VG-6612 (Standard Version) remote control instructions
I. Product introduction
The VG-6612 remote controller is applicable to the VG-6622 smoke alarm series produced by our company, and has
the function of wireless networking for fire detection and alarm.When you need to carry out self check, mute, alarm
location and other operations on the networked fire detection alarm, just press the corresponding button of the remote
control.

IV. Installation and use
1. Installation
1) Insert the supplied plastic disc into the groove of the battery cover plate, rotate the position in Fig. 1 anticlockwise,
and take out the battery cover plate.
2) Pull out the red insulating sheet as shown by the arrow in Figure 2. At this time, the green indicator light on the front
of the remote control will remain on for 3 seconds, indicating that the product has been powered on (for example,
please replace the battery when pulling out the red insulating sheet).
3) Align the battery cover groove to “ ” unlock symbol and makes the battery cover flush with the base surface,
and use the plastic disc to rotate clockwise to “ ” lock symbol position, and hear the click sound to complete the
installation as shown in Figure 3.

2. Use
Note: before using the remote control, it is necessary to learn and match with the smoke alarm that needs to be
networked. Please operate in strict accordance with the following steps, otherwise the functions of the remote control
cannot be realized.
1) “Learn” operation for remote control and smoke alarm at the same time
 Buckle the battery mounting plate of smoke alarm in place according to the operation mode described in VG-6622
series instructions.
 Select a smoke alarm arbitrarily, press the "Learn" button twice, and the green indicator light will be on (as the
host).
 Press the "Learn" button of other smoke alarms respectively, and the red indicator light will be on (as an
extension).
 Press the "Locate" button on the remote control for 2 seconds, and the red indicator light will be on.
 Press the "test / hush" button on the smoke alarm of the host, at this time, the red indicator light next to the "lean"
button of the smoke alarm flashes, and the indicator light changes from red to green after receiving the signal from
other extensions and remote controllers, and the smoke alarm will send out a loud alarm sound to complete the
learning.
2) Remote control independent learning
When the user has learned and matched the smoke alarm that needs to be connected to the network before, and
later he wants to add the remote control to the network, please follow the steps below to operate:
After confirming that the remote control has been powered up for normal operation, press the "locate" key
for 2 seconds, at this time, the red indicator light is always on.
press the "test" button on any previously networked smoke alarm, and the remote control will change from
the red light to the green light to complete the learning
3）Remote control function
 TEST:When you need to test the networked smoke alarm, press the "test" key for 2 seconds, and the green
indicator light is always on. When the smoke alarm within the communication range receives the signal, it
will send out a loud alarm sound, indicating that the smoke alarm works normally.
 HUSH:When the smoke alarm is alarmed due to the non real fire environment such as smoking, cooking and
environment, the remote control indicator light will flash red. You can press the "hush" button of the remote
control, and the smoke alarm will enter the mute mode for about minutes.
LOCATE:When the smoke alarm give alarm and other networked smoke alarms also alarm, the user cannot
identify the location of the real smoke alarm which raise the alert. At this time, press the "locate" key of the
remote control, and the remote control will turn off other networked smoke alarms, only the real fire detected

smoke alarm will keep for sound for the user to find the exact location place.
 MEMORY:When the user is not at home, the smoke alarm returns to normal after an alarm occurs. The user
can press the "memory" button of the remote control. At this time, the smoke alarm that once alarm will send
out a loud alarm sound to facilitate the user to find the specific location.
Note:When you press the "memory" key for the first time, you start to repeat the operation of the key for 10
minutes and help you find out the smoke alarm which once alarmed,but if excess than 10min after your
first press, this function is invalid.
 Remote control low voltage -When it is found that the red indicator light of the remote control flashes once
every 10 seconds, it means that the remote control is about to run out of power. Please replace the battery in
time.
V. Notice
 After you test the smoke alarm, the smoke alarm will enter the silent mode for about 9 minutes. If there is a fire
during this period, the smoke alarm cannot alarm. It is recommended that the user stay about 10 minutes before
leave.
 When the remote control has low power alarm, please replace the battery of the same model in time.
 Prevent the machine from falling from high place and violent extrusion or impact.
 The communication distance of the remote controller is 50 meters (free field). Because of the room structure and
obstacles, the remote control distance will change. When using, try to keep the remote controller in the center area
of networked smoke alarms.

1. The package is made of renewable materials, please recycle as much as possible.
2. Used batteries and electrical waste cannot be discarded together with general household garbage.
