Installation and Assembly Manual.
Step 1. Make sure that the package contains the following items:
1. transparent PVC awning with “pockets” for the frame;
2. a fiberglass frame set (7 or 9 pieces depending on the awning model)
3. anchors with hinges
4. six corkscrews (10 for LetoTent 650)
5. six hooked pins
6. tension rope - 1 piece
7. self-tapping screws for securing the frame parts.
Step 2: Decide on the location of the LetoTent.
Decide where you want to install the LetoTent. Please keep the following in mind:
a) Choose a flat area, otherwise, the awning won’t close properly.
b) Determine the location of the awning opening, let's call it the front of the awning.
Thus, two anchors are on the sides of the structure, and you cannot enter or exit the
awning in these places. The awning can only be opened and closed in the front or
behind.
c) Make sure that there is at least 25 cm of passage around the awning. In the back
of the awning fromthe inside, there should be at least 40 cm of free space for folding
the awning since the awning folds inwards.
d) If possible, choose such place to open the awning, where there is the least
resistance to the headwind.
e) The length of the attached tension rope is the length required between two
anchors, this refers to the distance between the crossbars of the two anchors (on
which the hinges rotate).

Important: the location of the anchors must be determined very accurately. If the
corners are not precisely located, the awning will not be properly installed.
Therefore, please check the distance using the tape measure. The distance between
the outer edges of the anchors is 5 cm less than the size of the awning. For example,
for a 420 cm awning, the length should be 415 cm, and for a 550 cm awning –545
cm.
Temporarily use two hooked pins to determine the location of the anchors. Stick one
of the two pinsinto the ground where you planto placethe first corner anchor. Attach
the rope with a loop on one side to the pin;
insert the second pin into the rope loop on the other side, unwind and tighten it so
that the rope reaches its maximum length;
if done correctly, the end of the rope will automaticallybecome the seat of the second
anchor;
check the distance with a tape measure.
If you want to assemble the LetoTent over an already installed pool, also use a rope
and tape measure to locate the anchors. Stretch the rope over the pool from the two
ends, working in pairs, project the points on the ground using a plumb rule to mark
the location of anchors with the pins.
f) Use a hammer to drive the anchors into the ground at the locations of the two pins.
Thus, the hinges on the anchors should be located outside, otherwise, the item would
not fold.
Make sure that the anchor is hammered to the ground at a right angle.
If necessary, slightly turn the anchor to align its position. Turn the hinge assembly
on the anchors so that the pins are turned upwards, this will prevent them from
running into the ground.
Do not hammer the anchor too deep into the ground, leave some space for
unhindered 90-degree rotation of the hinge assembly to the right and left from the
vertical position.
Step 3: Insert the frame into the awning
а) Put the awning on the ground and unfold it, as shown in the instructions on the
video. This way, you will prepare the awning for inserting the ties to the
blue/red/gray tunnels.
Then, insert the fiberglass frame starting from the awning pole along the tunnels
(meridians) of the canvas (7 or 9, depending on the model);

b) assemble the parts of the fiberglass frame from the component parts into one (the
total length varies from 5 m to 10 m, depending on the model);
the beginnings and the ends of the ties are steel tubes without screw holes for putting
them onto the hinges, with holes of 2 mm at the ends and marking the “extreme arc”
for their fixing on the first and the last arc with a pin, as shown in the video.
the parts of the frame are joined together by steel tubes and fixed with screws into
the pre-prepared holes;
c) insert a part of the frame into the tunnel of the awning, working in pairs. One
person remains at the beginning of the tunnel and pushes the part from the side of
the canvas pole, placing it further, another person moves along, adjusting it and
making sure that the tie slides well, pulling and adjusting the canvas.
Silicone grease can be used to facilitate the process.
Each tunnel has an opening half way. In the first and the last tunnel, there are three
of them. Slide the shelf carefully through these holes, so that the frame ties can easily
pass into the next part of the tunnel.
d) Make sure that the fiberglass parts of the frame protrude from the poles of the
awning to the same length.
e) If the frame rod is placed in the tunnel, turn the part of the awning over the
previous tie and accurately align the already installed part.
If all parts of the frame are inserted into the tunnels, and the parts of the awning are
neatly stacked on top of each other, the tent is ready to be placed on the hinges.
Step 4: Place the awning with the frame on the hinges.
a) Take one side of the device and put the tubes onto the pins of one of the hinges
fixed on the anchor.
b) Put the awning frame onto the second hinge. This will require applying a little
more force.
c) Thus, make sure that the awning is installed on the ground in the shape of a
semicircle.
d) Now it is necessary to finally put the ends of the frame tubes on the pins of the
hinge. In order to do this, one person will need to stand inside the awning and pull
the extreme tie of the frame, in the middle between the hinges, the awning shall
flatten out and form a hemisphere as it unfolds.
e) Another person should stand outside and make sure so that the tubes do not escape
the pins and tighten up the hinge.

The most important is that the tube does not escape the central stationary pin, which
is located in the middle. When unfolding the awning, this frame tie plays the critical
role. Even if the pipes are not properly inserted after the awning is unfolded, they
can be rearranged in the right order. Make sure the tubes of the frame are completely
put on the pins.
Caution: do not tear the awning, if the tubes are not put on the pins, they create a
dangerous strain of the awning between the tunnels!
f) Do the same with the other hinge.
g) To prevent the steel tube from escaping the hinge, fix the first and the last arcs of
the frame with cotter pins.
Step 5: Secure the awning
Before securing the awning, you need to “shake”it. To do this, jerk the awning on
both sides to the left and to the right, so that the film and the tunnels are correctly
distributed along the meridians.
a) Now, secure the awning using six corkscrews.
b) On both sides of the awning on the first and last arcs, there are three holes. In all
these six holes, a corkscrew should be placed. Having closed the awning, mark the
places and screw the corkscrews into the ground. They should be placed outside the
entire structure. Screw the corkscrews halfway, the clearance must be 2-3 cm. The
handles of the corkscrews must be perpendicular to the frame of the awning and
overlap with it.
c) To secure the sides of the awning on the ground in a closed position, put the frame
of the awning in the openings of the corkscrew handle. To prevent its escape, secure
it in the ground with pins.
Step 6: Install the awning in a semi-open position.
a) Using a rope, measure the distance between the meridians in their central parts.
b) Tie one end of the rope to the last arc of the awning frame in its central part, make
a loop on the other end of the rope and put it on the handle of the corkscrew.
c) Open the awning.
d) To prevent the awning from folding, put the arc lying on the ground onto the
corkscrew handle.
e) To avoid bending of the arcs, as well as damage to the awning for models of 5 m
or more, or in areas with strong winds, it is necessary to secure a slightly open
awning with two ropes through the side holes.

f) For an awning with a diameter of 650 cm, use four additional corkscrews to secure
the rope, since under the influence of wind gusts or strong lateral wind, an increased
force is applied and two standard corkscrews may not hold the structure:
1. Screw 4 additional corkscrews in the ground at a distance of 200 cm from the
anchorage points, while the awning is closed.
2. Measure the rope and tie one end to the awning, the other end - to the
corkscrew in the ground.
Important: in a slightly open condition, all 4 ropes must be strained and withstand
approximately the same force. This method of attachment provides a more stable
position in case of a lateral wind.
To keep the awning closed if there are constant strong lateral winds, additional
strainers must be used.

Secure oval-shaped awnings in a semi-open condition as shown in the picture.
