SECURITY INFORMATION
This product was designed and manufactured to ensure your safety. The security mechanisms
incorporated in the product will protect you if you observe the following procedures for installation,
use and troubleshooting: read carefully the following instructions and observe them before
handling and installing your hardware. Save these instructions so that you can refer to later.
Before your starting, familiarize yourself with how to operation, so that you can keep the scooter
in the best condition. Otherwise you will get crashed, fell down or lose control.
When you are learning the scooter, make sure that all safely measures are made. Like wearing a
helmet, knee pads, elbow pads, wrist protection and other protective gears.
Check the condition of your product before each use.
Self-balancing electric scooter is not allowed on the motor vehicle lanes.
Children, the elderly, pregnant women are not allowed to drive. This device may be used by
children 8 years of age or older, and those with reduced physical, sensory or mental capacity or
lack of experience or knowledge, if they are properly supervised. s or if instructions for the safe
use of the device have been given to them and the risks involved have been apprehended. Children
should be supervised to make sure they do not play with the device. Never allow a child to use the
product in the absence of an adult, always check the correct charge of the battery before use (see
charging section of the manual).
Do not drive after drinking or taking drugs. Do not carry items when driving. When driving the
scooter, you should comply with local traffic laws, and give way to pedestrians. Take the bike paths.
Please be alert to things in front of you, maintain balance when encounter uneven ground.
Be aware of surrounding things like sidewalks, bumps or uneven floors. Do not use the product on
steps higher than 3cm, on oily surfaces, frozen, or on damaged roads, or with work signaling.
In the process of driving, make ensure that the feet are always stepping on the mat, and clean.
Please wear appropriate clothes, this will help you to handle emergencies better.
Self-balancing electric scooter can only load one person, cannot load two people or more than two
people.
Do not start or stop suddenly. Avoid driving on steep slopes.
Do not drive in dimly lit or dark places.
Do not use in places without public lighting.
GENERALITIES

Use only parts and accessories (power supply...) specified by the manufacturer.

SECURITY
To avoid fire or electric shock, do not place the appliance near objects filled with liquid.
If a heavy object or liquid should fall on the device, have it checked by qualified personnel before
using it again.
In operation, the surface of the housing gives off heat; therefore, do not cover it or put an object
on it.

POWER SUPPLY
The charger supplied with the product is specific to the product. Using another charger may
damage the product or cause accidents.
Do not touch substances leaking from the battery. Do not let animals and children touch the
battery. Batteries contain dangerous substances, do not open the battery, do not insert anything
into the battery.
Before storing, completely discharge your Segway to prevent the battery from being discharged
excessively due to a long time without use.
If the storage temperature is below 0 ° C, do not charge the Segway. You can place it in a
temperate environment (over 10 ° C) for loading.
Warning! Air transport of your product can be regulated or prohibited because of the lithium
battery.
PRODUCT LOCATION

CLEANING
Never open the product to clean otherwise will void the warranty.
Unplug the product from the wall outlet before cleaning the product.

TROUBLESHOOTING

HOW TO USE
Self-balancing electric scooter adapts dynamic equilibrium, using internal gyroscope and
acceleration sensors. The status of the electric scooter is controlled by the center-of
gravity. And it is adjusted by motor which is controlled by servo control system. When
you lean forward, it will sense your actions to accelerate. When you need to swerve, slow
it down and move your foot forwards or backwards then the center-of gravity of the body
moves left or right therefore the scooter can realize left or right.
Self-balancing electric scooter has inertial dynamic stabilization system, so it can keep
anterior-posterior balance but cannot guarantee the left and right. So, when swerved, the
scooter need operating slowing, otherwise, you may get injured because of the large
centrifugal force.
Step 1: Press the power switch to turn on self-balancing electric scooter. A green light
will come on to indicate that the product is on.
Step 2: Firstly, step on one foot trigger the foot-switch, the system will come into self-
balancing condition. Then step on the other foot to operate it.
Step 3: Take control of the scooter forwards or backwards, do remember magnitude of
your body shouldn’t be violently.
Step 4: Control the left and right direction of the scooter.
Step 5: Get off. Before you get off, make sure that the scooter is still, then step off one
foot, finally the other foot.
NOTE: If the user exceeds the maximum speed, or if the Segway is not used correctly
(non-horizontal platform), the latter will sound an alarm tone (the same as on ignition).

