INSTRUCCIONES IMPORTANTES
1. Lea las instrucciones contenidas en este manual
antes de hacer funcionar el tostador y guárdelo para
consultas futuras.
2. Para evitar el riesgo de descargas eléctricas, no
sumerja el tostador ni el cable eléctrico en agua ni en
otro tipo de líquidos.
3. Se requiere de una estricta supervisión cuando
el tostador se usa cerca de lugares donde hay
niños.
4. No deje el tostador desatendido cuando esté en
uso.
5. Siempre use el tostador sobre una supercie seca
y nivelada.
6. No use el tostador al aire libre.
7. Siempre desenchufe el tostador del tomacorriente
cuando no esté en uso y antes de limpiarlo.
8. No haga funcionar el tostador si está dañado, si no
funciona correctamente o si ha sufrido algún tipo de
daño. Diríjase a un centro de servicio técnico para
que lo reparen ya que se necesitan de herramientas
especiales.
9. Como norma de seguridad, el cable eléctrico se
debe revisar periódicamente para vericar que no
esté dañado. En caso de que el cable esté dañado
(aunque sean daños leves), lleve el tostador a un
centro de servicio técnico, no sólo el cable.
10. No deje el cable eléctrico colgando sobre una
mesa/mesón y evite que el cable esté en contacto
con supercies calientes. Deje que el tostador se
enfríe antes de enrollar el cable eléctrico alrededor
de la base para guardarlo.
11. Tenga cuidado de no tocar ninguna de las
supercies calientes del tostador; no lo guarde ni
lo cubra hasta que se encuentre completamente
frio.
12. No coloque el tostador sobre un quemador
eléctrico o a gas caliente ni tampoco cerca de ellos;
no coloque el tostador dentro de un horno caliente
ni dentro de un horno microondas.
13. No utilice limpiadores abrasivos, limpiadores
cáusticos, ni limpiadores de horno.
LIMPIEZA Y CUIDADO
1. Desenchufe el tostador y espere a que se enfríe.
2. Para retirar las migas, deslice la bandeja porta
migas que está debajo del tostador, vacíela y vuelva
a colocarla antes de usar el tostador nuevamente.
3. Limpie el exterior del tostador con un paño
levemente humedecido y luego pase un paño seco
y suave.
4. No introduzca el tostador en agua.
5. Para limpiar el interior del tostador, delo vuelta
sobre el lavaplatos y muévalo para que caigan las
migas.
6. El pan se puede quemar al usar el tostador. Deje
espacio suciente alrededor del horno para una
adecuada circulación de aire. Evite que el tostador
esté en contacto con cortinas, ropa de cama, ropa de
vestir, paños de cocina u otros materiales inamables
cuando está en funcionamiento. Es necesario tener

USO DOMESTICO.
USELO UNICAMENTE PARA LOS FINES PARA LOS
CUALES FUE DISEÑADO.
9. Use el tostador con la bandeja para migas
instalada y límpiela frecuentemente. No permita que
se acumulen migas en la bandeja.
10. No use el tostador para tostar alimentos que
contengan azúcar, mermeladas y jaleas.
11. El pan se puede quemar, por lo tanto, no use el
tostador cerca de materiales combustibles como
cortinas.
12. Si el cable eléctrico está dañado, debe ser
reemplazado por el fabricante, un centro de servicio
técnico o por una persona debidamente calicada
para evitar riesgos.
13. Este aparato no debe ser usado por personas
(incluyendo niños menores de 8 años) con
discapacidades físicas, sensoriales o mentales o
por personas que no cuenten con la experiencia y
conocimientos necesarios acerca del producto, a
menos que éstas sean supervisadas por una persona
competente durante su uso o hayan recibido la
capacitación necesaria.
14. Los niños deben ser supervisados en todo
momento para evitar que jueguen con el tostador.
15. La temperatura de las supercies del tostador
puede ser alta cuando está en uso.
16. El tostador no ha sido diseñado para ser operado
mediante un timer externo o por algún sistema de
control remoto.

ADVERTENCIA
Nunca intente sacar tostadas con mermelada,
muns, bagels u otros productos con un cuchillo
o con cualquier otro objeto ya que el contacto con
elementos vivos puede causar electrocución.
Deje que el aparato se enfríe, desenchúfelo y retire
con cuidado el pan.
Mantenga los artículos eléctricos fuera del alcance
de niños o personas enfermas.
No les permita usar aparatos sin la debida
supervisión.
La temperatura de las supercies exteriores puede
ser alta cuando el aparato está en uso.

FUNCIONES DE OPERACIÓN
1. Introduzca el enchufe en el tomacorriente.
2. Introduzca dos rodajas de pan, muns, o bagels
en las ranuras.
3. Seleccione el nivel de tostado deseado - No.1
a No.7 - con la perilla de control de tostado (No.1-
suave, No.7-oscuro).
Al usar el tostador por primera vez, le sugerimos
tostar en el No. 3. Dependiendo del tipo de pan y
de las preferencias del usuario, el nivel de tostado
puede ser diferente.
4. Baje la palanca hasta que enganche en la
posición correcta. El ciclo de tostado se inicia
automáticamente. Nota: Si el tostador no está
enchufado, la palanca de control no podrá
engancharse en la posición correcta.
5. El tostador se apaga al obtener el color de tostado
deseado y automáticamente se levanta la palanca.
El proceso de tostado se puede interrumpir en
cualquier momento presionando el botón Cancelar.
TOSTADO DE PAN CONGELADO
Para tostar pan congelado, introduzca el pan dentro
de las ranuras y seleccione el nivel de tostado. Baje
la palanca de control hasta que quede enganchada
en la posición correcta y luego presione el Botón
Descongelar.
RECALENTAR
El tostador permite recalentar las tostadas sin
tostarlas nuevamente. Para recalentar, introduzca
las tostadas en las ranuras, baje la palanca de control
hasta la posición correcta y luego presione el Botón
Recalentar.
Si el pan queda atascado dentro de la ranura,
desenchufe el tostador, y cuidadosamente saque el
pan, cuidando de no dañar ningún elemento.

IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS
1. Please read these instructions before operating
and retain for future reference.
2. To protect against electrical hazard do not
immerse any part of the appliance or cord in water
or any other liquid.
3. Close supervision is necessary when the appliance
is near children.
4. Do not leave the appliance unattended when in
use.
5. Always use the appliance on a dry, level surface.
6. Do not use this appliance outdoors.
7. Always unplug from the plug socket when not in
use and before cleaning.
8. Do not operate the appliance if damaged, after
an appliance malfunctions or it has been damaged
in any manner, return to the customer service
department for repair, because special purpose tools
are required.
9. In the interest of safety, regular periodic close
checks should be carried out on the supply cord
to ensure no damage is evident. Should there be
any signs that the cord is damaged in the slightest
degree, the entire appliance should be returned to
the customer service department.
10. Do not let the cord hang over the edge of a table
or counter or touch hot surfaces. Allow unit to cool
before wrapping cord around base for storage.
11. Care must be taken not to touch any hot surfaces,
do not store or cover the appliance until it has fully
cooled down.
12. Do not place this appliance on or near a hot gas
or electric burner, in or where it could touch a heated
oven, or a microwave oven.
13. Do not use harsh abrasives, caustic cleaners or
oven cleaners when cleaning this appliance.
14. Caution-bread may burn. When using this
appliance, allow adequate air space above and on all
sides for air circulation. Do not allow this appliance to
touch curtains, wall coverings, clothing, dishtowels
or other ammable materials during use. CAUTION
is required on surfaces where heat may cause a
problem-an insulated heat pad is recommended.
15. THIS APPLIANCE IS FOR HOUSEHOLD USE
ONLY. DO NOT USE THE APPLICACE FOR
ANYTHING OTHER THAN INTENDED USE.
16. Do not use the toaster without the slide out
crumb tray in place. The crumb try should be cleaned
regularly. Do not allow crumbs to build up in the tray.
17. Do not use this appliance with any foodstu
product containing sugar content or with products
containing jam or preserves.
18. The bread may burn, therefore do not use the
toaster near or below combustible material, such as
curtains.
19. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced
by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly
qualied persons in order to avoid a hazard.
20. This appliance is not intended for use by persons
(including children) with reduced physical, sensory
or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and
knowledge, unless they have been given supervision
or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a
person responsible for their safety.
21. Children should be supervised to ensure that they
do not play with the appliance.
22. The temperature of accessible surfaces may be
high when the appliance is operating .
23. The appliances are not intended to be operated
by means of an external timer or separate remote-
control system.
24. This appliance can be used by children aged
from 8 years and above and persons with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of
experience and knowledge if they have been given
supervision or instruction concerning use of the
appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards
involved. Children shall not play with the appliance.
Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by
children unless they are older than 8 and supervised.
Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of
children less than 8 years.
WARNING!!
Never attempt to extract jammed toast, muns,
bagels or any other item with a knife or any other
object, as contact with live elements may cause
electrocution.
Allow the appliance to cool down, unplug and
carefully remove the bread.
Keep electrical appliances out of reach from Children
or inrm persons.
Do not let them use the appliances without
supervision.
The temperature of accessible surfaces may be high
when the appliance is operating.

OPERATING TOASTER
1. Insert the plug into a suitable mains supply socket
and turn the power on.
2. Place up to two slices of bread, muns, or bagels
into bread slots.
3. Select the desired browning setting, from No.1 to
No.7 on the browning control knob.(No.1-lightest,
No.7-darkest).
When using the toaster for the rst time we suggest
you toast on number 3. Varying types of bread
and personal preference may require a dierent
browning setting.
4. Press the carriage control lever down until it
clicks into place. Toasting cycle will automatically
commence. Please note: if the toaster is not plugged
in and switched on at the power point the carriage
control lever will not click into place.
5. The toaster turns o when the desired toast color
is achieved and automatically raises the toast. The
toasting process can be stopped at any time by
pressing the cancel button.
6. Use the bread rack to heat up rolls or other bread.
Place the bread on the top of the rack. Please note:
Do not heat up more than 2 items at a time. Select
browning setting and press the carriage control lever
down to switch on the toaster. Toasting cycle will
automatically commence
TOASTING FROZEN BREAD
To toast frozen bread, place the bread into the
bread slots and select the desired Browning Setting.
Press the carriage control lever down until it clicks
into place then press the Frozen Button.
REHEATING TOAST: The toaster allows you to
reheat toast without additional toasting. To reheat,
place toast into bread slots, lower the carriage
control lever until it clicks into place and press the
Reheat Button.
In the unlikely event that the bread or crumpet
becomes jammed, switch the toaster o at the power
outlet, remove the plug from the supply socket and
carefully ease the bread out of the toaster, ensuring
that you do not damage the element.
CARE AND CLEANING
1. Always turn the power o, remove the plug and
allow the toaster to cool before cleaning.
2. To remove any crumbs from the toaster, slide out
the crumb tray from under the toaster, empty and
replace in the toaster before using it again.
3. Wipe the outside of the toaster with a slightly
dampened cloth and polish with a soft dry cloth.
Do not immerse the unit in water.
4. To clean the interior, turn the toaster upside down
over the sink and shake crumbs free.
