other hazards.
CAUTION The user of this product is solely responsible for observing safe driving practices. Do NOT oper-
ate your Unavi system while driving – park the vehicle rst. Please do NOT use the navigation

NOTICE The information in this document, hardware and software versions are subject to change without
notice and should not be construed as a commitment by Unavi USA, Inc. Unavi assumes no
responsibility for any errors that may appear in this document.

4
In no event shall Unavi be liable for incidental or consequential damages arising from use of this document or the hardware and software
described in this document. Photos are non-binding. The manufacturer and importer do not take responsibility for any printing errors.
For your safety, please do not operate this unit while driving. Be sure the vehicle is at a complete stop and parked in a legal manner when
the driver is operating this unit. As a driver you are solely responsible for your road safety.
This navigation system should not be used in place of the driver’s own judgment. Any route suggestions made by this navigation system
does not take into account, trafc conditions, speed limits, road conditions, constructions, etc. Disregard route suggestions made by the
navigation system if it suggests any illegal maneuvers or would place your vehicle in hazardous situations.
The advice provided by the navigation system is to be regarded only as a suggestion(s). There may be situations where the navigation
system displays the vehicle’s location incorrectly, fails to suggest the shortest course, and/or fails to direct you to your desired destination.
In such situations, rely on your own driving judgment, taking into account current driving conditions.
Do not use the navigation system to route you to emergency services. The database does not contain a complete list or locations of
emergency service providers such as police, re stations, hospitals and clinics. Please use your best judgment and your ability to ask for
directions in these situations.
In order to avoid a trafc accident or trafc offense, remember that actual road conditions and trafc regulations take precedence over the
information contained in the navigation system. Unavi will not be responsible for any accidents that occur because the user did not follow
the trafc regulations or actual situations.

including weight, height, width, load, and/or speed restrictions; road conditions including road slope, grade, and/or surface conditions;
obstruction information including bridge and tunnel height and width, and/or the prevailing driving and/or road conditions. Always rely on
your own driving judgment, taking into account current driving conditions.
Minimize the amount of time spent viewing the screen while driving.

Do not cover up product with a towel or cloth-like material. Increased internal temperature may cause product to malfunction or become
a re hazard.
Storing this product in a humid or dusty location may result in product malfunction or failure.
Normal operating temperature is between 14 F ~ 140 F. Long-term exposure and extended use of this system outside of the operating
temperature can cause the system to malfunction.
This product must be used only with manufacturer’s approved parts and accessories. If not, any warranty claims can be denied.
Ideal operating voltage of this system is DC 12V.
The touch screen responds best to a light touch from the pad of your nger. Using excessive force or placing any sharp or metallic objects
near the screen may damage the tempered glass surface and will void your warranty.
During installation, please make sure the vent holes are not obstructed as it may lead to product malfunction.
The MUTE function in the Unavi system will only work with the aftermarket built-in speaker. It can take up to 3 seconds for the sound to
reappear after MUTE is turned off.
If your unit is trying to acquire satellite signals for the rst time, it may take longer than normal to establish an initial position. If the unit is
powered on and outdoors with a clear view of the sky, this process should not take more than 5-10 minutes.
If the vehicle is left non-operational for an extended period of time, the GPS memory data may have been drained and will require at least
15 minutes of warming up to function properly.
Atmospheric conditions such as rain and fog can cause the GPS signal to fail. Driving inside tunnels, in between tall buildings, and highly
populated areas can also interfere with and diminish GPS signal reception. If your vehicle has a protective UV coating on its windshield and
has any electronic devices that require satellite signals, it may prevent your GPS from operating properly.
Depending on the location of the GPS receiver/antenna, temporary degradation in reception performance is also possible. GPS reception
rate may not be identical for all vehicles.

Read Before Use
1. SD Card Files
You may access les in the Unavi microSD Card using your computer if equipped with a Micro SD Card reader.
2. Root Directory Items: ‘MobileNavigator’ or ‘SpeedNavi’ - Map Data Folder
- These folders contain map les that are used by the navigation software. Please DO NOT attempt to tamper with the contents.
- For map updates, please contact the map company or call us for information regarding the release dates and purchasing information
If you are using the preloaded map version of iGO Primo, please visit www.naviextras.com.
3. Copying/Saving Files onto the microSD Card: Not for personal data storage
We do not advise using the microSD Card for anything other than its intended purpose, which is specically for the navigation software and its
related les. Adding personal les to the microSD Card can adversely affect the operating system and corrupt navigation functionalities. For
your convenience, the built-in USB port on the Unavi ‘Multi-Box’ will support most video, music, and image les.
4. Precautions to Avoid microSD Card Corruption
(1) Please do not place microSD Card near direct sunlight or other heating apparatus.
(2) Do not place near magnetic sources or electric elds.
(3) Do not place near water, drinks or where moisture is present.
(4) If you are storing the microSD Card separately, please make sure to keep it inside a case.
(5) When inserting a mini SD or microSD, use an adapter. Do not use an adapter which has metal parts other than the connectors exposed.
(6) Do not try to force the microSD Card into the multi-box slot as the microSD Card or multi-box may be damaged
(7) When ejecting the microSD Card, press it and hold until it clicks. It is unsafe to press the microSD Card and release your nger
immediately as it may shoot out.
*In any case, we encourage the user not to remove the microSD Card without contacting technical support for assistance and please always
make sure to properly ‘Eject’ the drive prior to disconnecting any removable disks from your PC.
If the microSD Card included with the Unavi system has been lost or damaged, there will be a fee to replace the microSD Card and
software. While it is possible to use SD standard or SDHC standard based cards, we cannot guarantee that products other than the
ofcial microSD card will work. To resolve this issue, a replacement ofcial microSD Card will have to be ordered.
