During production, this equipment has
been checked for quality and subjected to
a nal inspection. The functionality of your
equipment is therefore guaranteed.
The operating instructions constitute
part of this product. They contain
important information on safety,
use and disposal. Before using the
product, familiarise yourself with
all of the operating and safety in-
structions. Use the product only as
described and for the applications
specied. Keep this manual safely
and in the event that the product
is passed on, hand over all docu-
ments to the third party.
Intended purpose
The device is designed for waxing and pol-
ishing or dewaxing of vehicle varnish.
The device is intended to be used by do-it-
yourselfers. It was not designed for heavy
commercial use.
The tool is to be used by adults. Children
over the age of 16 may not use the tool
except under supervision.
The manufacturer is not liable for damages
caused by an improper use or incorrect
operation of this device.

Functional description
The device is designed for waxing and
polishing or dewaxing of vehicle varnish.
Rotating the polishing disc helps achieve a
consistent mode of operation. The polish-
ing bonnets can be exchange for different
applications and detachable for cleaning.

tions in the declaration of conformity.

been measured according to a stand-
ardised test method and can be used to
compare one power tool with another.

the stated specied noise emission val-
ues can also be used for a provisional
assessment of the load.
Warning:
The vibration and noise emissions
may deviate from the specied val-
ues during actual use of the power
tool, depending on the type and
manner in which the power tool is
used – and in particular which type
of workpiece is processed.
Try to keep the exposure to vibra-
tions as low as possible. Examples
of measures to reduce vibration
exposure are the wearing of gloves
when using the tool and limiting the
working hours. For this purpose all
parts of the operating cycle have to
be considered (for example, times
when the electric tool is switched
off and times when it is switched on
but running without any load).

General Safety Directions for
Power Tools
WARNING! Read all safety
notices, instructions, illustra-
tions and technical data that
have been provided with this
power tool. Omissions in the
compliance with safety directions
and instructions can cause electrical
shock, re and/or severe injuries.
Retain all safety directions and in-
structions for future use.
The term „power tool“ in the warnings
refers to your mains-operated (corded)
power tool or battery-operated (cordless)
power tool).
1) WORK AREA SAFETY
a) Keep work area clean and well
lit. Cluttered or dark areas invite ac-
cidents.
b) Do not operate power tools in
explosive atmospheres, such as
in the presence of ammable
Iiquids, gases or dust. Power tools
create sparks which may ignite the dust
or fumes.

3) PERSONAL SAFETY
a) Stay alert, watch what you are
doing and use common sense
when operating a power tool.
Do not use a power tool while
you are tired or under the inu-
ence of drugs, alcohol or medi-
cation. A moment of inattention white
operating power tools may result in
serious personal injury.
b) Use personal protective equip-
ment. Always wear eye protec-
tion. Protective equipment such as dust
mask, non-skid safety shoes, hard hat,
or hearing protection used for appro-
priate conditions will reduce personal
injuries.
c) Prevent unintentional starting.
Ensure the switch is in the off-
position before connecting to
power source and/or battery
pack, picking up or carrying the
tool. Carrying power tools with your
nger on the switch or energising pow-
er tools that have the switch on invites
accidents.
d) Remove any adjusting key or
wrench before turning the pow-
er tool on. A wrench or a key left at-
tached to a rotating part of the power
tool may result in personal injury.
e) Do not overreach. Keep proper
footing and balance at all times.
This enables better control of the power
tool in unexpected situations.
f) Dress properly. Do not wear
loose clothing or jewellery. Keep
your hair, clothing and gloves
away from moving parts. Loose
clothes, jewellery or long hair can be
caught in moving parts.
c) Keep children and bystanders
away while operating a power
tool. Distractions can cause you to
lose control.
2) ELECTRICAL SAFETY
a) Power tool plugs must match
the outlet. Never modify the
plug in any way. Do not use
any adapter plugs with earthed
(grounded) power tools. Unmodi-
ed plugs and matching outlets will
reduce risk of electric shock.
b) Avoid body contact with earthed
or grounded surfaces, such as
pipes, radiators, ranges and re-
frigerators. There is an increased risk
of electric shock if your body is earthed
or grounded.
c) Do not expose power tools to
rain or wet conditions. Water
entering a power tool will increase the
risk of electric shock.
d) Do not abuse the cord. Never
use the cord for carrying, pull-
ing or unplugging the power
tool. Keep cord away from
heat, oil, sharp edges or moving
parts. Damaged or entangled cords
increase the risk of electric shock.
e) When operating a power tool
outdoors, use an extension cord
suitable for outdoor use. Use of a
cord suitable for outdoor use reduces
the risk of electric shock.
f) If operating a power tool in a
damp location is unavoidable,
use a RCD (Residual Current De-
vice) protected supply. Use of a
RCD reduces the risk of electric shock.

