situational awareness to aircraft operations in the airspace.
Accordingly, pilots must remain vigilant of surrounding air
trac at all times during ight to ensure safe operation.

uAvionix pingEFB receives trac information
(ADS-B/ADS-R and TIS-B) on both UAT (978 MHz) and
1090 ES (1090 MHz).
When in proximity to a ground station it also
receives ight information (FIS-B) and additional
trac (TIS-B) over UAT.
Received data is sent to Stratux for use with
compatible EFB applications.

Quick Start Guide

Connect 1
Connect pingEFB to your Stratux hardware using a Micro-
USB cable or a Micro-USB OTG adapter.
pingEFB should be mounted with the antenna oriented
vertically.

Congure
Connect your EFB device to the Stratux Wi-Fi Network and
enable Ping ADS-B on the settings page.
Open a web browser.
Access the conguration page
by entering the IP address for
your Stratux conguration.
The default is http://192.168.10.1
From the Menu select
Settings
Tap to toggle the Ping ADS-B
option to Enabled.

Launch
Launch your Stratux compatible Electronic Flight Bag (EFB)
application.

Track
Congure your EFB as necessary receive Stratux data. In most
applications it will be automatically detected.
ADS-B trac and ight information should begin streaming to
the application when in range.
Typical iOS Electronic Flight Bag is shown below with trac.

Notes
Reception is dependent on a number of factors including
pingEFB location, orientation and aircraft conguration.
ADS-B ground station reception will usually not be available
until in-ight. Ground stations provide additional trac and
ight information (FIS-B) data.
pingEFB requires Stratux v1.1 or later.
