along its bottom, as well as the burial and,
when necessary, insulation (against freezing)

coverdepthoverthecrownofthetankis0.75
m,andthebottomoftheexcavationshouldbe
leveledandcompacted.
Theholdingtankcanbeliftedintotheexcava-
tionusingtheropesontopofthetankorlift-
ingbeltsandtheshacklesinthetank.
Arrangedrainageforexcavationsmadeinclay
orrock,topreventtheaccumulationofsurface
water, which may put pressure on the tank.
Maximumgroundwaterlevelfrombottomof
tankis0,5m.
TheholdingtankisanchoredusingtheUponor
anchoringsystem.Toanchortheholdingtank,
three anchoring systems are needed, each
comprisingtwoanchorplatesandastrapping
belt with a ratchet tightener. The strapping
beltpositionsareindicatedbyanchorsymbols
( ) in the tank. Installation instructions are
provided with the anchoring system. Lay the
tankhorizontallyonthebottomoftheexcava-
tion.
Thetankcanalso beanchoredtoa concrete
slab.Inthiscase,youshouldcasta10cmthick
concreteslabonthebottomoftheexcavation.
During casting, six stainless steel fastening
shacklesshouldbesunkintheconcretearound
theperimeterofthetank,atthesamepoints
as the anchor symbols in the tank. In a rock
base,usewedgeanchorsinthesamemanner.
Aftertheslabhashardened,levelaten-centi-
metrelayerofsandontopofitandposition
the tank horizontally on the sand bed. Place
non-stretchstrappingbeltsoverthetank;fas-
ten them onto the shackles in the slab, and
tightenthemusingtheirtighteners.
Removetheprotectiveplugfromthetank,ap-
plysomelubricantandinserttheaccesspipe
socket into the sealing. Push the pipe down
and position the inlet correctly.The connec-
tionbetweentheaccesspipeandthetankis
tight for maximum impermeability. Position
theaccesspipesothattheconnectiononits
sidecanbeconnectedwiththedrainpipefrom
thehouse,andconnectthem.Duringbackll-
ing,checkthattheaccesspiperemainsverti-
cal. If required, you can cut the access pipe
shorter so that its screw cap remains visible,
justabovetheground.
