The firmware is upgraded as follows.
C
ONTENT OF CHANGES
:
Improving margin for communication between the controller board and FAX board
There is little margin for detecting connection between the controller board and FAX board and in case the condition is worse depending
on variation of the resistance value on the FAX board, system error *CF14A or CF378 may rarely appear.
Therefore, following is changed:
Register setting that is affected by the resistance value on the FAX board is changed to improve the margin.
(*CF14A/CF378: error indicated when communication between boards is disconnected.)

OPIC
:
The firmware is upgraded as follows.
C
ONTENT OF CHANGES
:
Measures against JAM5001 (Bridge conveying sensor 3 non arrival jam)
The leading edge of paper may stop at the roller at the DF side of the bridge unit in the conditions below with continuous output fed from
the standard cassette and ejected to DF-470, and JAM5001(Bridge conveying sensor 3 non arrival jam) may appear.
Therefore, this is corrected.
Condition of occurrence: Affected model: 25cpm machine with DF-470 and AK-470installed. (PF is not installed) Paper size: Letter, A4
(fed widthwise).
Change: Time to remove the chattering of the bridge conveying sensor (conveying sensor 2) is dependent on existence of PF and there
is little margin in the time. Time to remove the chattering is changed from 20msec to 200mse to resolve. (The chattering is regarded as
arrival of next paper to make stand-by for next paper but J5001 appears after the jam detection timeout)
U605 is implemented to execute [Data clear].
Measures against image failure when adjusting the scanner magnification in the main scanning direction with U065.
Black streaks may appear on B/W copy after enlarging with U065 [Adjusting the scanner magnification]. Therefore, this is corrected.
Default display when pressing Favorite button is changed.
Default display when pressing Favorite button is changed so that the function name layout is easily changed. (Refer to the next page).
U265 [Set Model Destination] is implemented.
Customized operation panel is supported using FMU.
Customized operation panel is available that supports the workflow template by using FMU(File Management Utility).
Measures against address book search error.
[Not registered] message may appear for the registered data when searching the address book. Therefore, this is corrected.
Measures against system error F65B with SMB send.
System error F56B may appear when scanning large size original to small size data with the setting below. Therefore, this is corrected.
