The conditions of noise level inside and outside of the box office should be the normal ones for the daily use of the system.
Put all the adjustment potentiometers of the front and back panel at the minimum position.
Start up the main station WV-6 by using the “ON/OFF” switch. The red pilot light should turn “ON”.
Activate the button to start up the DESK PZ-99, or else, the microphone PV-5. The green pilot associated must be turned on.
Activate the external volume adjustment by speaking normally in front of the internal microphone until you get the proper level outside in relation to
the environment.
Next, proceed in the same way with the internal volume. When you speak from the outside, the inside level should be the proper one in relation to
the environment.
Once the volume is already adjusted, probably an echo feedback noise will appear. Normally, this effect occurs due to the model of loudspeaker
operating as well as the acoustic features of the building.
In this case it will be necessary to adjust the parametric filters inside and outside.
FILTERS ADJUSTMENT PROCEDURE
Adjustment of external filters:
1. Reduce the internal volume lightly.
2. Increase the external volume until you start hearing the echo feedback noise. Then turn the attenuation to the maximum
level and readjust the frequency until the noise disappears. If the problem persists, change the frequency range by using the switch and
repeat the previous operation until the noise disappears.
Adjustment of internal filters:
3. Reduce the external volume lightly.
4. Increase the internal volume until you start hearing the echo feedback noise. Then turn the attenuation to the maximum
level and readjust the frequency until the noise disappears. If the problem persists, change the frequency range by using the switch and
repeat the previous operation until the noise disappears.
It is possible to do a fine adjustment by reducing the attenuation.
Once both filters are properly adjusted, readjust the internal and external volumes in order to obtain the proper levels.
Now the system is fully adjusted.
ADJUSTMENT OF THE HEARING AID INDUCTION LOOP (OPTIONAL via the accessory WV-10):
Adjust the volume located in the rare panel until the modulation loop LED is illuminated while you are talking in front of the internal microphone.
