Ultra Start 2000 Pro Series User manual

The manufacturer warrants to the original purchaser of their remote starters and
alarms, that the product shall be free from defects in material and workmanship.
However, should this product be proven to be defective, within a one year period from
the original date of purchase, the manufacturer will, without charge to the purchaser
(excluding any charges incurred to have the product delivered to the manufacturer) ,
repair or replace any part of the remote starters and alarms which the manufacturer
agrees to be defective. Thereafter this warranty applies only to the main computer
control module which will be warranted for the life of the original purchaser and the
vehicle in which it is originally installed. Repairs or replacement of defective modules
shall remain at the discretion of the manufacturer. ll other parts, components,
accessories and/or optional equipment pertaining to the remote starter and alarm are
not included in the extended warranty. This warranty is non-transferable. Request for
warranty service from any Factory uthorized Dealer must be accompanied with the
original purchase receipt. This warranty does not cover the following: removal and
reinstall labor charges, shipping charges, abuse, misuse, or accidental damages to
the remote starter and alarm, automobile, and/or parts there of. This warranty is void
upon modification, repairs, or alterations of any part of the System. The manufacturer
does not guarantee or insure against theft of the vehicle or its contents. larm models
are designed only to act as a deterrent against possible theft. This alarm may qualify
for auto insurance discounts, contact your Insurance gent for further information .
The manufacturer shall not be held liable for any consequential damages due to
breach of this or any other warranty, expressed, or implied. This warranty gives you
specific legal rights. Your specific legal rights may vary for each region.

The manufacturer expressly disclaims any liability or responsibility for incidental
damages caused by the product, including economic loss, loss of use of the product,
car rentals, or any other costs relating to the care and custody of the product. The
manufacturer disclaims liability or responsibility for any consequential damages
caused by the product or resulting from its use, including the cost of repairing or
replacing other property damaged by the product or caused by its use, whether or not
the product is working properly. The product is intended to deter unauthorized use of
the vehicles in which it is installed. The manufacturer does not warrant that the
PASSIVEARMING
This optional feature will arm your system automatically
upon leaving vehicle.
1. Turn ignition off and then open and close door.
2. LED will flash rapidly indicating system will arm in 30
seconds. If door is opened during this time, the
system will wait for door to close to start passive
arming and LED will come “on” solid.
3. If passive lock feature is turned “on” system will lock
doors upon arming.
ENABLE-REMOTEVALET
This operation disables the remote starter & alarm
functions..
1. Press & Release button #4 rapidly.
2. Press & hold the LOCK button for 5 seconds.
3. The system will chirp the horn/siren 5 times to
confirm remote valet mode has been activated.
DISABLE - REMOTE VALET
1. Press & Release button #4 rapidly.
2. Press & hold the LOCK button for 5 seconds.
3. The system will chirp the horn/siren 2 times to
confirm remote valet mode has been deactivated.
CARJACKMODE- Optional Feature
When activated, system waits 30 seconds then flashes LED rapidly
for 30 seconds, then chirps siren as warning for 10 seconds then
goes into full alarm .
ACTIVATING CAR JACK MODE Programmable - Mode 1, Mode 2
ctivates upon any of the following steps:
- Mode 1 & 2 While ignition is “on” press & release # button.
- Mode 1 & 2 Open door while ignition is “on”.
- Mode 2 only Each time ignition is turned “on”
DEACTIVATING CAR JACK MODE
1. During countdown period - Turn ignition “on” and press & release
antenna button.
2. fter full alarm - Turn ignition “off & on” and press and hold
antenna button for 8 seconds.

ALARM OPERATIONS

REMOTESTART VEHICLE
1. Press & hold the button for 3 seconds
2. Park lights will flash 1 time and siren will chirp 1 time.
3. When vehicle has started, system flashes lights 4 times
and lights remain “on” while vehicle is running.
Vehicle will continue to run for programmed runtime
(normally 15 minutes).

