Limpieza
No sumerja nunca su escáner Uranochip®en líquido ni lo coloque
tampoco en ningún equipo de esterilización. Puede limpiarlo con un paño
antibacteriano.
Eliminación de productos y de baterías usadas
(RAEE) no deben mezclarse con los residuos domésticos generales. Para
su correcto tratamiento, recuperación y reciclaje, lleve este producto a los
puntos de reciclaje designados, donde será aceptado de manera
gratuita. De manera alternativa, en algunos países, podrá devolver los
productos al comercio minorista donde los adquirió y comprar un nuevo
producto equivalente. La eliminación correcta de este producto ayudará
a ahorrar recursos muy valiosos y evitar cualquier tipo de efecto negativo
en la salud humana y en el medioambiente, que en cambio podrían
producirse en caso de realizarse una manipulación inadecuada de los
productos.
Garantía
El escáner identificador Uranochip®se suministra con una garantía de
devolución de hasta 2 años a partir de la fecha de compra. La garantía
está limitada a todo tipo de defectos en los componentes, los materiales
o la fabricación, incluidos cualesquiera defectos de mano de obra en
condiciones de uso normales. Esta garantía no cubre las averías que
puedan producirse a raíz de uso indebido, negligencia o desensamblaje.
En caso de producirse un fallo que esté cubierto por la garantía, el
fabricante, a su sola discreción, reemplazará o reparará el producto
gratuitamente. En el caso de que necesite asistencia con relación a la
garantía, primero deberá ponerse en contacto con el distribuidor en
[e-mail]. Sus derechos legales no se verán afectados.
Exención de responsabilidades
El escáner identificador Uranochip®y sus complementos asociados no
tienen como finalidad reemplazar los consejos veterinarios tradicionales.
No aceptamos responsabilidad alguna por cualesquiera pérdidas, daños
u honorarios que puedan surgir a raíz del uso de este producto.

Cómo realizar una lectura
Escáner identificador de microchip Uranochip®
El Escáner identificador de microchip Uranochip®cumple con las
normas ISO 11784 e ISO 11785. El escáner identificador Uranochip®se
suministra con un cable USB para cargar su batería interna recargable.
Recarga
Antes de usar el escáner Uranochip®por primera vez, deberá cargarlo
durante 3 horas y media.

el cable USB en la sección posterior del escáner y en el puerto USB
disponible de un ordenador o de un cargador de pared. Durante el ciclo

do de cargar definitivamente, pulse el botón de inicio y la pantalla le
informará sobre si la batería «se está cargando» [“charging”] «está
cargada» [“charged”].

Escaneo
Para iniciar su escáner identificador Uranochip®, solo tiene que pulsar el
símbolo de activación/desactivación (On/Off) que encontrará en el panel
posterior y soltarlo. La pantalla mostrará “Halo Scanner Scanning” [«Escá-
ner identificador Halo escaneando»] y el escáner identificador emitirá un
único pitido. Si el escáner no encuentra ningún microchip válido en un
plazo de 20 segundos, la pantalla mostrará el mensaje “No Tag Found”
[«No se ha encontrado ninguna etiqueta»] y el escáner volverá a emitir de
nuevo un único pitido. Para volver a realizar un escaneo, pulse de nuevo
el mismo símbolo . El escáner Uranochip®se apagará automáticamen-
te una vez hayan transcurrido 50 segundos.
La superficie exterior de su escáner Uranochip®es el área de escaneo y,
por lo tanto, cuando se identifique un microchip válido, el escáner emitirá
un pitido doble y el número del microchip se mostrará en la pantalla.
Para consultar los números previamente escaneados, espere hasta que
el escáner se haya apagado. A continuación, pulse durante 4 segundos
el botón de activación situado en la sección posterior y suéltelo. Para
desplazarse por la lista, pulse el botón de activación una sola vez para ver
el número siguiente. Para salir de este modo, pulse el botón de activación
durante 4 segundos y suéltelo.

Your Uranochip®Scanner should never be immersed in liquid or placed
in any sterilization equipment. It can be wiped with an antibacterial wipe.
Disposal of products and used batteries

Warranty
The Uranochip®Scanner comes with a 2 year return to base warranty
from the date of purchase. The warranty is limited to any defects in
materials components or manufacture including any defects in
workmanship under normal use. Faults arising from misuse, neglect,
disassembly are not covered by this warranty.
If a fault arises which is covered by the warranty then the manufacturer will
either replace or repair the product free of charge at the manufacturer’s
discretion. In the event of requiring warranty support then the distributor
should be contacted in the first instance on [e-mail]. Your
statutory rights are not affected.

How to take a reading
Uranochip®Microchip Scanner
The Uranochip®Microchip Scanner complies with ISO 11784 and ISO
11785 norms. The Uranochip®Scanner is supplied with a USB lead for
charging its internal rechargeable battery.
Recharging
Before using your Uranochip®Scanner for the first time, it will need to be
charged for 3½ hours.

the back of the Uranochip®Scanner and into an available USB port on
either a computer or wall plugin charger. During the charging cycle, the
display will switch off. To see if the battery has finished charging, press the
start button and the display screen will inform you if it is “charging” or
“charged”.

Scanning
To start your Uranochip®Scanner, simply push the on/off symbol on the
back panel and release. The display will show “Halo Scanner Scanning”
and the scanner will emit a single beep. If no valid microchip is found
within 20 seconds, then the display will show “No Tag Found” and the
scanner will again emit a single beep. To start scanning again just press
the symbol again. The Uranochip®Scanner will automatically switch off
after 50 seconds.
The outer surface of your Uranochip®Scanner is the scanning area and
when a valid microchip is found the scanner will emit a double beep and
the microchip number will be shown on the display.
To review previously scanned numbers, wait until the scanner has
powered down. Then press and hold the power button on the back for
four seconds and then release. To scroll through the list, press the power
button once to see the next number. To exit this mode, press and hold the
power button for four seconds and release.
