adapter.
8. Avoid putting anything on the power cable of this product, and avoid putting this product on
other power cable.
9. When using an extension cable, please confirm that the total power/total amperage used
should not exceed the total amperage of the extension cable.
10. Do not insert anything into the opening of the body to avoid electric shock or short-circuit
fire; do not splash any liquid on this product.
11. Do not disassemble and repair without authorization. Unauthorized opening or removal of
covers marked "DO NOT REMOVE" could expose you to voltage or other hazards. Please consult

12. If the following situations occur, please unplug this product and consult a qualified dealer or
service staff:
a. The plug is damaged or unraveled.
b. Liquid seeps into the product.
c. If this product has been exposed to rain or water.
d. If you have followed the operating rules of this manual, it still cannot be used normally. Only
adjust the places mentioned in this manual that can be adjusted, because if the adjustment in
other places is not appropriate, it may cause damage to the product, and it will take a longer
time for qualified technicians to repair it before it can be restored to its original state.
e. If the product has been dropped or the body has been damaged.

Product Warranty Guidelines
Products are warranted against production defects for one year from the date of purchase
Any repairs during the warranty period require the original purchase invoice or other relevant
documents as proof
The warranty period of the product starts from the purchase date; if the purchase certificate
is lost or the purchase date is not filled in, the warranty start date is the manufacture date
plus 30 days
Due to accidents (natural disasters, land changes, lightning strikes, etc.), improper use (such
as liquid crystal rupture, liquid, sand, dust infiltration, damp, etc.), repairs or modifications by
any person without our company’s authorization are not included in warranty coverage.
Damage caused by computer viruses and malware is not covered under the warranty
Damage caused by installation of unauthorized third-party software on your computer is not
covered under warranty
All file or shipping costs including insurance are borne by the purchaser
Claims of any other nature are not covered under the warranty
All accessories including wire, metal parts, housings, cable reels and consumable parts are
excluded from warranty
Warranty is only valid in the country or region where the product was purchased
This product warranty policy does not affect your statutory rights
Warranty claims for any product in the second year must be notified to us in advance

1. Product Introduction
Mini vMix panel is an external director switcher designed for our company's
Vmix system and virtual studio system. It has an elegant design and is a
professional-grade hardware designed for the realization of director switcher,
live broadcast, recording and PTZ control. It has modern appearance and MIDI
communication protocol interface, which can greatly speed up the workflow of
live playback. The panel adopts high-quality curved buttons, which can reduce
the chance of misoperation. The buttons are all backlit to help you quickly
identify important keystrokes. In addition, it is also equipped with a quick
search dial and a T-shaped putter. Buttons support dynamic display, and all
buttons support custom settings.

3. Usage of the Switcher
1). Connect the switcher to a computer with VMIX software via a USB cable.
Download the setup template for the switcher. Template name is “VMIX MINI
PANEL”

2). Open the VMIX software and click the Settings button in the upper right
corner.
Click Import, find the downloaded "TYST1500_Vmix .config" template
configuration file and import it into the VMIX system.

Click "Import" in the image above to add a configuration file, as shown below:
Click "Shortcut Keys", select MIDI settings, check "TY HD 500 Switcher", and
save, so that the panel keys can be used.

Click "Activator" to select "Allow Device", check "TY HD 500 Switcher" and save
it, the purpose is to make the button light up when it is in use.
So far, if your computer system is Windows 10, and the VMIX software version
is the latest version 22 and above, when you complete the above operations,
the switcher can be used, and the 1 and 2 channel buttons on the switcher are

displayed with color, as shown below:
If your computer system is Windows 7 or Windows 8, or your vMix software is
not the latest version 22, after you finish loading the configuration, restart the
vMix software, and then you can use it.

4. Switcher Button Description

1) Audio Control
From left to right, corresponding to the PGM total output, input 1, input 2, and
PVW preview for volume control.
2) PGM /PVW 1-8
PGM/PVW main cut output and preview monitoring buttons, providing 1-8
switching buttons.
3) Functions and special effects
Record button, press to record, press again to cancel recording, the
status can be viewed in real time at the record button on the vMix
software window.
Live broadcast button, press to open/close live broadcast, you must
enable live broadcast in advance, and fill in the live broadcast
address in the VMIX push stream address.
Preview button, press on/off to output the video to the secondary
screen/large screen and other outputs, and the output must be set in
vMix.

Black burst button, output the silent color bar signal in an emergency
situation.
Custom buttons, can be set according to actual needs, such as transition effects,
picture/video/PPT control buttons, etc.
4) T-bar
Switch PVW screen to PGM window for streaming.

5. Interface Description
USB: connect the switcher to the computer, free drive.
TALLY Phoenix terminal: as shown below, 1-9pin from left to right.
Note: Only the upgraded version has tally interface.
TALLY A/B:1-4 channels are Tally and 5-8 channels are output, please refer to
the table below for the definition of tally A/B interface.
