1. PREFACE
Unication thanks you for purchasing the G1 product. Before using the G1 charger amplifier, please read this manual and follow the instructions for
correct charging and installation of the other accessories.
1-1 IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION
This charger is used for the G1 pager only. Please be aware of the following important information for the safety on using the G1 charger amplifier.
※Use your charger only with the original power adapter.
※Do not put a pager with a non-rechargeable battery inside into the charger.
(Using a rechargeable battery provided by Unication is recommended.)
※Keep your charger away from any dangerous environments with high temperature, high humidity,
dust, chemicals and corrosive materials.
※Do not disassemble your charger or power adapter.

4. INSTALLATION
4-1 Power Connection
G1 Charger Amplifier Power Source Option：
a. DC 12V Power Adapter－Plug Adapter plug on, and then plug DC Jack plug into G1 Charger
Amplifier DC12V power socket.
b. Vehicular Charging Adaptor Cable－Plug the vehicular charging adaptor cable into power
socket on the vehicle, and then plug DC Jack plug into G1 Charger Amplifier DC12V power
socket.
4-2 External Antenna Installation
G1 Charger Amplifier External Antenna Option:
a. Low Band Antenna
b. VHF/UHF
Please follow the instruction of the external antenna to install the antenna.
5. Function Instruction
5-1 CHARGING
5-1-1 CHARGING G1 UNIT
G1 Charger Amplifier should be used to G1 pager only. Before charging the G1 pager, please make
sure that the batteries inside the pager are rechargeable (Ni-MH) type battery.
(Recommendation: Please use the battery provided by Unication.)
Step 1. Please insert the pager into the charger’s pager pocket as in the following illustration:
Step 2. Once the pager is inserted correctly the charger amplifier will detect the battery and start
charging. When the pager is being charged, the charging LED will turn into orange.
Step 3. When the pager is fully charged, the charging LED will turn into green.
NOTE: When the charging hour or the charging voltage is exceeding, the charging LED will turn

red and flash to indicate the abnormal operations. Please remove the pager from the
charger to stop charging.
NOTE: The charging green LED will remain flashing if ambient temperature is below 0℃or
higher than 50℃. Please remove the pager from the charger to stop charging.
5-1-2 CHARGING SPARE BATTERY
The Unication’s G1 charger amplifier offers Ni-MH spare rechargeable batteries charging
functionality.
Step 1. Put the rechargeable batteries into battery pocket as following illustration:
(Recommendation: Please use the battery provided by Unication.)
Step 2. Once the Ni- MH rechargeable batteries are inserted correctly, the charger amplifier will
detect the battery and start charging. When the rechargeable batteries are being charged, the
charging LED will turn into orange.
Step 3. When the rechargeable batteries are fully charged, the LED will turn into green.
Step 4. When exceeding normal charging hour or charging voltage, the charging LED will turn red
and flash to indicate the abnormal operations. Please remove the spare batteries from the
charger amplifier to stop charging.
5-1-3 CHARGING EXTERNAL BLUETOOTH HEADSET
The Unication’s G1 charger amplifier offers the external Bluetooth headset charging functionality.
(※Please make sure the charging specification of your Bluetooth headset meets the charging
limitation (4.5 V ~ 6.5 V) of the G1 Charger Amplifier)
Step 1. Insert the Bluetooth charging cable to the Charger Bluetooth headset charging jack as
following illustration.

5-2 Voice Message Amplify
G1 Charger Amplifier supports to amplify the voice message of G1 Voice Pager as the following
steps:
Step 1. Put G1 Voice Pager on G1 Charger Amplifier.
Step 2. When G1 receives RF signal, G1 Charger Amplifier activates Speaker audio and plays voice
messages automatically.
Step 3. When user pulls out G1Pager from Charger Amplifier, Charger Amplifier stops amplifying
voice message. User can also turn off the G1 Pager to stop the amplifier.
5-3 External Equipment
G1 Charger Amplifier supports external equipment as Horn Speaker and Fire Alert Indicator. Also,
G1 Charger Amplifier can link to Unication Controller to control the power or level of external
equipments.
5-3-1 Horn Speaker
G1 Charger Amplifier support external Horn Speaker as the following steps:
Step 1. Put G1 Voice Pager on G1 Charger Amplifier.
Step 2. Link Horn Speaker Connector to Horn Speaker.
Step 3. When G1 receives RF signal, G1 Charger Amplifier activates Speaker audio and external
Horn Speaker, then plays voice messages automatically.
Step 4. When user pulls out G1Pager from Charger Amplifier, Charger Amplifier stops Horn
Speaker amplifying voice message.
Step 5. User can also turn off the G1 Pager to stop the Horn Speaker.
※Horn Speaker Connector Pin locates on rear side, following is the definition of 4 PIN:
5-3-2 Fire Alert Indicator
G1 Charger Amplifier support external Fire Alert Indicator as the following steps:
Step 1.Put G1 Voice Pager on G1 Charger Amplifier.
Step 2.Link DIN Jack cable to Fire Alert Indicator。
Step 3. When G1 Pager receive RF signals, G1 Charger Amplifier activates Fire Alert Indicator.

■ACCESSORY
Note: When PIN4 and PIN5 of DIN Jack are “Open”, Fire Alert Indicator blinks 10 seconds.
Otherwise, Fire Alert Indicator continues light till users press Reset Button when PIN4 and PIN5
are closure.
