LINTRODUCTION
YourMediaAirCleanerisahighefficiencyairfiltrationdevicedesignedtoremove
dirt,dust,pollenandothermicroscopicparticlesfromtheairpassingthroughit.For
the messydirt collectingjob it is givento perform,you will be surprisedat the
simplicityof itsoperationandcare.
HOW IT WORKS:
Dirtyairentersthe MediaAirCleanerbyway ofthe returnairductsysteminyour
home.Particlesarecollectedbythespecialpleatedfiltermedia.The pleatsprovide
an exceptionallylargefilteringface area in avery compactspace which allows
maximumdirtholdingcapacitieswithminimumairflowresistance,

APPLICATION
The air cleaners are used in forced
air heating, cooling and ventilating
systems,The air cleanershouldbe in-
stalledinthe systemsothatallthesys-
tem air is circulated through the air
cleaner. The air cleaner will only
remove the airborne contaminants
deliveredtoit.Maximumperformanceis
obtainedwhenthesystemblowerisset
forcontinuousoperation.
“InstallationRequirements
The bestlocationfortheaircleanerisin
thereturnairnexttotheblowercompart-
ment.In thislocation,the blowermotor
andcoolingcoilswillbekeptclean.
DONOT INSTALLTHE AIR CLEANER
IN THE DISCHARGEAIR DUCT.
Beforeinstallingtheaircleaner,consider
theapplication,Ifatransitionisrequired,
referto sectionentitled“TransitIons”.
The unitmustbe readilyaccessiblef
periodicinspectionand replacementW
media cartridgeto maintain maximum
efficiencyandtrouble-freeoperation.
●Air Conditioning
The air cleanershouldbe installedup-
streamofthecoolingcoil.Thiswilikeep
thecoilcleanandreduceairconditioning
coilmaintenance.Improvedcoolingeffi-
ciencyistheresuitwhichdirectlyaffects
energy costs.Aclean coil will reduce
utilitycosts,Failuretoreplacemediacan
causedamageto coolingsystem,

NOTE:Thefollowingisatypicalinstalla-
tion of the air cleaner on ahighboy
furnace(Fig.6). You may haveto alter
theinstallationtofityourapplication.
