8. Troubleshooting
1> After connectin g the SWitl;h to a power ou1let, the LEOs do no t tum on.
Cheekthe connection of the powercord to the PoE Switch and the power outlet
Cheek thatthe poweroutlet is receiving power.
2> Whon I connect a computer to tho Switch's port, the Link/ACT LED turns on ,, but
tho 100Mbps LED remains off .
When the 100M bps LED is off, the computer'sconnection speed is 10 Mbps.
3> After I eonne<:1 my PCs to tho Switch , I am unable to share files.
1. Cheek the LEOs on the Switch. Make sure the Unk/ACT LED is on .
2. Cheek
the networi< cable. The minimum length of the cableis 1.5 meters and the
maximum length of the cable is 100 meters.
3. Disable
any software firewall program.
4. Verify
tha t you havefi le sharingenabled. Pleasecontact your Operating System
$upport for more information.
4> After I conne<:1 my PCs to tho Switch, I ca n only get onto the Internet from one
computer.
The SWitch is not designed to share Internet between multiplecomputers. You need to
get an Internet router.
5> Whore is the upl i nk port located on the Switch?
Since all the ports on the Switch areAuto- MDIX , an y of the portscan be used as an
upl ink port. If you still encount er probl ems or have any questions regardingthis PoE
switch pleasecon ta ct your localTechnicalsupport department.

8. Troubleshooting
1> After connecting the SWitch to a power outlet, the lEDs do not tum on.
Cheekthe connection of the powercord to the PoE Switch and the power outlet.
Cheek
that the power outletis receiving power.
2> Whon I connect a computer to the Switch's port, the Link/ACT LED turns on, but
the 100Mbps LED remains off.
When the 100Mbps LED isoff, the eomputo(sconnection speed is 10Mbps.
3> After I connect my PCa to the Switch, I am unable to share files.
1. Cheek the LEOson the Switch. Make sure the Unk/ACT LED Ison.
