The Desk Extension can be installed on either the right or left side of your UPLIFT Desk V2 or V2-Commercial frame. These
Instructions apply to both the UPLIFT Desk C-Frame and T-Frame. Note: T-Frame desks are only available in a 30" depth,
C-Frame desks are available in both 24" and 30" depths.
Step 1 - Main Bracket Attachment
• Choose which side of your desk you want to attach the
Desk Extension.
• Orient the Main Bracket with the attachment tabs
on each side of the desk leg as shown and raise the
bracket up so that the desk frame side bracket slides
between the slots in the Main Bracket.
• Align the two holes on each side of the Main Bracket
attachment tabs with the holes in the UPLIFT V2 desk
frame.
• Loosely insert the four M8x10 Flat Head Screws through
the holes in the bracket and into the threaded holes
in the desk frame using the larger 5mm Allen Wrench.
Once all four screws have been started, tighten them
all with the Allen Wrench.

Step 2 - U-Bracket Attachment (optional)
If you think you might place more than 30 lbs of weight on
the Desk Extension, continue with this step. If you will not
be placing more than 30 lbs on the Desk Extension, you can
proceed to Step 3.
• Line up one U-Bracket on one side of the Main Bracket
as shown with the desk frame side bracket in the slot
of the U-Bracket. Make sure the larger holes in the
U-Bracket are facing out to accommodate the heads of
the attachment screws.
• Using the larger, 5mm Allen Wrench, loosely insert two
of the M6x10 Socket Head Screws. Once both screws are
started, tighten them securely with the Allen Wrench.
• Repeat this step with the second U-Bracket on the
other side of the Main Bracket.

Step 3 - Tray Attachment
A. Place the Tray on top of the Main Bracket and align the
front and back of the Tray with the front and back edges
of the desktop.
Caution: Until the Tray is secured to the Main Bracket
in the following step, be careful to ensure the Tray does
not fall off the bracket causing damage or injury.
B. From the underside of the Tray and Main Bracket, insert
the four M6x8 Flat Head Screws into the four threaded
holes in the Tray that most closely align with the slots in
the bottom of the Main Bracket. Don’t tighten the screws
until the next step.
C. Once all screws have been started, push the Tray against
the side of the desktop so there is no gap and tighten the
screws with the smaller 4mm Allen Wrench.
Step 4 - Tray Pad Application
A. Peel the backing off of the Tray Pad.
B. Align the Tray Pad within the walls of the Tray and press
down to afx to the Tray’s surface. Adhere the pad from
one end to the other to ensure it lays at without bumps
and bubbles.
Step 5 - Support Bracket Attachment (optional)
The Support Bracket is optional and designed for use on
30" deep desktops. If you do not plan on placing excessive
weight towards the front of the Tray or you are installing the
Desk Extension on a 24" deep desktop, you can skip this
step.
A. Line up the Support Bracket just past the front end of
your desk frame side bracket in the orientation shown
with the portion that bends up facing towards the Tray.
B. While holding the Support Bracket in place, make a
pencil mark at each of the two hole locations in the
bracket.
C. Pre-drill holes for the bracket screws where you made
your pencil marks. DRILL NO DEEPER THAN 1/2" deep to
avoid drilling through your desktop. We recommend
wrapping a piece of tape around your drill bit 1/2" from
the tip. Stop drilling just before the tape touches the
desktop.

D. Realign the Support Bracket holes with the pre-drilled
holes in the desktop and use a Phillips Head Screwdriver
to insert the two #10x5/8" Wood Screws. Be careful to not
over-tighten the screws to avoid stripping.
Step 6 - CPU Holder Adapter Attachment
(optional)
If you have purchased a CPU Holder Adapter (CPU002) and
a CPU Holder (CPU128), follow these assembly instructions.
Otherwise, skip to the next section.
A. Align the four holes on the tabs of the CPU Holder Adapter
with the threaded studs in the Main Bracket of the Desk
Extension with the long end of the CPU Adapter pointing
towards the front of the desk.
B. Install one of the Hex Nuts to each of the threaded studs
and tighten them with an adjustable wrench to x the
CPU Holder Adapter securely in place.
C. Once the CPU Holder Adapter is rmly attached, follow
the instructions included with the CPU Adapter and CPU
Holder for the remainder of the assembly.
Step 7 - Under Desk Hammock Attachment
(optional)
If you have purchased an Under Desk Hammock (ACC042),
follow these instructions. Otherwise, you are done with your
Desk Extension assembly.
Note: The Under Desk Hammock should only be used on
UPLIFT V2 Desks between 72"and 80"wide. It should not
be used with UPLIFT V2-Commercial Desks due to the
lower crossbar included with that frame.
A. Attach the carabiner clip at one end of the Under Desk
Hammock to the accessory mounting points on your
Desk Extension Main bracket as shown.
B. Align one of the Anchor Plates included with your UPLIFT
V2 Frame with two of the mounting points on the side of
the frame opposite the Desk Extension. Attach with two
M8x10 Machine Screws included with your desk frame
and secure with the larger 5mm Allen Wrench.
C. Attach the second carabiner clip at the other end of the
Under Desk Hammock to the Anchor Plate.
D. Refer to the instructions provided with the Under Desk
Hammock for additional information and adjustments.
