E-Mail operation
❶·ŧǃìŐėƫƊƢĸėĐėǂĽĉėƊƎėƖƖƢĸėćƫƢƢŧŞENERGY
SAVER.
❷Place the originals on the platen or in the
document processor.
❸Press SEND on the Home screen.
❹Enter the destination address.
From the address book:
In the destination box press ((¢/ªª{{e .
Press the checkbox to select the desired
destination from the list. Press ƢŧǠŞĐƢĸė
destination. Enter the name you search for.
!ŧŞǠƎśǃĽƢĸOK.
You can also press FTg·/¢ to perform a more
detailed search.
You may choose multiple destinations.
Enter an e-mail address:
In the destination box press ENTER DESTINATION or
the Ɩljśćŧœ!ŧŞǠƎśƢĸė/oTg selection.
Enter the e-mail address on the touch screen.
After that press OK.
TįljŧƫǃìŞƢƢŧƖėŞĐƢĸėėśìĽœƢŧƖėǂėƎìœ
destinations press NEXT DESTINATION.
Enter a fax number:
In the destination box press ENTER DESTINATION or
the Ɩljśćŧœ!ŧŞǠƎśƢĸėFAX selection.

After that press OK.
❺To start transmission press START.
Sending
❶Press SEND on the Home screen.
❷Press QUICK SETUP. Choose the desired settings.
❸ƎėƖƖìƎƎŧǃĐŧǃŞćƫƢƢŧŞ to open additional
settings.
❹Choose the items to be changed by opening the
related submenu.
❺!ŧŞǠƎśǃĽƢĸOK.
❶Press SEND on the Home screen.
❷Press QUICK SETUP.
Choose an item to be changed. After
ĉĸìŞıĽŞıĉŧŞǠƎśǃĽƢĸOK.

Press FTg/ro//r·¢Ý and change the name.

❸Press DESTINATION to return to the main menu.

Media type
settings
❶When printing from an application press
PROPERTIES button.
❷Choose BASIC tab.
❸To print on the special paper such
as thick paper or transparency, click
the MEDIA TYPE menu and select the
media type.

Print operation
Note: To activate the private printing from
the PC, select the JOB tab in the printer
driver and click PRIVATE PRINT. The section
CUSTOM윜ŧǃƖljŧƫƢŧƢljƊėĽŞljŧƫƎŞìśė
directly.
❶Press JOB BOX on the Home screen.
❷Press ¢TÖ·/¢Tr·ª·{¢/(c{.
❸Select the creator of the private print job.
❹Select the document to be printed

❷Place the originals on the platen or in the
document processor.
❸Press COPY on the Home screen.
❹Press DENSITY to change the brightness of the
copy.
❺/ŞƢėƎƢĸėŞƫśćėƎŧįĉŧƊĽėƖǃĽƢĸƢĸė·/re/Ý
pad.
Duplex:
Press (¿g/Ü on the touch screen and select the
desired function.
Changing paper source:
Press /¢ª/g/!·T{r. Choose the desired paper
format. When using special sizes or media types
select the MP TRAY. Make sure that all MP Tray
settings are correct.

❷Choose the desired function.