When using the product, if it has almost no battery, a beep will sound (the same as the
ignition). It will then load the product.
When the power is low, there is not enough power for normal driving, do not continue to
use the product, it is very easy to fall and it will also affect the life of the battery.
When you switch on the Segway, you will hear an audible signal, which means that the
warning devices, seen above, function correctly.
Sound alerts:
1 beep: normal operation on ignition.
2 beeps: Calibration error or misplaced user's weight, go down, turn off and on again.
Calibrate the product
1. Switch off the product. A beep will sound to indicate that the product is off.
2. Align the surface of the two flat pedals.
3. Press and stay press the button On/Off.
4. The battery indicator lights up first, stay pressed until the Segway beeps once,
then release the button.
5. The product is calibrated.
Load the product
1. Make sure the charging connector is clean and dry.
2. Start by plugging the switch into the power interface, then plug the other end of the
charger into the product.
3. When the red indicator lights up on the charger, it means that the charging is done
correctly, if it is not the case, check that the line is connected correctly.
4. When the LED on the charger changes from red to green, the battery is fully
charged. Stop loading. Charge time too long could affect the life of the battery.

GUARANTEE CONDITIONS
URBANGLIDE’s available guarantee is valid for 2 years for your product and 3 months
for its accessories (power supply, cables...).
URBANGLIDE guarantees your products against any manufacturing or assembling faults.
This guarantee only applies to the first purchase of your product by the end user and is
not transferable if the device is resold. This warranty does not cover any incompatibilities
found by end user apart from recommendations specified on the packaging, or any other
incompatibility generated by other hardware or software on the computer that is
connected to your product.
Proof of purchase must be presented to our services to apply URBANGLIDE guarantee.
The guarantee doesn’t cover failures or defects induced by non-compliance to this
manual’s instructions, neglect, alteration, improper installation or maintenance,
reparation or alteration not authorized by URBANGLIDE, improper tests, accident or
external factor such as (not exhaustive) excessive heat or dampness, power failures or
bad installation / uninstalling of your product.
The only contractual obligation endorsed by URBANGLIDE pertains to the reparation or
replacement of a defective product. In no case, URBANGLIDE cannot be held responsible
for any loss of data, or its consequences induced by operational fault or a product failure.
In any case, URBANGLIDE won't be bound to any financial responsibility for any amount
exceeding the value of the product purchased by the end user.
This guarantee is well defined and cannot be modified, decreased or increased without
written consent from URBANGLIDE. In addition, URBANGLIDE cannot be held
responsible for any technical advice or service provided in relation to your product.
You are not the grantee of this current warranty. This warranty covers only your product
and is governed by French law.