IDLEMODE (QuickStop Mode)
1. While vehicle is running with key, press the button
2. Siren will chirp 1 time and parking lights turn “on”.
3. Turn ignition “off” and vehicle will continue to run.
4. Exit vehicle and alarm can be armed and disarmed
while vehicle is running.
REMOTESTOP VEHICLE
1. Press the button for 3 seconds
2. Park lights will flash 2 times and siren will chirp 2 times.
Note: Pressing brake pedal or opening hood will stop
vehicle.
While
running
COLDSTART MODE
1. Ensure ignition key is in the “ON” position
2. Hold down the brake pedal.
3. Press the antenna button (valet) 1 time for each hour
that you would like the vehicle to start (ie 3 times =
every 3 hours)
4. Turn ignition key off within 10 seconds
5. LED on ntenna will flash in pulses equal to the time
set (ie 3 flashes confirms every 3 hours).
6. To C NCEL turn ignition key to the “ON” position.
LOWVOLTAGEMODE
1. Ensure vehicle is running with ignition key
2. Hold down the brake pedal.
3. Press and release button #4
4. Vehicle will give 1 siren/horn chirp to confirm
4. Turn ignition key off, vehicle will remain running.
5. Exit vehicle and press button 1 on the remote to arm
the alarm.
6. Vehicle will shut down and low voltage mode will be
activated.
7. Vehicle will now start if battery voltage drops below 9
volts.

Optional feature
- Doors will lock 3 seconds after ignition is turned “on”.
Does not lock doors if doors are open.
- Doors will unlock upon turning ignition “off”.
EMERGENCYDISARM MODE
Disables system if remote is lost or system malfunction.
ENTERING VALET MODE
1. Open door & Hood
2. Turn ignition “ON-OFF-ON-OFF-ON-OFF-ON-OFF”
3. System will respond with 2 chirps to confirm
disarming.
CARFINDER/4thCHANNEL
1. Press and hold the # button for 2 seconds
2. System flashes the siren & lights 5 times to help
find your vehicle in a crowded parking lot.
3. Optional 4th channel output can be connected to
activate additional features.

TRUNKRELEASE
1. Press and hold the UNLOCK button for 3 second
2. System disarms (2 chirps) and then trunk release
will activate (1 chirp)
3. This option does not activate when ignition key is in
the “on” position.

SILENTARM&DISARM
1.Press & Release Button 3
2. Press the Lock or Unlock Button
3 System will rm or Disarm without siren / horn
chirps.
4. Next time system is arm or disarmed siren / horn
will chirp normally.
ARMSYSTEM&LOCKDOORS
1. Press & release the LOCK button
2. Park lights will flash 1 time and siren will chirp 1
time.
3. Doors will lock
4. larm system arms. larm sensors activate and
LED starts flashing within 5 seconds.
DISARM SYSTEM & UNLOCK DOORS
1. Press & release the UNLOCK button.
2. Park lights flash 2 times and siren will chirp 2 times.
3. Doors will unlock.
4. larm system disarms & LED stops flashing.
If siren chirps 3 times alarm was triggered - see system
diagnostics
Op ional Driver’s Door Unlock Fea ure
This optional feature allows you to unlock the driver’s
door independently from the other doors.
1. Press & release the UNLOCK button once to unlock
driver’s door
2. Press & release the UNLOCK button a second time
within 2 seconds to unlock all doors.
PANICMODE
1. Press & hold the LOCK button for 5 seconds
2. Park lights will flash and siren will activate.
PANIC MODE DISABLE
- Press LOCK button to disable and arm system.
- Press UNLOCK button to disable and disarm
system.
- Panic Mode will shut off after 60 seconds if not
3 sec.

Disables alarm system.
ENTERING VALET MODE
1. While ignition is “on” press and hold the antenna
button for 5 seconds until siren chirps 5 times.
2. larm and remote start functions will be disabled
and LED will be “on” steady. Door-locks and trunk
release are still operational.
EXITING VALET MODE
1. While ignition is “on” press and hold the antenna
button for 5 seconds until siren chirps 2 times.
Note: System can be programmed into “High Security
Mode” to enhance or disable this feature, check with
installation center.