g) If dust extraction and collection
devices can be installed, make
sure that these are connected
and used correctly. Use of dust
collection can reduce dust-related haz-
ards.
h) Do not allow yourself to be
lulled into a false sense of se-
curity and do not disregard the
safety rules for power tools,
even if you are familiar with the
power tool after using it many
times. Careless action can lead to
serious injuries within a fraction of a
second.
4) POWER TOOL USE AND CARE
a) Do not force the power tool. Use
the correct power tool for your
application. The correct power tool
will do the job better and safer at the
rate for which it was designed.
b) Do not use the power tool if the
switch does not turn it on and
off. Any power tool that cannot be
controlled with the switch is dangerous
and must be repaired.
c) Remove the plug from the wall
socket and/or remove the re-
chargeable battery before you
change the device’s settings,
change accessory parts or put
away the power tool. Such pre-
ventive safety measures reduce the risk
of starting the power tool accidentaIly.
d) Store idle power tools out of the
reach of children and do not al-
low persons unfamiliar with the
power tool or these instructions
to operate the power tool. Power
tools are dangerous in the hands of
untrained users.
e) Look after the power tool and
application tool carefully. Check
for misalignment or binding
of moving parts, breakage of
parts and any other condition
that may affect the power tool’s
operation. If damaged, have the
power tool repaired before use.
Many accidents are caused by poorly
maintained power tools.
f) Keep cutting tools sharp and
clean. Properly maintained cutting
tools with sharp cutting edges are less
Iikely to bind and are easier to control.
g) Use the power tool, accessories
and tool bits etc. in accordance
with these instructions, taking
into account the working condi-
tions and the work to be per-
formed. Use of the power tool for op-
erations different from those intended
could result in a hazardous situation.
h) Keep handles and grip surfaces
dry, clean and free from oil and
grease. Slippery handles and grip
surfaces do not permit safe operation
and control over the power tool in un-
expected situations.
5) SERVICE
a) Have your power tool serviced
by a qualied repair person us-
ing only identical replacement
parts. This will ensure that the safety
of the power tool is maintained.

ing harmful or toxic dusts that
may arise from polishing paint
containing lead or from polish-

ing certain wood and metals
represents a danger to the op-
erator and people who are close
by. Keep persons nearby away
from the hazard area. Eyes should
be protected from the foreign matter,
which can be caused to y during the
various applications. Dust or breath-
ing masks should lter the dust that is
created during operation. Wear hear-
ing protection in addition. If you are
exposed to loud noise for a long time,
you may suffer hearing loss. Wear
protective gloves in addition where ap-
propriate.
• If the supply cord of this power tool
is damaged, it must be replaced by
a specially prepared cord available
through the service organization.
• This device is not intended for
use by people with restricted
physical, sensory or mental fac-
ulties or those who do not have
sufcient experience or knowl-
edge of it.
• Do not allow yourself to be
lulled into a false feeling of se-
curity and do not disregard the
safety rules for power tools,
even if you are familiar with the
power tool after using it many
times. Acting carelessly can result in
serious injuries within fractions of a sec-
ond.
Residual risks
Even if properly operating and handling
this electric tool, some residual risks will
remain. Due to its construction and build,
this electric tool may present the following
hazards:
a) Lung damage, if suitable respiratory
protection is not worn;
b) Ear damage if working without ear pro-
tection.
c) Eye damage if no suitable eye protec-
tion is worn.
d) Damage to your health caused by
swinging your hands and arms when
operating the appliance for longer pe-
riods of time or if the unit is not held or
maintained properly.
Warning! During operation, this
electric tool generates an electro-
magnetic eld which, under certain
circumstances, may impair the
functionality of active or passive
medical implants. To reduce the risk
of serious or lethal injuries, we rec-
ommend that persons with medical
implants consult their doctor and
the manufacturer of their medical
implant before operating the ma-
chine.
Operation
Caution! Risk of injury!
- Always remove the mains plug
before working on the tool.
The mains cable is to run over the
user’s shoulder during the use of the
polishing machine to avoid contact
with the polished surface. This is to
prevent scratches from the mains
cable.

