Purge - For fan coil units with a 3-way valve at the
top or bottom of the riser network, you can set a
purge time that will flush the water through the coil
for 5 minutes. This ensures the water in the coil is
an appropriate temperature for the desired heated
or cooling.
Temperature Calibration - This setting is to be used
only when the thermostat placement may affect
the temperature reporting. If your thermostat is in
direct sunlight or next to a cold window, consider
calibrating the temperature to offset the factors
affecting the temperature reading.
Freeze Protection Sensor - Sensor attached in
front of coil monitors incoming air temperature and
sends signal if incoming air temperature reaches
0°C/32°F. Unit will enter freeze protection mode.
Drain Pan Overflow Sensor - Float sensor monitors
the level of water in the condensate drain pan. If
water level gets too high, the unit temporarily shuts
down to stop producing more condensation.
