• Hang up Button: During a duplex call, press this button to hang up and exit the duplex communication state.
Return to the standby state.
• GROUP Button:A broadcasting function (one-to-many) to communicate with all other intercoms,
(default group = 1)just hold GROUP button and talk .Great for announcements or emergency calls
• Dial Button: When you select the channel you want to communicate with (except the local channel),
press this button,
it will send a call signal to the channel you selected, and ring the ringtone. If the line is busy,
If the line is busy, it will ring the busy tone and exit to standby mode
• MENU Button: Long press 3S to enter the menu settings, you can choose the local channel, A/B work group,

GROUP channel. Press VOL+ /VOL- to select the option you want to set, press the dial key to save and exit.
• VOL+ Button: Short press to increase the volume; in the menu setting state, short press to select options upward.
• VOL- Button: Short press to decrease the volume; in the menu setting state, short press to select options downward.
Set up instruction
1. Place the intercom near an AC power wall plug or power strip. Connect the power cable.
2. The LCD screen will be lighted. If it does not light, please check if it is connected?
3. Set different channel number for each device.
Long press the MENU button 3S, select a different number (1-9 optional, do not repeat), after selecting,
press the dial button to save and exit.
FAQs
1. Q: Can you talk at the same time as you make a phone call during duplex?
A: Yes, we have adopted the latest technology to realize full-duplex intercom, which frees your hands when
talking and makes your communication more convenient!
2.Q: If a machine is in A CODE, can a machine be in B CODE can communicate?
A: No, it must be in A CODE or B CODE at the same time to communicate, so be sure to be in the same
CODE before use.
3. Q: My usb cable is broken, can I use other brand micro usb cable as replacement?
A: Yes. This is a standard micro usb cable. all other branded micro usb cable with the same interface can
be used on this intercom. Please be noted: Don’t plug the usb cable vigorously, as this will break the
interface easily.
4. Q: Can I add additional intercom to this system?
A: Yes, you can add additional units from us to expand the system, and the designed capacity of the
system is 9 units maxium on every choosen frequency.

OPERATION
● Full Duplex function(One-to-One)
1. Select and press the number of the intercom you wish to talk to, and the LCD will display the number
you want to call and flash indicating you are ready to talk to that intercom.
2. Press the "Dial" button to begin a conversation with that intercom. While transmitting, your LCD display
will turn red (the LCD TX logo will also light up, and the call tone will also sound), indicating that you are
transmitting. When the called walkie-talkie receives call signaling, it will ring the caller's ringtone and the
LCD will display the caller's number to let you know who is calling you. Only needs to press "call" to enter
the call state. If you don't press the "Dial" button in 40S, it will think that no one is answering and exit to
standby mode. When in a call, press the "Hook" button to end the call.
***NOTE: Intercom radio communication use “Full duplex”, please make sure to check Under the same A/B
CODE filter before using
In order to ensure that your call is not disturbed. When you are on a call, you will occupy the local channel
and the channel of the called walkie-talkie. At this time, if someone calls the phone or the called walkie-
talkie, it will prompt a busy tone. The duplex talk lasts for 1 hour. If it exceeds 1 hour, it will automatically
exit and you need to reconnect.
● Group Function (One-to-Many )
Press "GROUP" to talk, you will see the logo be lighted up in red ,all other devices can hear you.To be able
to respond to a group conversation, you need to press “Group” on your intercom to talk back.
●Adjusting the volume
Fast press "VOL+" or "VOL-" to adjust the volume.

●Menu Settings
Long press the MENU button for 3 seconds to enter the menu function setting, short press the
MENU button to switch A/B from CHANNEL, press again to switch to the GROUP channel setting.
After the setting is completed, press the "Dial" "Hang up" "GROUP" key to save and exit.
●Change the Channel Number
After entering the menu setting state, CHANNEL will light up and the corresponding channel
number will flash.At this time, you only need to directly press the channel number you want to set
or use the VOL+/VOL- key to select the local channel you want to set.
●A/B CODE
After entering the menu setting state, press MENU once, CODE will light up, and the corresponding CODE
will flash. Use the VOL+/VOL- keys to select the A or B CODE you want.
●Change the GROUP Number
After entering the menu setting state, press MENU twice, the GROUP will light up, and the corresponding
GROUP channel will flash. You can directly press the signal you want to set or use the VOL+/VOL- key to
select the GROUP channel you want to set

●TROUBLE SHOOTING
● Faults during start-up
1) Ensure the power cable is connected and working properly
2) Verify AC/USB charge adapter and make sure using 5V/1A adapter
● Noise, no sound or other sound interference.
1) The distance between two devices should be over 2 meters and adjust the volume to decrease
interference
2) Verify all intercoms are at least 1 meter (3ft) away from any high current electrical equipments such as
motors, blowers, heaters or other radios, etc.
3) Do not put the power cable on the surface of the device.
4) Change to a new channel number.
● Connection failure or the receiver can not hear anything
1) Check whether all device are set to the same A/Bprivacy filters.
2) Check whether the devices are in the same Group number. If not, reset all devices to the same group
number.
IMPORTANT PRECAUTION
Note the following important precautions before using INTERCOM for the first time.
● There is precious electronic components in the device, Avoid to use it in very high temperature and
avoid strong impact.
● Avoid to use it in high humidity areas or in rain.

● Never try to open the INTERCOM or repair it by yourself to avoid unpredictable issues
● Clean the unit by wiping it with a soft dry towel. You can also use a soft cloth moistened with mild neutral
detergent and water. Never use thinner, benzene, or other volatile agents or alcohol to clean the unit
directly.
● Do not allow the unit to be exposed in sunlight for a long time, place it far away from any heat resources
(greater than 140 degree F).
