carefully in order to make the most of REMI's features and to ensure its optimal service life. However, if you notice a

INSTALLATION
Download the application
The first step is to download the application on your
mobile.
WARNING: the app requires your smartphone to be
equipped with Bluetooth 4.0.
To install the application please click on one of the
following links:
Start the pairing process
Make sure that the Bluetooth of your smartphone is
activated and that it is connected to the Internet, via
3G or Wifi.
WARNING: REMI must not be associated by Bluetooth
to the smartphone during the association. If this is the
case, you need to remove REMI from the list of memo-
rized Bluetooth devices by your phone.
Press the "Start REMI Association" button at the
bottom of the screen on the application, and follow the
steps.
Choose your WiFi network
The application then displays the wifi networks detec-
ted by REMI. Choose your network and enter the
password.
WARNING: Do not connect REMI to a Wi-Fi network
that requires user identification. REMI will not be able
to provide an ID and won't be able to access the inter-
net on this type of network (ex: freewifi, hotel wifi,
professional wifi networks).
Plug REMI in
Connect your REMI to its power supply. A LED on the
left side of the hour will flash for a few seconds. As
soon as this LED stops flashing, REMI can be
associated with the app for 5 following minutes.
WARNING: do not press REMI’s Bluetooth button, this
will break the association.
Update - If REMI displays 0069/0126
If REMI displays 0069 or 0126 at startup, a manual
update is required. Do to this please follow the
instructions on page 5. If REMI displays another
number, you can skip this step.
Finish the installation
Follow the instructions on the screen and fill in the
requested information.
WARNING: Your smartphone must be connected to the
internet by WiFi or 3G to complete the installation.
In order to use REMI, you have to pair it with the mobile application. Here are the 6 steps you need to
follow to start using your REMI!

Connect REMI by USB Download the Update file
Download the update file named "update.bin" by
pressing on the button below. Make sure that its name
is "update.bin" or "update". Do not add or delete ".bin"
to the name.
IMPORTANT: This is the latest version of REMI. There is
no need to open it or try to read it. This file is not
readable by any conventional software.
Connect your REMI by USB to your computer. Your
REMI appears as a USB key.
Transfer the file to REMI
Copy the update file to your REMI without putting it in
any folder. Check that there is no suffix such as "(2)",
"(3)" in the file name. If you file you transferred
contains a suffix, you must rename it so that the name
is exactly "update.bin".

Plug REMI in
Connect your REMI to its power supply.
REMI displays a number «> 200
If REMI displays a number greater than 200,
you have successfully updated it!
Eject REMI from the computer
Eject your REMI from the computer in a secure way
(like a USB flash drive) - do not unplug it without
ejecting it.

If your REMI displays 0069 or 0126 at startup an update is needed. To do this you have to transfer to
REMI the file "update.bin". Here's what to do:

This button allows you to activate the
night light whenever you want. The
intensity can be adjusted from the “REMI”
tab of the application.
This button allows you to launch a timer
you have previously set in the "Bedtime"
tab of the application.
The duration of your timer will be
displayed on REMI and will decrease as a
countdown to zero. You can program up to
5 timers on REMI. To launch the one that
suits, you need to repeatedly press the
«Hourglass» button ( you will identify the
correct timer by its duration).
This button allows you to play random
music or bedtime stories. To change the
track, just click on the button again. You
can also disable this button from the
'Bedtime" section to prevent your child
from being tempted by anything but
sleeping!
Turning on the Bluetooth will allow you to
stream music to REMI, just like any other
Bluetooth speaker. For more information,
check page 25.

The "+" button allows you to pair up to 25 REMIs to the
application. After plugging REMI in, click on the “+” to
start the association. For more information, please check

This button allows you to listen to what's going on in your
child's room. For this option to work REMI and the appli-
cation must be connected to the Internet.

This slider allows you to set the sound threshold of the
baby monitor. When the noise in the room exceeds this
threshold, the application broadcasts the detected
sounds.
(1) If the noise remains below the set threshold for 15
seconds, the application mutes the sound.
(2) For continuous listening, set the activation threshold
to the far left.

The name of your child (provided in the settings of the
app) allows you to distinguish your REMIs (if you have few
of them).

Enable Notifications by pressing this button in order to be
notified on your smartphone when the noise exceeds the
configured threshold.
(1) Notifications are triggered if the noise has remained
more than 2 minutes below the configured activation
threshold.

The "Push to talk" button allows you to use the
Walkie-Talkie feature. To speak from your smartphone to
REMI, hold the key pressed. When you release it, your
voice is no longer broadcast by REMI.