INFORMATIONS DE SECURITE
Cet appareil a été conçu et fabriqué afin d’assurer votre sécurité. Les mécanismes de sécurité
intégrés au produit vous protègeront si vous observez les procédures d’installation, d’utilisation et
de dépannage suivantes. Lisez attentivement les instructions ci-après et respectez-les avant toute
manipulation et installation de votre matériel. Conservez ces instructions afin de pouvoir vous y
référer ultérieurement.
Avant votre 1ere utilisation, familiarisez-vous avec les méthodes de fonctionnement. Ainsi vous
éviterez d’endommager le gyropode ou de perdre le contrôle de celui-ci.
Assurez-vous de prendre toutes les mesures de sécurité comme : porter un casque, des
genouillères, coudières, des protections pour les poignets et autres équipements de protection.
Vérifiez le bon état de marche de votre produit avant chaque utilisation.
Le gyropode n’est pas autorisé à emprunter les voies réservées aux véhicules à moteur.
Nous conseillons aux enfants, personnes âgées et femmes enceintes de ne pas utiliser le gyropode.
Cet appareil peut être utilisé par des enfants âgés d'au moins 8 ans et par des personnes ayant
des capacités physiques, sensorielles ou mentales réduites ou dénuées d’expérience ou de
connaissance, s'ils (si elles) sont correctement surveillé(e)s ou si des instructions relatives à
l'utilisation de l'appareil en toute sécurité leur ont été données et si les risques encourus ont été
appréhendés. Il convient de surveiller les enfants pour s’assurer qu’ils ne jouent pas avec l’appareil.
Ne jamais laisser un enfant utiliser le produit en l’absence d’un adulte, toujours vérifier avant toute
utilisation la bonne charge de la batterie (voir section de charge du manuel).
Ne pas utiliser après avoir bu ou pris des stupéfiants. Ne transportez pas d'objets lorsque vous
conduisez. Lors de l’utilisation du gyropode, vous devez respecter les lois de la circulation locale,
et de donner la priorité aux piétons. Empruntez les pistes cyclables.
Soyez attentif aux choses environnantes, comme les trottoirs, bosses ou sols inégaux. Ne pas
utiliser le produit sur des marches d’une hauteur supérieur à 3cm, sur une surface huileuse, gelée,
ou sur des routes endommagées ou avec signalisation de travaux.
Pendant l’utilisation du gyropode, faites en sorte que les pieds soient toujours bien posés et
propres.
Portez des vêtements appropriés, cela vous aidera en cas de chute. Le gyropode est conçu pour
transporter une seule personne à la fois. Ne pas démarrer ou arrêter subitement. Évitez de conduire
sur des pentes raides. Nepas utiliser dans des endroits dépourvus d’éclairage public.
GENERALITES
Ne secouez pas le produit sous peine de l’endommager.
N’utilisez que des pièces et accessoires (bloc d’alimentation…) préconisés par le fabricant.
Les illustrations du produit peuvent varier du produit actuel.
SECURITE
Afin d’éviter les incendies ou les chocs électriques, ne placez pas l’appareil à proximité d’objets
remplis de liquide.
Si un objet lourd ou du liquide venait à tomber sur l’appareil, faites-le vérifier par un personnel

ALIMENTATION ÉLECTRIQUE DU PRODUIT
Le chargeur fourni avec le produit est spécifique à ce dernier. L’utilisation d’un autre chargeur
pourrait endommager le produit ou entraîner des accidents.
Ne touchez pas les substances qui fuient de la batterie. Ne laissez pas les animaux et les enfants
toucher la batterie. Les batteries contiennent des substances dangereuses, n'ouvrez pas la batterie,
n'insérez rien dans la batterie.
Avant le rangement, déchargez complètement votre gyropode afin d'éviter que la batterie ne se
décharge outre mesure du fait d'une trop longue durée sans utilisation.
Si la température de stockage est inférieure à 0°C, ne chargez pas le gyropode. Vous pouvez le
placer dans un environnement tempéré (supérieur à 10°C) pour le chargement.
Attention ! Le transport par avion de votre gyropode peut être réglementé voir interdit en raison
de la batterie au lithium.
CHOIX DE L’EMPLACEMENT DU PRODUIT
Installez l’appareil loin de tout équipement à forte attraction tels que four à micro-ondes, gros
haut-parleurs…
NETTOYAGE
N’ouvrez jamais le produit pour le nettoyer sous peine de voir s’annuler la garantie.
Débranchez le produit de la prise murale avant de procéder au nettoyage du produit.
Nettoyez l’extérieur du produit à l’aide d’un chiffon humide. Ne jamais utiliser de tampon abrasif,
de poudre à récurer ou de solvants tels que l’alcool ou l’essence. Le nettoyage et l'entretien par
l'usager ne doivent pas être effectués par des enfants sans surveillance.
DEPANNAGE
Ne démontez pas et ne modifiez pas la batterie de l’appareil.
Confiez tout dépannage à du personnel qualifié. Un dépannage est nécessaire si l’appareil a été
endommagé de quelque manière que ce soit : fiche ou cordon d’alimentation endommagé, liquide
renversé sur le produit, introduction de petits objets dans le produit, exposition à la pluie, anomalie
de fonctionnement, chute du produit…
SECURITE –ENVIRONNEMENT
Votre produit URBANGLIDE a été testé en laboratoire ; il est conforme aux directives européennes
correspondant au marquage CE en vigueur au moment de sa commercialisation.
Une traçabilité des composants de votre produit URBANGLIDE a été réalisée ; elle nous a démontré
la conformité du produit à la directive environnementale (ROHS) en vigueur au moment de sa
commercialisation.
En fin de vie, ne pas jeter le produit à la poubelle mais le déposer à votre déchetterie qui se
chargera de faire passer le produit dans une filière de recyclage des déchets électriques,
électromécaniques et électroniques (DEEE).