Tighten cover on the
polishing disc
1. Align the polishing disc (3) upwards.
2. Using both hands, grab hold of a
towelling cover (5) or a synthetic fur
cover (4) and expand the elastic band
outwards.
3. Put the cover (4/5) on a part of the
polishing disc (3) over the edge of the
polishing disc. Pull the cover around
the edge.
4. Fit the cover (4/5) in centrally and
tightly around the polishing disc (3).
Switching on and off
Make sure that the power supply
voltage matches the voltage rating
indicated on the device‘s type
plate.
Connect the machine to the power
supply.
1. To switch on, tilt the on/off switch (2) to
position „I“, the device turns on.
2. To switch off, tilt the on/off switch (2) to
position „0“, the device turns off.
3. Firmly hold the device with both hands
on the handle (1).
Waxing/polishing paint
surfaces
1. Use the towelling cover (5) to apply
polish.
2. Apply the wax or polish on a slightly
smaller area than the area you would
like to polish.
3. Work with the polish in a crosswise
movement or circular motions. Exert
only moderate pressure on the surface.
4. Please refer to the information from the
polish manufacturer.
Do not allow the polish to dry out.
There is a risk or surface damage.
Therefore, do not work in direct sun-
light or on a heated surface.
Dewaxing/polishing paint
surfaces
1. Use the synthetic fur cover (4) for
dewaxing purposes.
2. Work in a crosswise movement or
circular motions. Exert only moderate
pressure on the surface.
3. Please refer to the information from the
polish manufacturer.
Cleaning and
maintenance
Pull the mains plug before any ad-
justments, maintenance or repair.
Have any work on the device
that is not described in this
instruction guide performed
by a professional. Only use
original parts. Allow the de-
vice to cool off before any
maintenance or cleaning is
undertaken. There is a risk of
burning!
Always check the device before using it for
obvious deciencies such as loose, worn
or damaged parts, correct the position-
ing of screws or other parts. Examine the
polishing disc in particular. Exchange the
damaged parts.

Cleaning
Do not use any cleaning agent or
solvent. Chemical substances can
etch the plastic parts of the device.
Never clean the device under run-
ning water.
• Thoroughly clean the device after every
use.
• Clean the ventilation openings and the
surface of the device with a soft brush
or cloth.
• Hand wash to thoroughly clean the
covers after each use. Only use a mild
soap sud.
Storage
• Store the appliance in a dry place
(0-40°C) well out of reach of chil-
dren.

tool, accessories and packaging to a recy-
cling centre when you have nished with
them.
Electrical machines do not belong
with domestic waste.
• Hand over the device at an utilization
location. The plastic and metal parts
employed can be separated out and
thus recycled use can be implemented.
Ask our Service-Center for details.
• Defective units returned to us will be
disposed of for free.

Guarantee
Dear Customer,
This equipment is provided with a 3-year
guarantee from the date of purchase.
In case of defects, you have statutory rights
against the seller of the product. These
statutory rights are not restricted by our
guarantee presented below.
Terms of Guarantee
The term of the guarantee begins on the
date of purchase. Please retain the original
receipt. This document is required as proof
of purchase.
If a material or manufacturing defect
occurs within three years of the date of
purchase of this product, we will repair or
replace – at our choice – the product for
you free of charge. This guarantee requires
the defective equipment and proof of pur-
chase to be presented within the three-year
period with a brief written description of
what constitutes the defect and when it oc-
curred.
If the defect is covered by our guarantee,
you will receive either the repaired product
or a new product. No new guarantee pe-
riod begins on repair or replacement of the
product.
Guarantee Period and Statutory
Claims for Defects
The guarantee period is not extended by
the guarantee service. This also applies for
replaced or repaired parts. Any damages
and defects already present at the time of
purchase must be reported immediately af-
ter unpacking. Repairs arising after expiry
of the guarantee period are chargeable.
Guarantee Cover
The equipment has been carefully pro-
duced in accordance with strict quality
guidelines and conscientiously checked
prior to delivery.
The guarantee applies for all material and
manufacturing defects. This guarantee
does not extend to cover product parts that
are subject to normal wear and may there-
fore be considered as wearing parts (e.g.
polishing disc, towelling covers or synthetic
fur covers) or to cover damage to break-
able parts (e.g. switches).
This guarantee shall be invalid if the prod-
uct has been damaged, used incorrectly or
not maintained. Precise adherence to all of
the instructions specied in the operating
manual is required for proper use of the
product. Intended uses and actions against
which the operating manual advises or
warns must be categorically avoided.
The product is designed only for private and
not commercial use. The guarantee will be
invalidated in case of misuse or improper han-
dling, use of force, or interventions not under-
taken by our authorised service branch.

