becomedefinitelydarkerandshouldaccumulatemore
slowly.
Warning: Innewly filled tanks, the skimmer may not
produce foam for a few weeks. This inhibition is
causedbyresiduesoftheoilsusedfortherealization
ofthehoses(rubberhoses).
HIGHAIRFLOW
Thisseriesofskimmerstreatsaconsiderablequantity
ofair,makingitmoresensitivetothewatersurface
tension. Product dosing or the simple contact of the
handswithwatermaycausevariationsinthelevelof
thefoamevenforafewhours.
Warning:Itisimportantduring this time to do not
adjustthelevelofthefoamotherwise,oncethe
skimmingisstabilized,itmayfloodthecollectioncup.
Duetothehighairflowintheventuri,intheventuri
there may be deposits of minerals (white deposits)
thataredifficulttoremove.
Warning: Check the condition of the venturi weekly
andifnecessaryscrapeoffthedeposits
SETTING
Skimmersareoftensubjecttomalfunctionsduetothe
conditions of the waterof the water they process.
These phenomena are normal and usually does not
posearisktothetanks.
Warning: To solve any malfunctions, contact the
retailer or the distributors where you have purchase
theproduct.
Iftheamountofliquidcollectedinthecollectioncupis
toodenseorinsufficient,increasethelevel(closethe
flowvalve)toacceleratetheskimming.Thisis
commonlyreferredtoas"wetskimming".
Conversely,ifthecollectioncupfilltooquicklyandthe
accumulated fluid is too light, decreased the level
(opentheflowvalve)toreducetheskimming.Thisis
commonlyreferredtoas"dryskimming".
Itisadvisabletoemptytheglassassoonastheliquid
level reaches 2‐3cm harvest, which should occur at
leastweekly.
Warning: Finding the right point of skimming is
difficult and requires some experience.Forthefirst
timeitisnormaltohavedifficultyinregulatingthe
flowvalve.
Itispossibletomodifytheskimmerairintakevolume
rotatingtheairflowadjustmentscrew.
Warning: Do not connect pipes, filters or other
systemstotheairsuctionline.Anymodificationcould
compromisetheoperationoftheskimmer
Rotatingtheadjustingscrewclockwisedecreasesthe
air intake. This operation reduces the extraction
efficiency but increases stability and allows the
skimmertoworkstablyevenontankswithlowlevels
ofsurfactants.
Warning: Air regulation is recommended only for
experts users. An improper adjustment may limit the
performanceoftheskimmerorseriouslydamagethe
pump.
PUMPSWITHCONTROLLER
Adjusting of the pump allows you to change the
performanceoftheskimmerbysimultaneouslyadjust
theamountofaspiratedairandtreatedwater.
Reducing the pump speed decreases the extraction
capacityandtheconsumptionoftheskimmer.This
solutionisusefulforfeedingortanksmaturationtime.
Conversely, increasing the speed of the pump
increasestheextractioncapacityandtheconsumption
oftheskimmer.
After each variation of speed, it is necessary to wait
forthefoamtostabilize.Changethespeedofonestep
(oneLED)every2hours.
MAINTENANCE
Warning: An increase in the noise or vibration of the
product are caused by occlusion on theair intake or
fromawornimpeller.Youmusttakeimmediateaction
tosolvetheproblem.
Before performing any maintenance, disconnect the
product from power supply. Do not use abrasive
products,toxicandunsuitableforcleaningoperation.
Every day:Visuallycheckthefunctioningofthe
product.Ifnecessary,emptythecollectioncup.
