1. When the device receives instruction 1, it will immediately read GPS information and return Chinese

Description: S030 means to turn off GPS for 30 minutes and its setup range is [1, 255]. L01 means to turn on
GPS for 1 minute and its setup range is [1, 98]. If GPS is available in the first phase, the device will not enter the
second phase and turn off GPS. If GPS is not available in the first phase, it will enter the second phase. H03
indicates total time to turn on GPS, i.e., the second phase is 2 minutes (Hzz-Lyy) with setup range of [3, 99].
If S is 0, the device will exit from power saving mode and switch to GPS normal ly-on mode , namely 188
instruction is invalid. When success to receiving the instruction, the device will send confirmation information:
GPS AUTO MODE: (yy-zz)/xxx Minutes.
Note: 1. When setting parameters such as S/L/H, if high status is 0, the user must add a zero.
For example, in order to turn off GPS for 30 minutes, the user should set S030 instead of S30.
2. Hzz is the total time over which GPS is on, and shall not be less than

Description: After the device successfully sets instruction 199, instruction 188 will come into effect. When
success to receiv e instruction 188, the device will return confirmation information: GPS AUTO MODE ON OK.
After entering power saving mode, the device will switch on/off GPS on time in accordance with parameters set by
instruction 199 to save power.
For example: Set 1990000S030L01H03 and send 188 to enter the mode, then the device will firstly turn off
GPS for 30 minutes (S030) and then turn on for 1 minute (L01) in accordance with instruction 199. If GPS is
available in within the 1 minute (L01), the device will turn off GPS for 30 minutes (S030). If GPS is not available
within 1 minute (L01), it will keep GPS on for 2 minutes (H03-L01). After 2 minutes, whether GPS is available, it
will be turned off for 30 minutes. The process will be repeated again and again.
Note:
1. Before switching GPS to power saving mode, please set 199 instruction parameters.
2. After turning on power saving mode, GPRS timing upload and historical data sampling will be suspended
while GPS is turned off. If GPS is available while it is turned on, GPRS timing upload and historical data sampling
will resume normal.
3. After turning on power saving mode and while GPS is turned off, whether under message mode or GPRS
mode, if there is request for position information , for example: 666, 806, cell phone positioning, SOS or 4XX,
GPS will be turned on immediately. The device will read the latest data of GPS and turn off GPS when the next
power saving cycle comes.

X=1, earphone is switched off and the device is in monitoring mode. After setup is successful, the device will

is turned off, if prestored phone calls in, the terminal will not give prompt sound. About 10 seconds later, the phone
will be answered automatically. The user can hear sound from the device side but the device side cannot hear the
user.
When X=0, the earphone is turned on. After setup is successful, the device will send confirmation information
to the sender: SET PROFILE OK, CURRENT PROFILE: NORMAL. After earphone is turned on, if prestored
phone calls in, there will be prompt sound. About 10 seconds later, the phone will be answered automatically. Both
part ies can converse with each other. After conversation the device will return position information with the same
format as "request for single positioning ” . Information status is STATUS: ANSWER. If non-prestored phone
number calls in, it will be hung up without other response.