To ensure efcient handling of your query,
please follow the directions below:
• Please have the receipt and item num-
ber (IAN 331170_1907) ready as
proof of purchase for all enquiries.

• Should functional errors or other de-
fects occur, please initially contact the

service, a product recorded as defective
can be sent postage paid to the service
address communicated to you, with the
proof of purchase (receipt) and speci-
cation of what constitutes the defect
and when it occurred. In order to avoid
acceptance problems and additional

address communicated to you. Ensure
that the consignment is not sent carriage
forward or by bulky goods, express or
other special freight. Please send the
equipment inc. all accessories supplied
at the time of purchase and ensure ad-
equate, safe transport packaging.
Repair Service
For a charge, repairs not covered by
the guarantee can be carried out by
our service branch, which will be happy to
issue a cost estimate for you.
We can handle only equipment that has
been sent with adequate packaging and
postage.
Attention: Please send your equipment to
our service branch in clean condition and
with an indication of the defect.
Equipment sent carriage forward or by
bulky goods, express or other special
freight will not be accepted.
We will dispose of your defective devices
free of charge when you send them to us.

Η συσκευή απευθύνεται σε ενήλικες.
Ανήλικοι κάτω των 16 ετών δεν επιτρέπε-
ται να χρησιμοποιούν τη συσκευή χωρίς
επίβλεψη.
Ο κατασκευαστής δεν ευθύνεται για ζημιές

Περιγραφή λειτουργίας

Τα επίπεδα θορύβου και κραδασμών είναι
σύμφωνα με τα πρότυπα και τους κανονι-
σμούς της δήλωσης συμμόρφωσης.
- Οι αναγραφόμενες συνολικές τιμές
δονήσεων και οι αναγραφόμενες τιμές
εκπομπής θορύβου μετρήθηκαν σύμ-
φωνα με μια τυποποιημένη διαδικασία
ελέγχου και μπορούν να χρησιμοποιη-
θούν για τη σύγκριση με άλλα ηλεκτρι-
κά εργαλεία.
- Οι αναγραφόμενες συνολικές τιμές
δονήσεων και οι αναγραφόμενες τιμές
εκπομπής θορύβου μπορούν να χρη-
σιμοποιηθούν επίσης για προσωρινή
εκτίμηση του φορτίου.
 
Οι τιμές δονήσεων και εκπομπής
θορύβου ενδέχεται να διαφέρουν
από τις καθορισμένες τιμές κατά τη
χρήση του ηλεκτρικού εργαλείου,
ανάλογα από τον τρόπο χρήσης
του ηλεκτρικού εργαλείου και ιδι-
αίτερα από το είδος του τεμαχίου
επεξεργασίας.

Προσπαθείτε να διατηρείτε την
επιβάρυνση λόγω κραδασμών
όσο μικρότερη γίνεται. Μέτρα για
τη μείωση της επιβάρυνσης λόγω
κραδασμών είναι για παράδειγμα
η χρήση γαντιών κατά τη χρήση
του εργαλείου και ο περιορισμός
του χρόνου εργασίας. Εδώ πρέπει
να ληφθούν υπόψιν όλα τα στάδια
λειτουργίας (για παράδειγμα ο χρό-
νος κατά τον οποίο το ηλεκτρικό
εργαλείο είναι απενεργοποιημένο
και ο χρόνος κατά τον οποίο το
ηλεκτρικό εργαλείο είναι μεν ενερ-
γοποιημένο, αλλά λειτουργεί χωρίς
επιβάρυνση).