PRESENTATION ET DETAILS DU PRODUIT
Le gyropode peut aller vers l'avant, vers l’arrière, changer de direction et s’arrêter, le
tout contrôlé par un « équilibre dynamique ». Doté d’un design élégant, il est facile à
contrôler et en plus ami de l’environnement (eco firendly).

COMMENT UTILISER LE GYROPODE
Le gyropode utilise l’équilibre dynamique, à l'aide de capteurs internes de gyroscope et
d'accélération. Le gyropode est contrôlé par le centre de gravité. Lorsque vous vous
penchez vers l'avant, le gyropode accélère. Lorsque vous avez besoin de ralentir,
basculer vers l’arrière. Pour tourner vers la gauche ou la droite, faites pression sur les
pédales gauche ou droite.
Le gyropode a un système de stabilisation dynamique inertielle, donc il peut garder un
équilibre antéro-postérieur, mais ne peut garantir la stabilité à gauche ou à droite.
Ralentissez lorsque vous souhaitez tourner à gauche ou à droite.
Etape 1 : Appuyez sur le bouton On/Off pour allumer le gyropode. Une lumière verte
s’allumera pour indiquer que le produit est bien allumé.
Etape 2 : Tout d'abord, posez un pied sur une pédale, le système entrera en équilibrage
automatique. Puis posez l'autre pied pour faire fonctionner le gyropode.
Etape 3 : Déplacez-vous en basculant vers l’avant pour avancer ou vers l’arrière pour
reculer. L’amplitude de vos mouvements ne doit pas être brusque. Vous pourriez perdre
l’équilibre.
Etape 4 : Appuyez plus fortement sur votre pied gauche pour tourner à droite. Appuyez
plus fortement sur votre pied droit pour tourner à gauche.
Etape 5 : Avant de descendre, assurez-vous de stabiliser le gyropode, puis retirez un
pied, puis l'autre pied.
REMARQUE : Si l’utilisateur dépasse la vitesse maximale, ou si le gyropode n’est pas
utilisé correctement (plateforme non horizontale), ce dernier émettra une sonorité d’alerte
(la même qu’à l’allumage).
Lors de l’utilisation du produit, si ce dernier n’a presque plus de batterie, un bip d’alerte
retentira (le même qu’à l’allumage). Il faudra alors charger le produit.

Lorsque l'alimentation est faible, il n’y a pas suffisamment d'énergie pour une conduite
normale, ne continuez pas d’utiliser le produit, il est alors très facile de tomber et cela
affectera également la durée de vie de la batterie.
A l’allumage du gyropode, vous entendrez un signal sonore, cela signifie que les dispositifs
d’alerte, vu ci-dessus, fonctionnent correctement.
Les alertes sons :
1 bip : fonctionnement normal à l’allumage.
2 bips : erreur de calibrage ou poids de l’utilisateur mal réparti, descendre, éteindre et
allumer de nouveau.
Calibrer le gyropode
1. Eteindre le gyropode. Un bip sonore retentira pour indiquer que le gyropode est
éteint.
2. Alignez la surface des deux pédales à plat.
3. Appuyez puis rester appuyez sur le bouton On/Off.
4. L’indicateur de batterie s’allume en 1er, restez appuyer jusqu’à ce que le gyropode
bip une fois, puis relâchez le bouton.
5. Le gyropode est calibré.
Charger le produit
1. Assurez-vous que le connecteur de charge est propre et sec.
2. Commencez par brancher l'interrupteur dans l'interface d'alimentation, puis branchez
l'autre extrémité du chargeur dans le gyropode.
3. Lorsque l'indicateur rouge s'allume sur le chargeur, cela signifie que le chargement
s'effectue correctement, si ce n'est pas le cas, vérifiez que la ligne est bien connectée.
4. Lorsque le voyant sur le chargeur passe du rouge au vert, cela signifie que la
batterie est complètement chargée. Arrêtez le chargement. Un temps de charge
trop long pourrait affecter la durée de vie de la batterie.
