Quick Start Guide
• DON’T operate any tube amp without
an output load (such as OX or a speaker)
• DON’T use OX with amps exceeding
150 Watts output
• DON’T expose OX to moisture or
liquids (no frosty beverages on top!)
• DON’T cover OX’s air vents
• DON’T connect anything other than
a guitar speaker cabinet to OX's
high-power SPEAKER output
TO AVOID GEAR MELTDOWN:
CAUTION!
RIG
Choose from six complete guitar cabinet
/ mic / room / effect setups. RIG presets
are easily customized with OX software.
LINE OUT
Adjusts the signal
level at OX’s
LINE/MON outputs.
HEADPHONE
Adjusts the volume of
stereo headphones
connected here.
ROOM
Instant access to mic’d studio ambience
and air. ROOM settings are easily
customized with OX software.
SPEAKER VOLUME
Adjusts the volume of the guitar cabinet connected
to OX’s rear panel. At position 0, the guitar speaker
is OFF for silent operation. Note: RIG and ROOM
knobs don't affect the speaker output.
Crank Up
Important: Power off your tube amp before connecting or disconnecting guitar speaker cables
Connect OX’s included power supply
Set OX’s rear panel IMPEDANCE knob to match your amp’s output impedance
Connect a ¼” speaker cable between your amp’s speaker output and OX's
red FROM AMPLIFIER input on the rear panel. (See reverse side for OX output connections.)

Tweak and Save Your Rigs
with FREE OX Software
OX includes free software
for Mac and iPad. With OX
software, RIG presets can be
wirelessly edited and stored
over OX’s built-in Wi-Fi
network.
Each RIG preset contains a
complete album-quality guitar tone —
including emulated speaker cabinets,
speaker mics, ambient room mics, and up
to four simultaneous effects.
Line / Monitor Outputs
•Connect OX’s rear panel LINE / MON OUT jacks
to the line-level inputs of a stereo monitor system
or other audio gear
•Use shielded ¼" balanced TRS or unbalanced
TS line / instrument cables (not speaker cables)
S/PDIF Digital Outputs
•Connect OX’s rear panel S/PDIF digital output(s) to the
digital input(s) of a computer audio interface or other
digital audio gear
•The Optical TOSLINK and coaxial RCA outputs
can be used at the same time
•Digital output levels can be adjusted using OX software
Headphones
•Connect stereo headphones to the ¼" jack
on OX’s front panel
Guitar Speaker Cabinet
•Connect a ¼" speaker cable between OX’s rear panel
TO SPEAKER jack and guitar speaker cabinet
•The connected guitar speaker cabinet should match
OX’s rear panel IMPEDANCE knob setting