Η έννοια „ηλεκτρικά εργαλεία“, που χρη-
σιμοποιείται στις υποδείξεις ασφαλείας,
αναφέρεται σε ηλεκτρικά εργαλεία που
λειτουργούνται με το ηλεκτρικό δίκτυο (με
καλώδιο ρεύματος) και σε ηλεκτρικά εργα-
λεία που λειτουργούνται με συσσωρευτή
(δίχως καλώδιο ρεύματος).
 

Σε

χώρους εργασίας δημιουργούνται ατυ-
χήματα.

εργαλεία παράγουν σπινθήρες που

μενο συσσωρευτή προτού διεξάγετε
ρυθμίσεις στη συσκευή, προτού αλλά-

Με τον τρόπο αυτό δεν είναι δυνατή η
αθέλητη ενεργοποίηση του ηλεκτρικού

επιτρέπουν έναν ασφαλή χειρισμό και
έλεγχο του ηλεκτρικού εργαλείου σε
απρόβλεπτες καταστάσεις.

ΥΠΟΛΕΙΠΟΜΕΝΟΙ ΚΙΝΔΥΝΟΙ
Aκόμη και σε περίπτωση σωστής και κα-
νονικής χρήσης αυτού του ηλεκτρικού ερ-
γαλείου, υφίστανται πάντα υπόλειπόμενοι
κίνδυνοι. Oι ακόλουθοι κίνδυνοι μπορούν
να παρουσιαστούν ανάλογα με το είδος
κατασκευής και το μο ντέλο αυτού του
ηλεκτρικού εργαλείου:
α) Βλάβες στους πνεύμονες, στην περί-
πτωση που δεν χρησιμοποιείται προ-
στασία για την αναπνοή.
β) Bλάβες της ακοής, εάν δεν χρησιμοποι-
θεί κατάλληλη ηχοπροστασίας.
γ) επιπτώσεις στην υγεία
- Αποφύγετε την επαφή του με τα ερ-
γαλεία λείανσης σε μη στεγασμένο
χώρο;
- Προσοχή από που φέρουν τα μέρη
από το αντικείμενο εργασίας ή το
κατεστραμμένο τροχό
δ) Προβλήματα υγείας που προκαλούνται
από τις ταλαντεύσεις του χεριού και
της παλάμης, εάν η συσκευή χρησιμο-
ποιείται για μεγάλο χρονικό διάστημα
ή χρησιμοποιείται και συντηρείται όχι
σύμφωνα με της υποδείξεις.
 Αυτό το ηλεκτρικό εργα-
λείο δημιουργεί κατά τη λειτουργία
ένα ηλεκτρομαγνητικό πεδίο. Αυτό
το πεδίο δεν αποκλείεται υπό ορι-
σμένες συνθήκες να εηρεάσει τη
λειτουργία, ενεργητικά ή παθηιτκά
ιατρικά εμφυτεύματα. Προς απο-
φυγή του κινδύνου σοβαρών ή
και θανατηφόρων τραυματισμών,
συνιστούμε σε άτομα με ιατρικά εμ-
φυτεύματα να συμβουλευθούν τον
γιατρό τους και τον κατασκευαστή
του ιατρικού εμφυτεύματος, πριν
χειριστούν τη μηχανή.
Χειρισμός
 

- Πριν από την εκτέλεση όλων
των εργασιών στη συσκευή να
βγάζετε το βύσμα από την πρί-
ζα.
Το καλώδιο δικτύου πρέπει κατά
τη χρήση της μηχανής στίλβωσης
να τοποθετείται πάνω από τους
ώμους, ώστε να αποφεύγεται επα-
φή με την επιφάνεια προς στίλβω-
ση. Έτσι εμποδίζονται γδαρσίματα
από το καλώδιο δικτύου.
Στερεώστε το κάλυμμα επάνω
στο δίσκο στίλβωσης
1. Κατευθύνετε το δίσκο στίλβωσης (3)
προς τα επάνω.
2. Πιάστε και με τα δύο χέρια ένα κά-
λυμμα πετσετέ (5) ή ένα κάλυμμα
