Step 3
Place monitor face down on a at surface, making sure not to
scratch the screen. Attach the VESA mount to the back of the
monitor using a Phillips screwdriver and the four (4) Monitor
screws provided. The mount is designed to t the industry stan-
dard VESA 75mm & 100mm hole patterns. Note: Make sure the
tab on the VESA mount is facing the top of the monitor.
Step 4
Slide the VESA mount down into the slot at the end of the Spring
arm until you hear it click in place.
When you move the monitor to new position, the arm should
hold that position. If it doesn’t, you’ll need to adjust the arm’s
counterbalance. Use the 5mm Allen wrench on the set-screw
located at the top-center of the Spring arm.
If the monitor is too heavy and pulls the arm down, turn toward
the “+” to increase arm resistance. If the monitor is too light
and rises up, turn toward “-” to reduce arm resistance. Keep
adjusting until the arm holds your monitor in place regardless
of where you move it.
Step 5
You can run your montior’s wires through the built-in wire man-
agement features.
Under the Spring arm, you can press the wires into this clip.
(see g. 1).
Inside the Extension arm is a channel accessible by a removable
cover. Slide the cover up & out to place your wires, then replace
the cover in the reverse motion, in & down. (see gs 2-3)
Step 6 Monitor Ergonomics
Screen Distance: Set screens about an arm’s length (approxi-
mately 18’’-28’’) from your eyes. If print is too hard to read, it is
better to make the print larger on your screen than to move the
screen closer.
Monitor Height: The top of the monitor should be level with
your eyes.
Monitor Tilt: The monitor should be tilted slightly up so it’s eas-
ier to see the screen when the top of the monitor is level with
your eyes. If the ball-joint holding the monitor does not move,
loosen each screw using the 4mm Allen wrench. This should
only take a couple of turns, each. If you loosen too much, and
the monitor does not stay in place, tighten slightly.