Frequent Questions
Warning: Keep REMI out of your baby's reach. Never place REMI in the child's bed or playpen and do not attach it to
them either.
- For optimal noise detection, place REMI at least 1 meter away from your baby, but not more than 1.5 meters away.
- Place REMI on a stable, flat and horizontal surface.
- Place REMI relatively high for better detection of surrounding noise.
- Do not place REMI on a hot or vibrating surface.
FEATURES & WiFi :
In order to use the Baby Monitor and the Walkie-Talkie, REMI and your smartphone must be connected to a WiFi
network. Without internet connecion, you will not be able to benefit from those features.
REMI’S REACH:
When REMI is connected to a WiFi network, the reach of the baby monitor is potentially unlimited! Wherever you are,
as long as you have an internet connection, you can hear your baby, talk to them, and be notified when they wake up.
INTERFERENCE :
If you are using a wireless phone, a wireless video transmission system, a WiFi network, a microwave or a
Bluetooth device running at 2.4 GHz and you are experiencing interference problems between REMI and your
smartphone, move away REMI until the interference disappears.
Are there any chances that REMI overheats?
No, there is no such risk because REMI is relatively big for a Bluetooth device.
I don't hear the noise of the nursery, why?
REMI and your application must be connected to a WiFi network. You may have configured REMI to disconnect from
the Internet at a certain hour. Make sure that the " " icon does not appear in the alarms that you have previously
programmed in the “Bedtime” tab.
When I turn on the baby monitor, the sound turns off after a few seconds!
The application broadcasts the sound of the room when the Baby Monitor is in use. If the noise remains below the
configured noise threshold for 15 seconds, the application mutes the sound. For a continuous listening, set the
activation threshold to the far left.

This section represents a chronological frieze on the night of
your child according to two factors: the recorded noise and
the temperature of the room. The date of the recording is
displayed at the top. You will find here the following
elements:
The temperature
The noise level
The ambient light of the room
The desired bedtime
The desired wake up
time

This section contains the information calculated by REMI
for the selected night (bedtime, wake up time, sleep
duration and sleep score). The sleep score is obtained by
comparing the bedtime and the wake-up time desired by
the parents (adjustable in the “Bedtime” tab) and the
actual bedtime and wake up time of the child.

By clicking on the " " icon you will find the sleep tracker's
history.This feature gives you access to the statistics of
the nights recorded by REMI for the past 60 days.

stored on REMI and can be visualized
in the form of curves.
It is thus possible to compare the
sound curves of several nights thanks
to the history accessible by the
application.
You can check if your child has or does
not have recurring problems that
prevent them from sleeping!

REMI’S SENSORS
Good to know
Warning: REMI is not a healthcare device. If your child has trouble sleeping or you notice any abnormalities in their
sleep cycle, please consult a pediatrician.
REMI records the sound, the temperature and the ambient light of the child's room. When babies wake up at night,
they naturally make noises. This is how REMI allows you to follow the progress of the child's sleep, or identify a
recurring problem. REMI has 3 sensors:
- A high sensitivity microphone
- An ambient temperature sensor
- An ambient light sensor
SLEEP TRACKER & WiFi
If REMI's WiFi is deactivated, you will not be able to access the latest night tracking data from the app. REMI, howe-
ver, will continue to record the elements needed for the night tracker (noise, temperature and light) in its memory.
Every 24 hours, it synchronizes automatically so that you can have access to the track data of the previous night.
In the “Track” tab, you will find a sleep score that reflects
your child's sleep time in relation to the target time you
have set in the «Bedtime» tab.
The night score is calculated based on the parents' choice
of bedtime and wake-up time, and the bedtime and the
wake up time detected by REMI's noise sensor.
If the actual bedtime hours correspond to the desired hours
by the parents, the score is 100. If there is still noise when
the child should be sleeping, the score decreases.
How many nights are stored in the sleep tracker's history?
You can check the night stats for the last 60 nights.

In this section, you will find a list of the programmed
events (alarms) and relevant data for each of them – the
time, the name you entered and the days on which it will
be triggered.
EXAMPLE: on the illustration above, there is a wake-up
alarm scheduled for 8:00 am, the given name is "Wake up"
and it takes place every day of the week except weekends!

create as many alarms as you want.

You can customize each event according to several
parameters. Depending on your choice, icons
representing the different configurations appear on each
alarm:
(1) To edit an event, just click on it.

WiFi: At the specified
time, the WiFi will be

Face: This is the face that
REMI must display at the

specified time a song (or
a sound/ story) will be

CREATING AN EVENT
Good to know
Events Wifi waves
REMI is a sleep trainer. It tells your child when they have to get up and when they should stay in bed. When REMI
sleeps, it's not yet time to get up! To program the sleep trainer, you need to:
1. Click on the " + " icon at the top right of the "Bedtime schedule" tab.
2. Choose the time for the alarm.
3. Select the day or the days of the week when the alarm should activate itself.
4. Choose the face that REMI has to display at the indicated time.
5. Set other parameters if you want (music, WiFi, Play button etc...)
6. Verify that the event is enabled, then save it.
Your REMI is concerned about your exposure to the wifi waves. You can deactivate the WIFI at the time that you want
- at night, for example. REMI will continue to record information about the child's room and will synchronize with the
application as soon as the wifi is reactivated.
To program the time on which the WiFi will be turned off, you need to:
1. Click on the «+» icon at the top right of the "Bedtime scheduling " tab.
2. Select the time and the days on which you want the WiFi to be disabled.
3. Move the WiFi button to "Disabled".
4. Give the event a name to remind you of its usage. Example: WiFi OFF Night
3. Save the event. REMI will disable the WiFi at the specified time and day.
For the WiFi to be automatically enabled, you need to create a second event.
1. Click on the «+» icon at the top right of the "Bedtime scheduling " tab again.
2. Select the time and the days on which you want the WiFi to be enabled.
3. Move the WiFi button to "Enabled".
4. Give the event a name to remind you of its usage. Example: WiFi ON Morning.
5. Save the event. REMI will enable the WiFi at the specified time and day.
